Interactive communication media algorithms are useful tools for creating efficient and effective networking applications. Such algorithms enable the application to accurately predict user behaviour and preferences, use natural language processing to automate conversations, and integrate with other systems. This paper investigates the benefits of using interactive communication media algorithms for developing networking applications, including improved user experience, scalability, and quicker response times. Additionally, this paper will address potential limitations, such as the need for significant data collection and availability of relevant computing resources. Finally, this paper will conclude with a discussion of the potential implications of further investigations into interactive communication media algorithms for networking applications. © 2024 IEEE.

In today’s world of growing technology, we can do things we never thought we could do before, but to achieve these ideas, there is a need for a platform that can do all our work easily and comfortably. So, we humans have developed applications such as the Human Voice Assistant with the ability to interact with the environment in one of the most visible forms of human interaction namely HUMANVOICE. The most popular Android mobile app "Google Assistant" and "Google Voice Search" were developed by Google. Various applications such as Microsoft Cortana and Amazon Alexa are also used as voice assistants. The Apple iPhone’s voice assistant named "SIRI" helps the users to communicate with the services and applications of iOS by voice and respond to the user’s voice commands. We have built an application where the voice assistant will be available on a specific desktop or laptop. It can change the overall course of interaction between the user and the system. Underwater wireless sensor networks(UWSNs)rely on data aggregation to streamline routing operations by merging information at intermediate nodes before transmitting it to the ***,many existing data aggregation techniques are designed exclusively for static networks and fail to reflect the dynamic nature of underwater ***,conventional multi-hop data gathering techniques often lead to energy depletion problems near the sink,commonly known as the energy hole ***,cluster-based aggregation methods face significant challenges such as cluster head(CH)failures and collisions within clusters that degrade overall network *** address these limitations,this paper introduces an innovative framework,the Cluster-based Data Aggregation using Fuzzy Decision Model(CDAFDM),tailored for mobile *** proposed method has four main phases:clustering,CH selection,data aggregation,and *** CH selection,a fuzzy decision model is utilized to ensure efficient cluster head selection based on parameters such as residual energy,distance to the sink,and data delivery likelihood,enhancing network stability and energy *** the aggregation phase,CHs transmit a single,consolidated set of non-redundant data to the base station(BS),thereby reducing data duplication and saving *** adapt to the changing network topology,the re-clustering phase periodically updates cluster formations and reselects *** results show that CDAFDM outperforms current protocols such as CAPTAIN(Collection Algorithm for underwater oPTical-AcoustIc sensor Networks),EDDG(Event-Driven Data Gathering),and DCBMEC(Data Collection Based on mobile Edge Computing)with a packet delivery ratio increase of up to 4%,an energy consumption reduction of 18%,and a data collection latency reduction of 52%.These findings highlight the framework’s potential for reliable and energy-efficient data aggregation mobile UWSNs.

The task of electrocardiogram (ECG) classification is a combination of data compression and classification of signals based on the patient's health. This paper introduces a novel technique for compressing electrocardiogram (ECG) images and utilizing these compressed images for accurate classification. We transform ECG signals into images and compress them to reduce their size while preserving classification accuracy significantly. Our approach employs a 2-dimensional Convolutional Neural Network (2-D CNN) model and achieves an impressive accuracy of 97% even after compressing the images by up to 76%. The proposed technique was tested on the widely-used MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Dataset, demonstrating its robustness and efficacy. Maintaining high classification accuracy despite significant image compression is crucial for efficient storage and transmission in resource-constrained environments. This method holds substantial potential for real-time monitoring and diagnosis in telemedicine applications, emphasizing the importance of our contribution to the field. © 2025 IEEE.

Suicide appears to have reached the highest public health importance, with social media like Twitter providing an infinite source of information that may help in the detection of ideation. This paper describes the development of an effective machine learning-based model for the classification of suicidal ideation in tweets using sentiment analysis. An assembly was done with a dataset of 9,120 tweets; they were labelled according to the suicidal thoughts expressed in them. We presented the assembly and preprocessing of a dataset consisting of 9,120 tweets designated based on indicative or non-indicative suicidal thoughts. The preprocessing steps consisted of normalization, tokenization, stop word removal, and lemmatization. Five ML models, namely Support Vector Machine (SVM), Multinomial Naive Bayes (MNB), Random Forest (RF), Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD), and Logistic Regression (LR), were further trained on the selected dataset. The models are tested for standard classification metrics: accuracy, precision, recall, F1-Score, and AUC. The best performance for the model was Random Forest with 95.135% and an F1-Score of 95.094%. In conclusion, our study established that an amalgamation of sentiment analysis in ML models can have the potential to detect early suicidal tendencies and that it lays a platform for timely interventions. Future research should be focused on making the dataset even larger and enhancing the detection of sarcasm and jokes in the models.

Effective early detection techniques are essential because to the tripled global prevalence of dementia, which is mostly caused by Alzheimer's disease (AD) and is predicted to reach 152 million by 2050. AD pathology, which has a preclinical phase lasting 10-20 years before severe cognitive impairment, is associated to about 70% of dementia cases. Early detection of AD is essential since medication trial success rates may be increased and risk factor management may avoid 40% of cases. Currently, lengthy cognitive tests that are insensitive to the pre-clinical stage are used to detect dementia. Initiatives to make open data available have gathered so much data on AD that it is now too much for humans to analyze. In order to diagnose AD accurately, machine learning (ML) has become essential, especially when it comes to early-stage AD prediction. AI and ML-driven healthcare research places a strong emphasis on automated disease prediction systems, including dementia detection. Finding those who is susceptible of 'Alzheimer's disease' (AD) progression is still difficult, especially in light of the disease's severity and fast advancement. Preventing the progression of the disease and planning the course of treatment depend on early detection. Reviewing AD detection research conducted since 2016 has highlighted the contribution of machine learning (ML) to improving prediction accuracy. The reviews provide information on participant demographics, data modalities, feature extraction strategies, and ML models used. By combining earlier studies, promoting critical analysis, and directing future investigations for early AD diagnosis, this thorough review helps researchers. © 2024 IEEE.

Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) are commonly used in data-driven approaches to estimate the Remaining Useful Lifetime (RUL) of power electronic devices. RNNs are preferred because their intrinsic feedback mechanisms are better suited to model time-series data. However, the impact of RNN complexity on estimation accuracy is rarely discussed in the literature. This issue is important because choosing a lower-complexity model that delivers the same or similar performance as a higher-complexity model can increase implementation efficiency. In the paper, we use three RNN models, namely, the vanilla version, LSTM (Long Short Term Memory) and GRU (Gated Recurrent Unit) to conduct RUL estimation for power electronic devices. We use two accelerated aging datasets, one dataset targeting the package failure of MOSFETs, and the other dataset targeting package failure of power diodes. Our study shows that a lower-complexity RNN does not necessarily deliver a lower performance. Similarly, a higher-complexity model does not assure a higher performance. As such, our work highlights the importance of selecting a proper neural network for RUL estimation not biased towards complex models. This is especially useful and important for implementing such RUL estimation techniques in embedded resource-constrained and speed-limited computins platforms. © 2024 IEEE.

This study systematically assesses the effectiveness of data augmentation techniques, focusing particularly on the stacked approach, across a diverse range of biomedical datasets. Advanced data augmentation methods, including style transfer data augmentation (STDA) and data augmentation generative adversarial network (DAGAN), offer promising solutions in this context. STDA leverages style transfer techniques from computer vision to create varied and realistic synthetic samples while preserving semantic content, thereby enhancing dataset variability and improving model generalization. Conversely, DAGAN utilizes generative adversarial networks (GANs) to learn the underlying data distribution, resulting in the generation of high-quality synthetic samples. Subsequently, STDA and DAGAN techniques are applied to the selected data, followed by convolution and pooling operations on the augmented samples. The pooled samples are then stacked, and the Cosine similarity is calculated to measure the resemblance to the original dataset. Parameters of STDA and DAGAN are fine-tuned to maximize the Cosine similarity. Additionally, a metaheuristic optimization algorithm called Pufferfish optimization algorithm (POA) is employed to optimize decision variables—learning rate, number of hidden units (common for both STDA and DAGAN), number of attention heads for STDA, and latent space dimensionality of DAGAN. The classification performance of the proposed POA-stacked STDA-DAGAN data augmentation methodology, along with variants using genetic algorithm (GA) and particle swarm optimization (PSO), is compared with original datasets and SMOTE balanced datasets using various classifiers and the observed accuracies, sensitivity, specificity and F-score are ranging from 91.83% to 99.11%, 91.38% to100%, 92.50% to 100% and 92.95% to 98.32% respective for all ten biomedical datasets used in this research. The extent of pollution in areas near industrial activities and Yamuna River has increased tremendously and to determine the overall water quality status in these locations is utmost important. This paper presents a comprehensive study on assessing the water quality and gain insights into the overall water quality status in the vicinity of industries and along the Yamuna River in Delhi. To achieve this, water samples were collected from Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) for the last eight years (2013-2021) and was converted into a machine-readable format to facilitate further analysis. These samples were analysed for several water quality parameters, including pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), nutrient levels, heavy metals, and other relevant pollutants. By understanding these factors, a deeper understanding of the pollution sources and their impact on water quality is gained. Time series methods are applied to forecast future trends and values of the water quality parameters. This allows for predicting potential changes in water quality over time. A remarkable accuracy of 93.6% is attained in predicting water quality values up to the present time. The analysis reveals that water quality in the NCR region falls below acceptable standards. However, there has been a marginal enhancement in the water quality at Khajori Paltoon (Location L3) post-COVID. To achieve a more significant improvement in water quality, it is imperative to implement new policies. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.. All rights reserved.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) require efficient node deployment strategies to optimize network longevity, energy consumption, and coverage. This paper introduces a novel approach for strategic node deployment in WSNs using Bayesian Optimization (BO). A BO-based framework that iteratively modifies node positions to maximize network performance metrics, such as energy efficiency and coverage ratio, while minimizing execution time is proposed. Through extensive simulations across diverse deployment scenarios, the proposed method is evaluated and demonstrates superior performance compared to both traditional and machine learning (ML)-based techniques. The results indicate significant improvements in coverage and energy efficiency, alongside competitive execution times. These findings highlight the potential of BO to enhance WSN deployment strategies, offering a scalable and adaptive solution for real-world applications. Future research will focus on integrating BO with other optimization techniques and extending the approach to dynamic environments and varied network configurations. © 2025 IEEE.
