The article uses LabView to develop a fault diagnosis system for wind power planetary transmissions. First, use LabView software to create a signal acquisition system. Then, the built wind turbine planetary transmission experiment platform was combined with the NI9171 data acquisition card and the upper computer. The hysteresis brake was used in the laboratory to simulate the external wind environment, and the planetary gear transmission planetary gear crack fault diagnosis and testing experiments were performed. The frequency domain signal is obtained from the initial time domain signal obtained by the experiment through the EMD and envelope demodulation method. The frequency of the corresponding planetary gear crack in the frequency domain signal is compared with the theoretical calculation of the planetary gear crack failure frequency. The results show that the frequency of the corresponding planetary gear cracks in the frequency domain spectra obtained by the experiment is basically consistent with the theoretical calculation of the frequency of cracks in planetary gears. The fault diagnosis system developed by LabView is reliable. The experiment provides a theoretical basis for fault diagnosis, optimisation design, and life prediction of wind turbine planetary transmissions. © 2019 Institution of Engineering and technology. We present an exact numerical method to calculate the mean first passage time for the random walk on the network between any source node and any target which contains an arbitrary number of *** the network with the average degree~O(1)and the effective diameter D~lnN or less,the efficiency of our numerical approach is found to exceed all other general numerical methods presented in the *** method can also calculate the average of any function of the first passage time,provided it is finite.

In low field NMR multiphase flow measurement, the magnetization time and magnetization length are affected by the two-phase flow velocity and water fraction, so it is difficult to realize the complete magnetization of multiphase flow with fixed length magnet. In this paper, an adaptive magnetization structure for two-phase flow is proposed. The pre-magnetization model of the adaptive structure is established based on the magnetization theory of nuclear magnetic resonance. And parameters of the adaptive magnetization structure are determined by analyzing the influence of two-phase flow parameters such as velocity and water fraction on magnetic susceptibility. Finally, the simulation analysis shows that the adaptive magnetization structure can achieve complete magnetization effect for two-phase flow in the range of water fraction 0-36% and flow rate 0-4.66m/s, which provides the necessary conditions for the accurate measurement of NMR two-phase flow and provides a new idea for the design of NMR two-phase flow measurement sensor. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In the current research, the analysis about the stress and meshing stiffness for the single gear meshing process with two cases came out, which are case without tooth root cracking and with tooth root cracking. First, the solid assemble model for the two cases are set up with Pro/E software. With the format of parosolid, the model is imported into Ansys. In analysis, the contact, loading, and bonging condition are added. Then, computation came out. The results show that the stress in the compression position is greater than that in the tension position during gear engagement, and the stress increases when cracks occur. The research can provide theoretical basis for fault diagnosis to provide spectrum analysis and provide reference for theoretical analysis and meshing stiffness. © 2019 Institution of Engineering and technology. Gait recognition refers to the process of realizing the detection of human identity or health status and other information according to the characteristics of human plantar pressure, video images or human dynamics indicators. With the advantages of non-contact, non-aggression, no need for cooperation and easy to collect, gait recognition technology has been widely used in recent years in the field of public security criminal investigation, medical care, intelligent transportation and other fields. In this study, to meet the needs of gait recognition, IMU sensors are used to acquire human lower limb motion posture data and wavelet transform is used to decompose several components. Then the components were determined and the optimized 1DCNN model is used to carry out gait recognition research. The results showed that the optimized 1DCNN model for gait recognition task exhibits excellent performance with up to 95% accuracy, 96% recall and Fl value, as well as good computational efficiency, which is valuable for clinical automatic gait recognition analysis, rehabilitation engineering and criminal investigation work. Although there are some errors in some gait classifications, our study provides directions for further optimization of the algorithm to improve the accuracy and robustness of gait recognition. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2024.

This study investigates the use of the Vicsek model for maintaining autonomous intervals in the cooperative flight of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Although the Vicsek model effectively simulates group movement, it does not inherently maintain safe intervals between drones. To address this limitation, we propose an enhanced approach that incorporates a speed adaptive mechanism and a repulsive force mechanism. The speed adaptive mechanism dynamically adjusts the drone's speed based on its proximity to neighboring drones, slowing down when in close proximity and speeding up when further apart, thus preventing collisions. Additionally, the repulsive force mechanism ensures that drones maintain a safe distance from each other, even in high-density areas, thereby avoiding clustering and maintaining formation stability. Our simulation results indicate that drones equipped with these mechanisms achieve direction and speed consistency more rapidly, effectively avoid collisions in dense environments, and enhance overall movement speed and task execution efficiency. This approach provides a robust solution for autonomous interval maintenance in UAV swarms, ensuring safe and efficient collaborative operations in complex environments. The findings of this study contribute significantly to the field of UAV collaborative flight, offering practical implications for military reconnaissance, agricultural management, logistics, and disaster relief applications. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2024.

Dongba hieroglyphs are the only living hieroglyphs in the world today and are still used by people. The various ritual activities in Dongba culture are passed down through the Dongba hieroglyphs in the form of books. In view of the current classification and preservation of Dongba ancient books, it is a matter of labour-intensive time for translation, cataloguing, integration, and classification, so combining the methods of convolutional neural networks (CNN), an intelligent classification model is established to directly identify and classify ancient images. As the structure of the CNN has a great influence on the final recognition accuracy, a network structure that is most suitable for image recognition of Dongba ancient books is proposed. Experiments are performed on the Dongba image base established by myself and the result proves that the feasibility and effectiveness of this method. © 2019 Institution of Engineering and technology. In recent years, with the increase in vehicle volume, the traffic system has been inconvenienced. Therefore, the timeliness and accuracy of traffic flow prediction are crucial to the overall efficiency of the traffic system. Echo state network (ESN) has attracted extensive attention in the field of time series and traffic flow prediction due to its simple concept, low computational cost and simplicity. However, the traditional ESN model has certain limitations in terms of prediction accuracy and stability when facing complex and changeable traffic flow data. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes an ESN prediction model combined with adaptive optimization. The simulated annealing algorithm is used to optimize the configuration of several important parameters of ESN, thereby improving the prediction performance and stability of the model. The experimental results show that the optimized ESN model is significantly better than the traditional ESN method in terms of prediction accuracy and stability. The monthly mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) is reduced from 10.05% to 6.6%, and the average error of each detector is reduced from 9.5% to 6.61%. This study proposes a more efficient and reliable method for short-term traffic flow prediction, which shows potential value in practical applications. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2024.

As the space environment of information transmission becomes more and more complex, the accuracy of communication becomes a new challenge. In order to study the anti-jamming performance of code shift keying (CSK), this paper mainly simulates the performance of CSK and binary phase shift keying (BPSK) under 5 signal interferences, and discusses it according to the bit error rates (BER) obtained by simulation. In the face of different forms of signal interference, CSK has better anti-jamming performance than BPSK. Under various forms of signal interference, CSK has the strongest anti-interference ability to multi-tone interference, and its anti-interference ability to pulse interference, 50% narrowband interference, single-tone interference and channel noise decreases successively. © 2022 IEEE.
