In this paper, a deep mixture algorithm is developed to support large-scale visual recognition (e.g., recognizing tens of thousands of object classes) by seamlessly combining a set of base deep CNNs (AlexNet) with diverse task spaces, e.g., such base deep CNNs (i.e., diverse experts) are trained to recognize different subsets of tens of thousands of object classes rather than the same set of object classes. Our experimental results have demonstrated that our deep mixture algorithm can achieve very competitive results on large-scale visual recognition.

As a new service paradigm of Software-As-A-Service (SaaS),Business Process-As-A-Service (BPaaS). BPaaS is used to build a cost-effective Business Process Management (BPM) system. Based on universal Artifacts, we develop a framework named SeGA (Self-Guided Artifact). In SeGA, a BPM system is capable of executing business processes from multiple clients, and responding query at runtime. what's more, by the template-based cascading data mapping method, entity to be synchronized with database automatically, so each BP instance can modify its process entity without worrying about the database access. In this paper, we conduct a deep research and implement a prototype system for Artifact process design.

A rapid reentry trajectory planning method for a common aero vehicle (CAV) subject to all path constraints is developed. The reentry trajectory is divided into initial descent phase and quasi-equilibrium glide phase which possesses a majority of the reentry period. An improved quasi-equilibrium glide condition is utilized to convert reentry corridor constraints to the control variable constraints and get a simple relation between the range-to-go and velocity. Accordingly the longitudinal reference trajectory is computed through the one-parameter search of bank angle model and the corresponding tracking law is designed using linear quadratic regulator theory. To enhance the maneuvering capability, a geometrical control approach considering no-fly zone constraints is applied to the lateral guidance. Finally, the performance of this method is verified by computer simulation.

In this paper, we present a time-delay approach to gradient-based bounded extremum seeking (ES) with large measurement constant delay, for an unknown single-input static quadratic map. We assume that the extremum point and the Hessian $H$ belong to known intervals, whereas the sign of $H$ is known. We apply a time-delay approach to the bounded ES system and arrive at the neutral type system with a nominal linear delayed system. We present the latter system as a retarded one and employ variation of constants formula for practical stability analysis. Explicit conditions in terms of simple scalar inequalities depending on tuning parameters and delay are established to guarantee the practical stability of the bounded ES control systems. Given any delay and neighborhood of the extremum point and through the solution of the constructed inequalities, we find lower bounds on the dither period that ensures the practical stability.

In this article, we introduce a time-delay approach to gradient-based extremum seeking (ES) in the continuous domain for n-dimensional (nD) static quadratic maps. As in the recently introduced (for 2D maps in the continuous domain), we transform the system to the time-delay one (neutral type system). This system is $\mathbf{O}(\varepsilon)$ . ‘perturbation of the averaged linear ODE system. We further explicitly present the neutral system as the linear ODE, where $\mathrm{O}(\varepsilon)$ -terms are considered as disturbances with distributed delays of the length of the small parameter $\varepsilon$ . Quantitative (for uncertain map) and qualitative (for unknown map) practical stability analyses are provided by employing a variation of constants formula that greatly simplifies the results compared to the previously used Lyapunov-Krasovskii (L-K) method. The new approach also simplifies the conditions and improves the results. Examples from the literature illustrate the efficiency of the new approach, allowing essentially large uncertainty of the Hessian matrix with bounds on $\varepsilon$ that are not too small.

In recent years, the development and deployment of the U.S. weapon equipment systems-of-systems (SoS) have yielded rich research results. However, there are still large gaps in the SoS development, joint testing, and design and acquisition of our own equipment SoS. The barriers of these steps have not yet been opened up. This article mainly analyzes the solutions of the U.S. weapon equipment SoS from three aspects, such as capability-based requirement generation and architecture design technology, interconnected-oriented integration test technology, and weapon equipment design and acquisition technology based on complex adaptive systems. We explore key technologies involved in order to form an overall understanding and explore related research approaches.

In this study, we present a middleware-based approach for detecting anomalies in distributed systems. Our method facilitates the dynamic collection of logs at various levels of detail and incorporates an a priori dictionary-based compression strategy to process and transmit logs, minimizing the performance impact on distributed systems. Additionally, we utilize a dual feature fusion technique to analyze the logs. We evaluate the effectiveness of our approach by performing anomaly detection in a publish/subscribe distributed system and comparing it with existing methods. The results illustrate that our method outperforms other approaches, demonstrating superior performance.

Wireless capsule endoscopy (WCE) can painlessly capture a large number of images inside the intestine. However, only a small portion of these WCE images contain hemorrhage. It is thus critical to develop automated hemorrhage detection method to facilitate the diagnosis of intestinal diseases. However, automated hemorrhage detection is complicated by 1) the extreme imbalance between the amount of hemorrhage images and that of normal images; and 2) the variety of the appearance, texture, and luminance inside the intestine. In this paper, we proposed to learn a robust intestinal hemorrhage detection model via Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), because of CNNs' extraordinary performance in solving various image understanding tasks. Specially, we explored different CNN architectures and data augmentation methods. Besides, we investigated the correlation between hemorrhage detection accuracy and image quality. Across about 1.3k hemorrhage images and 40k normal images, the learned CNN model achieves an F-measure of 98.87%.

A credible mechanism of service about data resource in cloud computing

In order to protect the security of service in cloud computing, we propose a credible mechanism of service for data resource. In the mechanism, we first build a system model and put forward its implementation process. Then, we design an encryption method used in the system model. On this basis, we discuss the function of the third party trusted platform. All of these constitute a credible mechanism of service about data resource in cloud computing. In order to verify the feasibility of the mechanism, a series of experiments have been done. The experimental results show that it is feasible to ensure the security of service about data resource in cloud computing. © 2018, Femto Technique Co., Ltd.

The North American Soil Moisture Database (NASMD) was initiated in 2011 to assemble and homogenize in situ soil moisture measurements from 32 observational networks in the United States and Canada encompassing more than 1800 stations. Although statistical quality control (QC) procedures have been applied in the NASMD, the soil moisture content tends to be systematically underestimated by in situ sensors in frozen soils, and using a single maximum threshold (i.e., 0.6 m3 m-3) may not be sufficient for robust QC because of the diverse soil textures in North America. In this study, based on the in situ soil porosity and North American Land Data Assimilation System phase 2 (NLDAS-2) Noah soil temperature, the simple automated QC method is revised to supplement the existing QC approach. This revised QC method is first validated based on the assessment at 78 of the Soil Climate Analysis Network (SCAN) stations where the manually checked data are available, and is then applied to all stations in the NASMD to produce a more strict quality-controlled dataset. The results show that the revised automated QC procedure can flag the spurious and erroneous soil moisture measurements for the SCAN stations, especially for those located in high altitudes and latitudes. Relative to station measurements in the original NASMD, the quality-controlled data show a slightly better agreement with the manually checked soil moisture content. It should be noted that this quality-controlled dataset may be over-flagged for some valid soil moisture measurements due to potential errors of the soil temperature and soil porosity data, and validation in this study is limited by the availability of benchmark soil moisture data. The updated QC and additional validation will be desirable to boost confidence in the product when high-quality data become available in the future.
