Proposing a visualized comparative review analysis model on tourism domain using Naïve Bayes classifier

This study, using the Naïve Bayes classifier, proposes a new descriptive model for conducting a comparative review analysis on the tourism domain. The proposed model seeks to improve the understanding of tourists' experiences by visually representing their opinions between various tourist destinations. The model predicts the sentiment of tourist reviews using the Naive Bayes classifier, which is then used to generate visualizations that facilitate comparative analysis. The comparison takes two tourism sites as experimental examples. The results, in terms of accuracy, show 80% and 64% for the first and the second site respectively. The study discusses the model's implementation, effectiveness, and potential applications in the tourism industry. The findings of the study suggest that the proposed model can provide valuable insights into tourist experiences and help tourism stakeholders, such as the managements of tourism sites, the future or soon coming tourists to make informed decisions based on comparative analysis.

The area of oil palm plantations in Indonesia increased by 7% from 14 million ha in 2017 to 15 million ha in 2021. The vast land requires the support of effective and efficient management techniques to maintain sustainable productivity. The high-performance computing technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, spatial modeling, and drones are the answers to these needs. This study aims to design an application that can obtain plantation image data and analyze the calculation of the number of oil palm trees. The image of oil palm plantations is obtained from processing photo data from drones through a mosaic and composite process. This study also employed Scrum and UML as a system model development method. The image of the oil palm plantation area is used to build a tree counting model using the Viola-Jones algorithm. The oil palm tree count information generated by this system can then be used by management for fertilizing, harvesting, and monitoring the condition of oil palm trees. © 2022 IEEE.

This research demonstrates the improvement in antenna gain by utilizing an EBG reflector. The EBG reflector includes a unit cell with grooves shaped like the letters M and W to mitigate surface waves at a frequency of 2.45 GHz. The suggested EBG reflector is constructed on an FR-4 substrate exhibiting a uniform dielectric constant of 4.3, a loss tangent of 0.025, and a thickness of 1.6 mm. Furthermore, the impact of boosting the antenna gain can be analyzed by the reflection phase diagram, which exhibits values ranging from +90° to -90° at the resonant frequency of the reflector. The proposed EBG reflector comprises 5x5 unit cells. The testing results of the reflector's performance, when integrated with a general dipole antenna, indicate that it can effectively respond to the resonant frequency of 2.45 GHz, with a |S 11 | level below -10 dB within the frequency range of 2.2 GHz to 2.6 GHz, thereby adequately covering the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n band. The suggested EBG reflector exhibits a gain of around 6.5 dBi at 2.45 GHz, indicating its efficacy in enhancing gain relative to the standard PEC reflector. Moreover, the radiation pattern is also directional.

Although the proliferation of IoT devices has led to unparalleled ease of use and accessibility, it has also raised serious privacy and safety issues. Using a systematic approach that incorporates security and privacy modelling, data analysis, and empirical trials, this study provides a deep dive into the topic of IoT security and privacy. Our results show how crucial it is to take precautions against 'Information Disclosure' by using strong encryption and authorization protocols. The need to protect against 'Unencrypted Data' vulnerabilities is further emphasized by vulnerability analysis. Encryption (AES-256) and other access control rules fare very well in the assessment of security systems. Furthermore, 'Homomorphic Encryption' is identified as a potential strategy to protecting user privacy while retaining data usefulness based on our review of privacy preservation strategies. A more secure and privacyaware IoT environment may be fostered thanks to the findings of this study, which have ramifications for the industry, government, consumers, and academics. Addressing the ever-evolving security and privacy issues in the IoT will need a future focus on cutting-edge security mechanisms, privacy-preserving technology, regulatory compliance, user-centric design, multidisciplinary cooperation, and threat intelligence sharing. © 2024 IEEE.

Recently, there has been a lot of research on using vision to direct humanoid robots as they walk. Focusing on the major methodologies, difficulties, and prospects, this review article presents an overview of the current state of study in the vision-guided walking of humanoid robots. In the first part of the study, we introduce vision-guided walking and go through the several methods that have been developed to execute it, such as visual serving, visual odometer, and visual simultaneous localization and mapping. The difficulties of vision-guided walking are then discussed; these include, but are not limited to, the necessity for accurate and strong computer vision algorithms, the robot's need to have a solid awareness of its own body and how it moves, and the need to maintain balance while walking. This paper provides a detailed review of the research on humanoid robots that use vision to direct their gait. Deep learning for vision-guided walking, tactile and proprioceptive sensing combined with vision, and reinforcement learning for adaptive walking are only a few of the issues covered in this overview. Future directions in vision-guided walking research are discussed in this paper. These include the development of more advanced and reliable computer vision algorithms, the incorporation of other modalities like tactile and auditory sensing, and the investigation of new applications for vision-guided walking in fields like healthcare and rehabilitation.

Partial discharge (PD) is a widespread phenomenon instigated in power transformer (PT) insulation systems. PDs are triggered by voids that vary in size and position within the PT insulation. The electrical characteristics of those damaging, PD-causing cavities must be well understood, to accelerate the development of advanced PD detection techniques. Thus, the impact of varying the radius and position of spherical air voids on the characteristics of PDs in PTs is examined using a 3-D finite element analysis (FEA) model designed in COMSOL Multiphysics. The spherical voids are positioned between two windings of a 512 kV, three-phase (3φ ) PT. The peak electric field (EF) and aggregate energy in the FEA model are used in conjunction with laboratory measurements of the apparent discharge magnitude, for detailed analysis of Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PET-G)-based cylindrical voids with different heights. Simulations demonstrate that the inception of PD activity in the PT model occurs for spherical voids with a radius exceeding 1 mm. Furthermore, the most severe PDs occur within the press-board insulation, adjacent to the uppermost part of the innermost windings. Experiments demonstrate that a significant increase in PD activity was observed for PET-G-based cylindrical voids with heights exceeding 1 mm. © 2022 IEEE.

Wireless sensor networks employ a variety of techniques such as data recycling, power management, and energy-aware routing protocols to reduce power consumption. Clustering is a well-known approach for extending the life of a network. It is an approach to divide the network into small groups and high-powered nodes are elected as Cluster Heads (CHs)for each group. This paper presents Coordinate-Oriented Clustered Chain Based Routing Protocol (COCCBRP), where the cluster is created along with X and Y-coordinates into equal size. Three phases make up the COCCBRP protocol's operation: chain construction, chain head selection, and head rotation mechanism. According to the distance and energy level, the criteria value of each node is determined and the node with the highest criteria value is chosen as the Chain Head. The performance of implemented work is compared with the existing CCBRP protocol. According to the findings of the simulation, the purposed strategy COCCBRP increases lifetime and reduces energy consumption as compared to the CCBRP protocol.

Soil destruction and global warming have recently come to the forefront of discussion in industrialised nations as governments strive to accommodate the rising demands of their citizens. The demand for zero-emission electric cars has increased as a result of international competitiveness and technological advancements (EVs). Concerns about the high voltage of increasing numbers of electric cars are shared by an increasing number of individuals. Since the system of batteries may be at responsible for over 30% of EV accidents, it is vital to investigate how problems with LIBs are recognized. Many different kinds of problems make it hard to fix EV's LIB. Fast and precise diagnosis of battery pack problems is crucial for the immediate and ongoing safety of EV operation. Utilizing models of neural networks like multiple hidden layers (MLP) or nonlinear activation functions, this research provides a mechanism for identifying and fixing problems with electric vehicle batteries (RBF). To generate information for the BFD system, battery simulations are done in MATLAB. Accuracy may be improved by performing pre-processing steps on the information once it has been generated. After training, the two models are put to the test to see how well they perform. There are both positive and negative measures that may be used to determine which model is the best.

Applying a digital strategy is proven to be one way to reduce the infection rate of COVID-19. As a fundamental part of it, database is capable to create a data repository to predict uncertain impacts of the pandemic. The research proposed a database design for project C-Beta that emphasized on creating an ideal system to record and monitor the daily health condition of people with COVID-19. Mainly, the research adopted Connolly and Begg principles of Database Software Development Life Cycle. As a result, the database design activities produced blueprints in the forms of data dictionary, ERD, and user views. The database design delivered in the research included with several features namely user verification, restricted research membership, and flexibility in survey creation. Based on analysis and design phase, C-Beta provides a method to collect data for COVID-19 clinical study. Researchers who utilize C-Beta is able to manage multiple surveys and extract all collected records at the same time. © 2021 IEEE.
