Everything from needs to luxuries has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in the manufacturing sector, and that includes the automotive industry. Thus, there is an immediate need for research into the automotive supply chain’s sustainability, transparency, and competency development practices. For the automotive supply chains to successfully apply the Transparency for Sustainability (TfS) architecture in the long run, it also specifies a set of skills that are necessary. The three steps that comprise this proposed method are preprocessing, feature selection, and model training. The data had to be preprocessed in order for it to be ready for analysis. The feature selection procedure is comprised of the LDA topic model, term frequency, and correlation analysis. A GRU-DT was utilized for the model’s training. The suggested method outperforms GRU and DT with an average accuracy of 96.29%.

Recently, data mining and machine learning techniques have found widespread use in the field of healthcare. The objective of this study is to develop an automated method for diagnosing illnesses. A Fuzzy logic-based random forest approach and a thorough examination of the patient's medical records are used to diagnose the disease. Clinical diagnosis is performed with the aid of a doctor's expertise and understanding in traditional healthcare. It is more challenging to provide good healthcare in rural and remote areas because patients are more likely to travel a long distance to visit a specialist. Because the number of medical practitioners and facilities in these areas is limited, providing an expert diagnosis in a fair period of time is challenging. The problem can be solved by using expert systems for disease diagnosis that employ data mining techniques and fuzzy logic. Decision trees are often used in machine learning to predict outcomes. Fuzzy datasets are an excellent choice for describing medical facts and expert opinions. Fuzzy decision trees build simple decision trees using fuzzy input. In this proposed system, an expert system that diagnoses disease using a random forest algorithm and fuzzy decision trees is provided. The fuzzy decision trees increase the accuracy of the diagnostic system. On the UCI repository, the proposed method is assessed and found to be more efficient in sickness prediction than current strategies. Classification accuracy has risen as temporal complexity has decreased.

Data processing at high speeds and storage solutions on a massive scale are two things that are becoming increasingly important as a result of the proliferation of new start-up companies and the vast volume of data that users consume daily. The cloud platforms offer a solution to these issues in the shape of virtualization, which entails the creation of several distinct virtual machines within a single actual system. Because of this, the efficiency of the processor increases, and it now has far less downtime. The four major cloud platforms are discussed, and each has its own set of benefits, which helps make them successful in their unique conducts. Although Amazon EC2 is one of the most used and earliest that offers assistance for the utmost numeral of already configured system software termed as operating systems, which falls short in terms of both its scope and the support that it makes available. In a similar vein, the Google Cloud Platform can support the greatest number of databases and has an excellent repository of in-built libraries. The Microsoft Azure has the greatest number of users out of four, however, it is badly lacking in the database supports it offers. IBM Watson offers user friendly services but has scalability issues. As a result, a conclusion has been reached, that the selecting a particular cloud platform, there is extreme dependence on the needs of the users. These requirements may vary from client to client which are the end-users of the applications. Before deciding on a particular platform, it is best to conduct a thorough analysis of the needs.

Text-based password authentication remains essential for identity verification on internet platforms and blockchain systems. However, as computational power advances, security threats to user passwords have intensified, raising concerns about their effectiveness. While special characters (i.e., non-alphanumeric symbols, which include punctuation marks, mathematical symbols, and other non-letter/number characters like '.', '@', '#', '$', and similar) are often recommended to enhance password strength, the National Institute of Standards and technology (NIST) prioritizes length over complexity, challenging their necessity. This study fills a critical gap in understanding user behavior regarding special character usage. By analyzing 15 datasets from Chinese, English, and German languages, we examined patterns of special character incorporation and their impact on password strength. Our findings indicate that users frequently employ predictable methods for including special characters, potentially compromising security, especially under stringent policies. We present three key contributions: (1) an analysis of special character usage patterns, (2) a quantitative assessment of strength differences using the PCFGv4.1 model, and (3) actionable recommendations for stakeholders to enhance password security practices. This research further advocates for aligning password policies with user behavior for more effective security. © 1986-2012 IEEE.

Quantum cryptography concentrates on the solution of cryptography that is imperishable due to the reason of fortification of secrecy which is applied to the public key distribution of quantum. It is a very prominent technology in which 2 beings can securely communicate along with the sights belongings to quantum physics. However, on basis of classical level cryptography, the used encodes were bits for data. As quantum utilizes the photons or particles polarize ones for encoding the quantized property. This is presented in qubits as a unit. Transmissions depend directly on the inalienable mechanic's law of quantum for security. This paper includes detailed insight into the three most used and appreciated quantum cryptography applications that are providing its domain-wide service in the field of mobile cloud computing. These services are (it) DARPA Network, (ii) IPSEC implementation, and (iii) the twisted light HD implementation along with quantum elements, key distribution, and protocols.

The importance of silicon cannot be undermined - in photovoltaics (PV) as well as in semiconductor industries. However, silicon is very brittle. Silicon cells/wafers crack easily during manufacturing assembly and/or during device operations. Crack Catcher AI uses novel smart fracture mechanics approach with Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies to predict and control crack/damage evolution in thin silicon cells/wafers. This is critical as semiconductor 3D integration technology calls for wafer-to-wafer bonding with utmost alignment accuracy and yield/reliability.

PepTune: De Novo Generation of Therapeutic Peptides with Multi-Objective-Guided Discrete Diffusion

Peptide therapeutics, a major class of medicines, have achieved remarkable success across diseases such as diabetes and cancer, with landmark examples such as GLP-1 receptor agonists revolutionizing the treatment of type-2 diabetes and obesity. Despite their success, designing peptides that satisfy multiple conflicting objectives, such as target binding affinity, solubility, and membrane permeability, remains a major challenge. Classical drug development and target structure-based design are ineffective for such tasks, as they fail to optimize global functional properties critical for therapeutic efficacy. Existing generative frameworks are largely limited to continuous spaces, unconditioned outputs, or single-objective guidance, making them unsuitable for discrete sequence optimization across multiple properties. To address this, we present PepTune, a multi-objective discrete diffusion model for the simultaneous generation and optimization of therapeutic peptide SMILES. Built on the Masked Discrete Language Model (MDLM) framework, PepTune ensures valid peptide structures with bond-dependent masking schedules and penalty-based objectives. To guide the diffusion process, we propose a Monte Carlo Tree Search (MCTS)-based strategy that balances exploration and exploitation to iteratively refine Pareto-optimal sequences. MCTS integrates classifier-based rewards with search-tree expansion, overcoming gradient estimation challenges and data sparsity. Using PepTune, we generate diverse, chemically modified peptides optimized for multiple therapeutic properties, including target binding affinity, membrane permeability, solubility, hemolysis, and non-fouling for various disease-relevant targets. In total, our results demonstrate that MCTS-guided masked discrete diffusion is a powerful and modular approach for multi-objective sequence design in discrete state spaces. © 2024, CC BY-NC-ND.

The population is increasing in a rapid manner and the number of vehicles is increasing in the same ratio. Also, crude oils are very useful towards the energy needs in the industries. As a result, a day will come when we face the issue of feeling the vehicles with the petrol to run the vehicle and to run the industries. So, the solution is to find out the period up to which we can use the crude oil which is currently present in the world. To get a conclusion the most populated countries India and China is taken as reference. For simulation purpose time series based Artificial Neural Network application along with Facebook Prophet is used. Facebook Prophet is used to predict future situations in time series data related to oil production and consumption in two top countries by population, China, and India, over a period of 32 years. NeuralProphet is used for modelling time-series based on neural networks forecasting the near-term oil crisis. The dataset used in this study contains three characteristics, namely population, oil production, and consumption, and is obtained from different government sources. The best part of this model is that it can predict multi step ahead of given current data as required. The method based on NeuralProphet is best suit for the time series prediction for short period or long period. It can be used in multistep ahead prediction methods. It is predicted that by 2050 the scarcity of the petroleum is most. So, the solution is either to reduce the uses of vehicles, control the population or simply go for an alternate fuel like hydrogen could be considered a suitable substitute for oil. This prediction highlights the need for sustainable energy sources to meet the energy demand in the future. In conclusion, this paper presents NeuralProphet approach for forecasting future oil consumption and production trends combining the Facebook Prophet and NeuralProphet method.

Individuals who are unable to walk independently spend most of the day in a *** population is at high risk for developing pressure injuries caused by ***,early diagnosis and prevention of these injuries still remain ***,we introduce battery-free,wireless,multimodal sensors and a movable system for continuous measurement of pressure,temperature,and hydration at skin *** device design includes a crack-activated pressure sensor with nanoscale encapsulations for enhanced sensitivity,a temperature sensor for measuring skin temperature,and a galvanic skin response sensor for measuring skin hydration *** movable system enables power harvesting,and data communication to multiple wireless devices mounted at skin-cushion interfaces of wheelchair users over full body *** evaluations and numerical simulations of the devices,together with clinical trials for wheelchair patients,demonstrate the feasibility and stability of the sensor system for preventing pressure injuries caused by sitting.
