In this paper, a novel model-free control scheme is proposed for synchronous motion control of multiple continuum robots. The control problem is formulated as two convex optimization routines in an adaptive and model-free closed-loop framework. The proposed approach is heading to address cooperative task execution for multiple continuum robots. The model-free feedback control guarantees the high portability for a wide range of continuum robots. Simulation studies are conducted on two kinds of tasks, which are cooperative task execution with two robots and simultaneously tracking control with three robots. Besides, the superiority of proposed approach is validated through comparisons with other methods. Simulation results prove the high accuracy and efficiency of this model-free feedback control scheme.

Vibration fault detection becomes increasingly used for economical and safety reasons. However, current research reveals some problems such as low accuracy of fault detection, few effective in-depth calculation of vibration data and few flexible architectures in that area. In this paper, a vibration fault detection Cyber-Physical System (CPS)with service support (S-VFDCPS) is presented. From the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) point of view, S-VFDCPS consists of enterprise level, gateway level and endpoint level, with relevant vibration detection services on each level. From the Cyber-Physical system (CPS) point of view, it contains three layers: the monitoring and control layer, the network layer and the device layer. Data processing algorithms and services are proposed quantifying the criteria of fault evaluation. It is shown by testing results that our proposed approach and the improvement in design make S-VFDCPS more flexible and accurate in real-time vibration fault detection.

This paper presents an industrial fault analysis Internet of Things(IoT) system adopting the semantic service paradigm. Industrial vibration fault analysis becomes increasingly useful for economical and safety reasons. The architecture of vibration fault analysis IoT consists of enterprise level, gateway level and endpoint level where various vibration detection services are integrated. Semantic service involves the collection, representation and processing of relevant information of devices and data was developed. Data processing schemes and services are proposed quantifying the criteria of fault evaluation, and the relevant ontology was designed. Testing results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach and system design in increasing the flexibility and accuracy of real-time industrial vibration fault analysis.

Intrusion detection plays an important role in ensuring network information security. Traditional machine learning technology does not work well enough with massive data and various intrusion classes, and detection accuracy turns unsatisfied with unknown intrusions. This paper proposes a new network intrusion detection model (conv1d-GRU) that combines one-dimensional convolution and GRU for multi-class intrusion detection scenarios, and improves data imbalance by weighting the samples of each category. NSL-KDD as an improved version of the KDD CUP99 dataset is selected for our intrusion detection system. Experimental results on this dataset show that the proposed deep learning method is superior to present intrusion detection methods based on machine learning and deep learning, and has better feature representation learning and classification capabilities.

The Clock constraint Specification Language (CCSL) is a clock-based formalism for formal specification and analysis of real-time embedded systems. Previous approaches for the schedulability analysis of CCSL specifications are mainly based on model checking or SMT-checking. In this paper we propose a logical approach mainly based on theorem proving. We build a dynamic logic called 'clock-based dynamic logic' (cDL) to capture the CCSL specifications and build a proof calculus to analyze the schedule problem of the specifications. comparing with previous approaches, our method benefits from the dynamic logic that provides a natural way of capturing the dynamic behaviour of CCSL and a divide-and-conquer way for 'decomposing' a complex formula into simple ones for an SMT-checking procedure. Based on cDL, we outline a method for the schedulability analysis of CCSL. We illustrate our theory through one example. © 2019 IEEE.

In this paper, we raise a method to find certain motion segments in the video using a Multi-2d pose estimation model. Several types of angles are extracted. We draw a continuous curve based on the entire video for all required angle values and smooth the angle curve to reduce the influence of human detection errors on motion recognition. After the smoothing process, the curve is again processed into a change curve as analysis and then search for two kinds of movements with a reasonable threshold. We also handle the noise in the recognition result to get more accurate motion fragments. By comparing and analyzing different parameters, the optimal parameters to achieve lower error is found. We coded the system and carried out a large number of experimental analysis mainly through the analysis of the characters in the video to turn around and get up, and the following results are achieved: 1)Be able to use effectively optimized data for effective analysis. 2)In a multi-person situation, the classification of each person's data based on time series is achieved. 3)Fragments of two motion states are detected more accurately.

It is a reliable way to judge gastric cancer by pathological section. Using deep learning method to detect medical images, as an auxiliary diagnosis method, it can improve the speed and accuracy of doctors to diagnose gastric cancer, and reduce misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis. Mask R-CNN is the latest method in the related field at the beginning of the research. It is mainly used to segment the objects in daily life and achieve good results. The medical image is very different from the scene in life, and the detection effect is also weakened. We use the Mask R-CNN method to detect the pathological sections of gastric cancer, and segment the cancer nest, and then optimize it by adjusting parameters. The method finally allows it to obtain a test result with an AP value of 61.2 when detecting medical images.

We present a scalable stacking-based deep neural network(S-DNN) for facial expression recognition. The network is a congregate of basic learning models in series to synthesize a deep neural network with feedforward network architecture. Thur, choosing trainable learning modules is the core to effectively build S-DNN in an end-to-end manner. Inspired by the manifold learning archetype, we implement a Patch Discriminative Analysis(PDA) as a basic learning model, followed by hashing and block histogram on the top, which sample image in a low discriminative space, and finding an efficient representation of the training data. As those self-learnable models trained, a low dimensional discriminative feature is implicitly learned, which proves to be useful in facial expression recognition. Experimental results on the facial expression dataset(CK+) show that the proposed model is superior to its counterparts, capable of achieving state-of-the-art performance.

A programmable logic controller (PLC) is essentially a computer dedicated to industrial control which is widely used in the field of global automation control. However, PLC software bugs can result in economic losses and even personal safety issues. PLC software must be thoroughly tested regarding function, structure, safety, and other aspects to avoid accidents. Existing PLC tools are mainly based on the manual setting of input data, which is not only unable to be well automated but also cannot provide information about code coverage. This paper presents an automated test case generation approach for a Structured Text (ST) language to reduce the cost of testing, using dynamic symbolic execution. We apply this method to implement the coverage-based automated test case generation tool STAutoTester. We have evaluated STAutoTester on 21 programs. The experimental results show that STAutoTester can effectively handle these programs. For 11 ST programs, STAutoTester reduces, on average, 87.5% of generated test cases compared to SYMPLC.

The RFID based school gate system is used to estimate students entering or leaving the school when they go through the school gate with RFID tags. In general, the accuracy of the estimation of RFID is sensitive to complex electromagnetic environment changing. For example, the estimation success rate is high in some circumstance but low when there is a car parking in front of directional readers. In this paper, a method is presented by which the direction of the readers would be automatically adjusted according to the received information of the tags. With this method, the accuracy of the estimation of RFID could maintain high even if the electromagnetic environment changes. Experiments also were carried out to evaluate the feasibility of the proposed method. The results showed that the method is highly suitable to keep a stable success rate of motion direction estimation in school gate systems. © 2018 IEEE.
