Since markov chain is widely used in various fields, the relevant literatures of markov chain theories are analyzed base on CiteSpace in this paper, adopting 10,000 literatures in CNKI and 10,000 literatures in WOS as datas. The relationship among markov chain, monte carlo integral and bayesian theory is analyzed primarily. What's more, the hidden markov model, markov random field, markov decision process and grey-markov model derived from markov chain are investigated emphatically. Ultimately, we reviews the development history of markov chain, makes a visual analysis of the authors, sorts out the research status of markov chain, and makes a comprehensive review of the application of markov chain. © 2019 Association for Computing Machinery. In coal mine goafs, spontaneous coal combustion disaster is a heating process caused by coal oxidation. Many experiments have investigated the variation of coal oxidation characteristics under different inert conditions;however, the time precondition of the inert conditions is usually ignored. In this study, a porous material adsorbed with CO2 is mixed with coal for the oxidative heating experiment to investigate its full influence on the coal oxidation characteristics. The experimental results show that CO2 proactively desorbs from the porous material at a small increase in temperature. In the mixture sample, the CO2 concentration increases sharply to 57080 ppm around 80 ∼ 90 °C, and the crossing point temperature moves to the high-temperature region with a maximum delay of 26.3 %, significantly slowing down the oxidation process of the coal. In addition, the composite decision index of the mixture sample increases by a maximum of 10.91 %, and the spontaneous combustion tendency of the coal changes from “Spontaneous combustion” to “Non-prone to spontaneous combustion”, essentially decreasing the spontaneous coal combustion capacity. The temperature-driven CO2 desorption from the porous material dilutes the oxygen concentration to hinder the coal-oxygen composite reaction from the very beginning of coal oxidation process, presenting an advanced and efficient preventive effect.

Experimental study on the energy absorption characteristics of viscoelastic damping layers

This work aims to further promote the research and development of flexible damping technology for the seismic damage control of underground engineering structures. On the basis of the understanding of the application of viscoelastic damping theory to the field of earthquake resistance of bridge buildings, impact tests on different rock damping layer– concrete specimens are conducted using the improved split Hopkinson pressure bar test system to analyze the energy absorption characteristics of the viscoelastic damping layers. A comparative analysis of the test results is also performed to differentiate the laws of energy absorption of the viscoelastic damping layer structure using different damping layer materials (rubber and silicone) and different damping layer shapes (honeycomb, corrugated, and cylindrical). Given damping layers with the same material and structure, the energy absorption laws of the structures with different damping layer thicknesses are compared and analyzed. The optimal thickness of the damping layers is also discussed. Results show that the incident energy absorbed by the damping layers of different materials increases by more than 10% relative to the control group (rock–concrete specimen). Such an increase indicates that the structures have superior energy absorption characteristics and that the rubber material can absorb more incident energy than the high-damping silicone as the damping layer. As for the damping layer shapes, the composite damping layer structure with a honeycomb shape achieves the best energy absorption among all structures. The comparison and analysis of the energy absorption effects when the damping layer thicknesses are 10, 20, and 25 mm reveal that a 20 mm-thick damping layer shows the best energy absorption effect. The current findings can provide theoretical foundation and data support for the application of composite damping layers to the seismic design of underground engineering structures.

Study on the Sensitive Factors of Structural Nonlinear Damage Based on the Innovation Series

Constructing a damage-sensitive factor (DSF) is one of the key steps in structural damage detection. In this paper, innovation series extracted from the auto-regressive conditional heteroscedasticity (ARCH) model are proposed to construct a DSF, which is defined as the standard deviation of innovation (SDI). A three-story shear building structure is used to demonstrate and verify the performance of the proposed method, and the results are compared with the standard deviation of the residuals (SDR) based on an auto-regressive (AR) model. In the proposed method, the AR model is established using the acceleration responses obtained from the reference and test states. The residual series are then extracted for fitting the SDR. Subsequently, the ARCH model is constructed based on the residual series from the AR model, and a new DSF of SDI is defined. This study focuses on analyzing the accuracy of fitting AR model and ARCH model to vibration response data via the normal probability distribution, and identifying the characteristics of the residual and innovation series. The mean squared error (MSE) is used as the loss function to calculate the loss on residual and innovation series from the AR model and ARCH model, respectively. The results demonstrate that the SDR can be used for nonlinear damage detection. However, the proposed SDI can provide more accurate nonlinear damage identification and is robust to varying environmental condition and small damages. Thus, the innovation series developed based on ARCH model are promising for expressing and constructing nonlinear DSFs.

The interaction between abrasive particles and optical element surface can result in various forms of subsurface damage while removing the material. In order to obtain the stress distribution during optical glass grinding, the finite element analysis of optical glass grinding is carried out by using ANSYS software. The stress distribution of optical glass was obtained by establishing the grinding model of consolidated abrasive and free abrasive. The simulation results show that different abrasives have different damage degrees to the glass surface, which provides a useful reference for improving the quality of optical material processing technology.

Effect of water immersion pressure on oxidation characteristics and spontaneous combustion characteristics of long-flame coal

Coal seam water injection has an obvious effect on coal dust prevention. The high-pressure water environment of coal seam water injection changes the structure of coal which brings new effects on the characteristics of coal spontaneous combustion disaster. To reveal the effects of water immersion pressure on the oxidation characteristics of long-flame coal, coal samples immersed in water at 0.1 MPa, 2.5 MPa, 5.0 MPa, 7.5 MPa and 10.0 MPa were prepared. Four experiments were conducted to study the changes in oxidation characteristics and its main reasons. The results showed that elevated water immersion pressure promoted the spontaneous combustion tendency of coal, and the composite judgment index of coal decreased to 521.1. Coal immersed in pressurized water entered the stages of oxygen-absorbing oxidation and thermal decomposition earlier than coal immersed in atmospheric pressure water. The specific surface area and average pore diameter of coal immersed in high-pressure water increased, where the pore volume proportion of mesopores of the coal immersed in water at 10.0 MPa increased by 138.5 % compared with that of the coal immersed in atmospheric pressure water. The elevated water immersion pressure prompted coal to produce further aliphatic hydrocarbons and hydroxyl groups, which improved the low-temperature oxidation capacity.

Satellites of the Broucke-Hadjidemetriou-Hénon family of periodic unequal-mass three-body orbits

The Broucke-Hadjidemetriou-Hénon’s (BHH) orbits are a family of periodic orbits of the three-body system with the simplest topological free group word a, while the BHH satellites have free group words ak (k > 1), where k is the topological exponent. Janković and Dmitrašinović [Phy. Rev. Lett. 116, 064301 (2016)] reported 57 new BHH satellites with equal mass and found that at a fixed energy the relationship between the angular momentum (L) and the topologically rescaled period (T/k) is the same for both of the BHH orbits (k = 1) and the BHH satellites (k > 1). In this letter, we report 419,743 new BHH orbits (k = 1) and 179,253 new BHH satellites (k > 1) of the three-body system with unequal mass, which have never been reported, to the best of our knowledge. Among these newly-found 598,996 BBH orbits and satellites, about 33.5% (i.e., 200,686) are linearly stable and thus many among them might be observed in practice. Besides, we discover that, for the three-body system with unequal mass at a fixed energy, relationship between the angular momentum (L) and topologically rescaled period (T/k) of the BHH satellites (k > 1) is different from that of the BHH orbits (k = 1). Triple systems are common and key objects in astronomy. The three-body problem has received much more attention in recent years1–3. All observed periodic triple stars systems4–6 belong to the Broucke-Hadjidemetriou-Hénon’s (BHH) family7–9. The BHH orbits are a family of periodic orbits of the three-body system with the simplest topological free group word10 a, while Janković and Dmitrašinović 1 gained 58 equal-mass BHH satellite orbits which have free group words ak (k > 1), where k is the topological exponent. However, the BHH satellite orbits with equal mass is lack of realistic meaning because they do not exist in practice. Here we present 419743 new BHH orbits and 179253 new BHH satellites (k > 1) for three-body system with unequal mass. Especially, 48761 among the 179253 new BHH satellites are stable and have unequal masses. It suggests that these 48761 stable BHH satellites could be found by the observation. Besides, for the three-body system with equal mass at a fixed energy, it was demonstrated that the relationship between the angular momentum (L) and topological scaled period (T/k) of the BHH satellites is the same as that of the BHH orbits1. However, we found that this does not hold for the three-body system with unequal mass. Our findings have broad impact for the astrophysical scenario: they could inspire the theoretical and observational study of the triple system, the formation of triple stars11, the gravitational waves pattern12 and the gravitational waves observation13 of the triple system. © 2020, CC BY.

Residual Stress Analysis of Laser Welding Between Output Needle and Helix

In order to obtain the welding stress of the output needle and helix, a finite element model is established and the mesh at the weld is refined to evaluate the welding residual stress. ANSYS parameter design language is used to simulate the motion load of welding heat source. Based on the exact calculation of the temperature field, the corresponding thermal units are converted into structural units to calculate the welding residual stress. Finally, the thermal stress distribution curve and residual stress distribution trend are obtained after post-treatment.

Analysis of the Effect of Substitution Rate on the Mechanical Properties of Recycled Concrete Hollow Block

In this paper, to study the compressive and flexural properties of recycled concrete hollow blocks, the quality substitution rate of recycled fine aggregates is taken as a variable parameter, and four kinds of substitution rates are designed, which are 0%, 30%, 60%, and 100%. At the same time, one kind of recycled coarse and fine aggregates is designed, and the quality substitution rate is 100%. 110 specimens of MU10 and MU7.5 strength grades are tested for compressive and flexural strength. The failure process and morphology of the specimens are observed to obtain compressive and flexural strength. Based on the test data, the relationship between compressive and flexural strength of recycled fine aggregates with different replacement ratios is analyzed in detail. The main findings are that experiment results show the compressive and flexural strength decrease with the increase of substitution rate of recycled fine aggregates under the same other conditions. The work of the paper is a new reform for the source of raw materials for wall materials, and it is a new way for the reuse of concrete garbage and has important environmental protection significance and engineering practical significance for building energy saving.
