Survival analysis of Kasturi tobacco plants in Jember district using the stratified cox and extended cox models.

In 2022, tobacco was the top export commodity, generating $106.3 million in sales. East Java Province contributes significantly to Indonesia's tobacco production, with an annual output of 188.6 thousand tons. Jember Regency is the area in East Java Province which is a Kasturi tobacco cultivation area. The productivity of Kasturi tobacco continues to decrease due to several factors that can affect the survival of the tobacco. This study aims to analyze the survival of Kasturi tobacco by creating stratified Cox and extended Cox models in order to handle factors that cannot fulfill the proportional hazard assumption. Based on the results of the analysis, the stratified Cox model is the best model with AIC and BIC values of 798.108 and 805.5748 respectively, while the extended Cox has AIC and BIC values of 840.2186 and 850.1732 respectively. Variables that can significantly affect the survival of Kasturi tobacco are the variable concentration of ZA fertilizer, pesticide concentration. The addition of ZA fertilizer must be appropriate, because if excessive it can cause poisoning of tobacco plants. Likewise with pesticides, if excessive it will cause damage to the leaves. This policy can increase the productivity of Kasturi tobacco. Then, Jember Regency contributes greater export capacity. • This paper aims to determine the factors that affect the survival of Kasturi tobacco plants in Jember • By using the extended Cox model, the best one is obtained using the Heaviside function with AIC and BIC values of 840.2186 and 850.1732, respectively • The stratified Cox model is better than the extended Cox model, which has AIC and BIC values of 798.108 and 805.5748, respectively © 2025 The Author(s)

Halo phenomena have long been an important frontier in both experimental and theoretical nuclear physics. 37Mg was identified as a halo nucleus in 2014 and remains the heaviest nuclear halo system to date. While the halo phenomenon in 37Mg was not predicted before the discovery, its description has been still challenging afterwards. In this Letter, we report a microscopic and self-consistent description of the neutron halo in 37Mg using the deformed relativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov theory in continuum (DRHBc) that was developed in 2010. The experimental neutron separation energies and empirical matter radii of neutron-rich magnesium isotopes as well as the deformed p-wave halo characteristics of 37Mg are well reproduced without any free parameters. In particular, the orbital occupied by the halo neutron in 37Mg, exhibiting p-wave components comparable to those suggested in experiments, remains consistent across various employed density functionals including PC-F1, PC-PK1, NL3*, and PK1. The DRHBc theory investigated only even-even magnesium isotopes in previous works and for that reason missed predicting 37Mg as a halo nucleus before 2014. Although the core and the halo of 37Mg are both prolate, higher-order shape decoupling on the hexadecapole and hexacontatetrapole levels is predicted. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. Single image super-resolution (SISR) has played an important role in the field of image processing. Recent generative adversarial networks (GANs) can achieve excellent results on low-resolution images with small samples. However, there are little literatures summarizing different GANs in SISR. In this paper, we conduct a comparative study of GANs from different perspectives. We first take a look at developments of GANs. Second, we present popular architectures for GANs in big and small samples for image applications. Then, we analyze motivations, implementations and differences of GANs based optimization methods and discriminative learning for image super-resolution in terms of supervised, semi-supervised and unsupervised manners, where these GANs are analyzed via integrating different network architectures, prior knowledge, loss functions and multiple tasks. Next, we compare performance of these popular GANs on public datasets via quantitative and qualitative analysis in SISR. Topological insulators are materials with an insulating bulk interior while maintaining gapless boundary states against back scattering. Bi2Se3 is a prototypical topological insulator with a Dirac-cone surface state around Γ. Here, we present a controlled methodology to gradually remove Se atoms from the surface Se-Bi-Se-Bi-Se quintuple layers, eventually forming bilayer-Bi on top of the quintuple bulk. Our method allows us to track the topological surface state and confirm its robustness throughout the surface modification. Importantly, we report a relocation of the topological Dirac cone in both real space and momentum space, as the top surface layer transitions from quintuple Se-Bi-Se-Bi-Se to bilayer-Bi. Additionally, charge transfer among different surface layers is identified. Our study provides a precise method to manipulate surface configurations, allowing for the fine-tuning of the topological surface states in Bi2Se3, which represents a significant advancement towards nano-engineering of topological states. IT Governance are one of the needs in managing Enterprise Level IT. This study shows part of the decision domain of IT Governance Help, which are IT Investment and Prioritization. The purpose of this study is to determine feasibility of implementation open source ERP system Odoo project management module that replaces current system based on operational, economic, and technical aspects. The method used are Fit/Gap Analysis and Cost Benefit model using economic impact worksheet. The analysis is done by comparing the requirement with features owned by current system and Odoo ERP system. This research resulted that Odoo ERP System is feasible in the 3 aspects, the operational feasibility Odoo reaching 72% Fit, the economic feasibility with ROI of 84%, and technical feasibility indicating the technical requirement can be fulfilled by leasing AWS server. The conclusion is the open source ERP system Odoo project management module is feasible to be applied in terms of 3 aspects that have been studied, those are operational, economic, and technical. © 2019 IEEE.

In image processing fusion having a significant importance for different applications. Generally the process of image fusion is applied in multiple image and get output is one image. Now a day’s fusion is most popular in machine perception so we need accurate images after applying the fusion techniques. So in this work we compared different fusion techniques and analyzed their performance. Here different masks are applied in the images using discrete cosine transform (DCT) for better results. Out of different masking’s fanshaped mask gives better quality fused images. In multimodal identification systems requires the multiple image processing technques can be fused in this context the more accurated fused techniques required,so in this proposed work we provide the best fused techniques using masking techniques. Masking is a process of get some piece of information from the image based on the piece of information from the image modify the entire remaining image. In this paper study the different image processing fusion techniques and compare those fusion techniques given a comparative results. The results help full to the researcher which fusion techniques is better suitable for their work.

With the integration of smartphone into daily life, end users store a large amount of sensitive information into Android device. For protecting the sensitive information, a method of multi-booting Android OS from On-The-Go(OTG) device is proposed to meet the requirements of end users in different scenarios. The proposed method utilizes system domain isolation to guarantee the security of sensitive information on different Android *** difference with other solutions is that our proposed solution does not add additional components to Android OS,which makes the overhead of Android runtime has been effectively controlled. A prototype of the proposed method is implemented and deployed into the real android device to evaluate the effectiveness, the efficiency and the performance overhead. The experiment results show that the performance overhead is reasonable and our method can effectively mitigate the risk of sensitive information leakage when booting different Android instance in the same Android device.

While machine learning (ML) models for crop recommendation have demonstrated high predictive accuracy, a critical gap persists in their practical reliability: the omission of uncertainty quantification. Existing studies predominantly deliver deterministic recommendations, neglecting inherent uncertainties arising from data noise. This raises concerns about the reliability of the decision support systems for crop recommendation. To address this, we propose an ensemble ML framework incorporating entropy-based uncertainty quantification. Trained on a publicly available Indian agricultural dataset with 2200 samples across seven agro-climatic features (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, temperature, humidity, pH, and rainfall) and 22 crop classes, the model achieves a predictive accuracy of 99.54 %. By estimating prediction confidence using entropy, the framework offers probabilistic recommendations that support environmentally informed decision-making under uncertainty. These findings suggest that integrating uncertainty measures into ML-driven crop recommendation systems can enhance reliability and promote sustainable agricultural practices. © 2025
