A heterogeneous wireless sensor network comprises a number of inexpensive energy constrained wireless sensor nodes which collect data from the sensing environment and transmit them toward the improved cluster head in a coordinated way. Employing clustering techniques in such networks can achieve balanced energy consumption of member nodes and prolong the network *** classical clustering techniques, clustering and in-cluster data routes are usually separated into independent operations. Although separate considerations of these two issues simplify the system design, it is often the non-optimal lifetime expectancy for wireless sensor networks. This paper proposes an integral framework that integrates these two correlated items in an interactive entirety. For that,we develop the clustering problems using nonlinear programming. Evolution process of clustering is provided in simulations. Results show that our joint-design proposal reaches the near optimal match between member nodes and cluster heads.

The dynamics of two-word naming game incorporating the influence of biased assimilation is investigated in this paper. Firstly an extended naming game with biased assimilation(NGBA) is proposed. The hearer in NGBA accepts the received information in a biased manner, where he will refuse to accept the conveyed word with a predefined probability, if it is different from his own current memory. Secondly, the adaptive network is formulated, where the existing links may be reconnected so that the individual can influence other individuals over the population as much as possible. Numerical simulation results show that the population in NGBA can eventually reach consensus;the larger strength of biased assimilation on both words, the slower convergence speed, while larger strength of biased assimilation on only one word can slightly accelerate the convergence;larger population size can make the rate of convergence slower to a large extent when it increases from relatively small size, but such effect becomes minor when the population size is large;the behavior of adaptively reconnecting the existing links can greatly accelerate the rate of convergence.

This paper proposes a novel event-triggered algorithm based on a contract robust control invariant set trajectory for robust constrained model predictive controlsystem. The trigger condition relies on the relationship between the sets where two continuous state vectors lie in. Feasibility of the algorithm and stability of the system are derived utilizing the invariant set theory. Simulation shows that the proposed algorithm is feasible and able to ultimately drive the states to a bound set related to the desired performance, while reducing the frequency of solving optimization problem and the number of control updates significantly.

Countries in the world have formed a huge network by international investment and trade, where economic turmoil in some areas may lead to a worldwide financial crisis. In this paper, based on the international investment and trade data of155 countries from 2007 to 2010, a double-layer network is constructed to analyze the economic crisis’ s influence that how countries’ economic situation evolves over time and affects each other. First, an improved epidemic model is developed on the double-layer network, where each country possesses three candidate states including susceptible, contagious and ***, Debt Rank of each layer is calculated to quantify the propagation of financial distress and crisis, which shows that Debt Rank is basically consistent with the GDP of countries, and countries with small Debt Rank are more vulnerable in trade network, while countries with big Debt Rank are more vulnerable in investment network.
