Dynamic Quality of Service(QoS)prediction for services is currently a hot topic and a challenge for research in the fields of service recommendation and *** paper addresses the problem with a Time-aWare service Quality Prediction method(named TWQP),a two-phase approach with one phase based on historical time slices and one on the current time *** the first phase,if the user had invoked the service in a previous time slice,the QoS value for the user calling the service on the next time slice is predicted on the basis of the historical QoS data;if the user had not invoked the service in a previous time slice,then the Covering Algorithm(CA)is applied to predict the missing *** the second phase,we predict the missing values for the current time slice according to the results of the previous phase.A large number of experiments on a real-world dataset,WS-Dream,show that,when compared with the classical QoS prediction algorithms,our proposed method greatly improves the prediction accuracy.

Despite that the surrogate-assisted evolutionary algorithms have achieved great success in addressing expensive optimization problems, they still suffer from stiff challenges when the number of dimensions of problems becomes large. The primary reason lies in that it is very hard to build an acceptable surrogate model in the high-dimensional search space with small amounts of evaluated historical data in evolution. To tackle this issue, we suggest an effective surrogate modeling method for large-scale expensive optimization in this paper, where the models are built on a number of linear subspaces instead of the original search space. Specifically, a linear subspace is constructed by a pair of points/solutions which are generated based on the set of elite solutions. For each linear subspace, several historical solutions are first associated according to their distance to the linear subspace, and then a surrogate model is trained by the associated solutions and used to evaluate the offspring. To ensure the exploration and exploitation capacity of the proposed method, these linear subspaces and the surrogate models are updated after a few iterations. Experimental results on CEC’2010 and CEC’2013 single-objective optimization problems with up to 1500 decision variables show that the proposed algorithm is superior over six comparison algorithms. Flexible electronics have garnered significant attention due to their promising applications in embodied intelligence, smart interaction, and human-machine interface (HMI). In particular, flexible sensors with a detectability of proximity and pressure hold great potential in areas such as touchless control, health monitoring, and robotic perception. Here, we present a biomimetic flexible capacitive sensor, called the loop electrode bioinspired snail tentacle sensor (LEBSTS). The loop-patterned electrode layer enhances proximity sensing via the fringing field effect, while the bioinspired snail tentacle-structured polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) dielectric layer provides high sensitivity for pressure detection. The above design significantly improves sensing performance, achieving long-range proximity detection of 140 mm, a wide pressure-detection range from 0.9 Pa to 500 kPa, a high sensitivity of 2.844 kPa (0-1 kPa), and a fast response time of 87.5 ms. Moreover, the sensor demonstrates good durability, maintaining stable performance over 4500 cycles. Furthermore, the potential application of the sensor was explored, including human motion monitoring, touchless HMI, Morse code transmission via LoRa wireless communication, and pressure visualization systems. This work provides insights into the development of a high-performance and multifunctional flexible sensor, offering a promising platform for advanced intelligent sensing applications.
