Aiming at the characteristics of multi-stage and(extremely)small samples of the identification problem of key effectiveness indexes of weapon equipment system-of-systems(WESoS),a Bayesian intelligent identification and inference model for system effectiveness assessment indexes based on dynamic grey incidence is *** method uses multi-layer Bayesian techniques,makes full use of historical statistics and empirical information,and determines the Bayesian estima-tion of the incidence degree of indexes,which effectively solves the difficulties of small sample size of effectiveness indexes and difficulty in obtaining incidence rules between ***-ondly,The method quantifies the incidence relationship between evaluation indexes and combat effectiveness based on Bayesian posterior grey incidence,and then identifies key system effec-tiveness evaluation ***,the proposed method is applied to a case of screening key effectiveness indexes of a missile defensive system,and the analysis results show that the proposed method can fuse multi-moment information and extract multi-stage key indexes,and has good data extraction capability in the case of small samples.

Coevolution of Opinion Dynamics and Recommendation System: modeling Analysis and Reinforcement Learning Based Manipulation

In this work, we develop an analytical framework that integrates opinion dynamics with a recommendation system. By incorporating elements such as collaborative filtering, we provide a precise characterization of how recommendation systems shape interpersonal interactions and influence opinion formation. Moreover, the property of the coevolution of both opinion dynamics and recommendation systems is also shown. Specifically, the convergence of this coevolutionary system is theoretically proved, and the mechanisms behind filter bubble formation are elucidated. Our analysis of the maximum number of opinion clusters shows how recommendation system parameters affect opinion grouping and polarization. Additionally, we incorporate the influence of propagators into our model and propose a reinforcement learning-based solution. The analysis and the propagation solution are demonstrated in simulation using the Yelp data set. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

This paper addresses the consistency issue of multi-robot distributed cooperative localization. We introduce a consistent distributed cooperative localization algorithm conducting state estimation in a transformed coordinate. The core idea involves a linear time-varying coordinated transformation to render the propagation Jacobian independent of the state and make it suitable for a distributed manner. This transformation is seamlessly integrated into a server-based distributed cooperative localization framework, in which each robot estimates its own state while the server maintains the cross-correlations. The transformation ensures the correct observability property of the entire framework. Moreover, the algorithm accommodates various types of robot-to-robot relative measurements, broadening its applicability. Through simulations and real-world dataset experiments, the proposed algorithm has demonstrated better performance in terms of both consistency and accuracy compared to existing algorithms. With the development of urbanization, the number of residents' motor vehicles has increased sharply, and traffic congestion problem has become increasingly serious. The construction of Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) has become the main means to alleviate traffic congestion. Short-term traffic flow prediction has guiding significance for residents' travel planning and intelligent management of transportation, and has become one of the research hotspots in intelligent transportation ***, A short-term traffic flow prediction method based on the spatio-temporal characteristics of complex road networks is proposed to further improve the prediction accuracy and reduce the prediction cost. Firstly, a graph convolutional network (GCN) capable of processing non-Euclidean data structures is used to extract the spatial characteristics of traffic flow data. Then, the long and short-term memory (LSTM) neural network is used to process the time characteristics. Finally, the two are combined to realize the effective processing of the spatio-temporal characteristics of traffic flow data. Experimental results on the real traffic flow dataset prove the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method, and can provide a basis for intelligent traffic control and smart city construction. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press.

In this work, we consider the physical layer security in short-packet communications, where a full-duplex (FD) receiver receives information signals from a source while generating artificial noise (AN) to confuse an eavesdropper. Taking into account the finite blocklength coding and the self-interference (SI) in FD mode, we derive new approximation closed-form expression for the secrecy throughput. Moreover, we analyze the asymptotic secrecy throughput in two distinct scenarios, i.e., high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) regime and infinite blocklength coding, to gain more insights. Our examination illustrates the correctness of our expressions and shows how the critical system variables affect the secrecy throughput. © 2023 The Authors

Radio frequency energy harvesting offers a promising solution to provide low power Internet of Things (IoT) devices with convenient and perpetual energy supply. In this work, we investigate the reliable performance of an energy-constrained transmitter communicating with a receiver over Nakagami-m channel, where the effects of transceiver hardware impairments and finite blocklength coding are jointly considered. Specifically, the communication link between the transmitter and receiver operates within the coverage of an existing wireless system, with radio frequency signal from the existing system serving as an energy signal for the transmitter while acting as an interference signal for the receiver. By utilizing the finite-blocklength information theory, we first derive average block error rate (BLER) and asymptotic average BLER in closed-form expressions, which enable us to quantify the extent of reliability loss. Then, we analyze effective throughput of the system, and determine the optimal blocklength that maximizes the effective throughput. Computer simulations are employed to validate the accuracy of our analytical findings, demonstrating the presence of an outage threshold solely due to hardware impairments. Furthermore, if transmission rate exceeds the outage threshold defined by the level of hardware impairments, reliable communication within the system under consideration cannot be achieved, regardless of the transmit signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). © 2024 The Authors

To address the limitations of the FDNA approach, in this paper, we analyze the dependency of the receiver node on the feeder nodes as well as the impact of the node's operability level on the system effectiveness, and improve the FDNA approach. We also propose a computing method for system effectiveness based on an improved FDNA model, and conduct relevant case verification. © 2020 ACM.

Backup control barrier function (Backup CBF) is a tractable formulation that ensure the feasibility of CBF-based quadratic programming (QP) problems through implicitly defined control invariant set. Backup CBF is based on two fundamental ingredients: a known backup set and a fixed backup policy, and the implicitly defined control invariant set is evaluated through forward integration by backup policy in a finite horizon online. However, there is a lack of systematic methods for providing the backup set and backup policy for a system with input constraints, making it difficult to synthesize a backup CBF. In this paper, we propose a method for second-order systems to obtain backup policy and backup set practically, rather than empirical choice, by constructing a more conservative explicit CBF-QP with auxiliary velocity constraints integrated. The proposed method warms up a backup CBF by an explicit conservative CBF-QP under mild assumptions, while without excessive conservatism, allowing the tasks of safety and feasibility to be guaranteed theoretically. We demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method in simulation. © 2024 IEEE.

In modern multi-core system, memory is shared among more and more concurrently running threads. Therefore, memory contention and interference is more and more seriously which induces performance degradation unevenly, unfairness resource sharing and priority inversion even starvation. In this paper, we first analyze the problems induced by contention and interference in detail, and then, propose pseudo share framework which brings shared memory to exclusive in multi-core system. The pseudo share framework contains three steps: 1) Partition threads and memory into thread and memory groups respectively, each thread group runs on one core occupying one memory group, 2) Analyze the performance influence after memory shared for each thread, 3) According to performance influence of parallel running threads, allocate memory bandwidth for each thread. We implement pseudo share in 4-core and 8-core platforms. Experimental results show pseudo share optimizes both problems of performance degradation differently and unfairness resource sharing in both 4-core and 8-core. Moreover, pseudo share solves starvation and reduces 5.3% power on average.

In Mobile Opportunistic Networks, there are special cases of multicast in which destinations (except the total number) are not predetermined. E.g., a person tries to find another three players to play poker without knowing them. Achieving efficient data routing in this scenario (target any k destinations among m of them) can be very challenge due to (1) no predetermined destinations, (2) extra delay cost by the destinations collision, and (3) difficulty of the receiver quantity control. We define this as a K-Anycast problem, the goal is to route copies of the message to any k destinations with the shortest average delay. In this paper, we first propose a matching method to solve the problem in a centralized way. We then bring forward a layered hierarchical structure where nodes are organized according to their degree of activities. Based on the structure, two routing algorithms are proposed where K-Cast initializes exactly k copies of the message without replication in the middle, K-Epidemic performs epidemic routing only in a controlled range. Both algorithms will first forward copies upwards along the structure and then downwards to the destinations. Experiments on real data trace show that the proposed algorithms achieve much better delay, delivery ratio and lower forwarding numbers.
