Knowledge Graph (KG) is an essential research direction that involves storing and managing knowledge data, but its incompleteness and sparsity hinder its development in various applications. Knowledge Graph Reasoning (KGR) is an effective method to solve this limitation via reasoning missing knowledge based on existing knowledge. The graph Convolution Network (GCN) based method is one of the state-of-the-art approaches to this work. However, there are still some problems, such as the insufficient ability to perceive graph structure and the poor effect of learning data features which may limit the reasoning accuracy. This paper proposes a KGR architecture based on a graph sequence generator and multi-head self-attention mechanism, named GaM-KGR, to improve the above problems and enhance prediction accuracy. Specifically, the GaM-KGR first introduces the graph generation model into the field of KGR for graph representation learning to obtain the hidden features in the data so that enhancing the reasoning effect and then embeds the generated graph sequence into the multi-head self-attention mechanism for subsequent processing to improve the graph structure perception ability of the proposed architecture, so that it can process the graph structure data more appropriately. Extensive experimental results show that the GaM-KGR architecture can achieve the state-of-the-art prediction results of current GCN-based models.

Cloud storage services have been used by most businesses and individual users. However, data loss, service interruptions and cyber attacks often lead to cloud storage services not being provided properly, and these incidents have caused financial losses to users. Second, traditional and single-cloud model disaster recovery services are no longer suitable for the current complex cloud storage systems. Therefore, a scheme to provide disaster recovery for cloud storage services in a multi-cloud storage environment is needed in real production. In this paper, we propose a disaster recovery scheme based on blockchain technology. The proposed scheme outlined in this study aims to address the issue of data availability within the cloud storage landscape. The proposed scheme achieves this goal by dividing data into hot and cold categories, verifying the integrity of copy data via blockchain technology, and utilizing blockchain networks to manage multi-cloud storage systems. Experimental findings demonstrate that the proposed scheme yields superior results in terms of computation and time overheads.

Intellectual property transactions have shown a strong growth momentum in recent years, but the patent transaction market has been plagued by the matching degree of consumers and sellers, resulting in frequent problems such as low patent transformation efficiency and poor transaction quality. This paper proposes a method of recommending patents to consumers by experts to improve the environment of patent transactions. Through the analysis of the past transaction information of the patent, the effective path information of the target is extracted. The graph neural network is used to describe the characteristics and semantics among experts, patents and consumers, and then capture the potential weight among them through the common attention mechanism, and then dynamically integrate them to predict the occurrence of recommendation behavior. The paper makes reasonable use of social information and expert information in the transaction, which significantly improves the rationality and accuracy of expert recommendation.

In a multi-cloud storage system, provenance data records all operations and ownership during its lifecycle, which is critical for data security and audibility. However, recording provenance data also poses some challenging security and storage issues. In this paper, we present a secure and efficient multi-cloud storage data source scheme, BMDP. We use blockchain technology to ensure the secure storage of provenance data and design a smart contract to utilize the provenance data to ensure the proper operation of the multi-cloud storage system. Finally, we analyze the scheme’s safety and do simulation experiments to show that the scheme has practicality.

As the largest source of technical information around the world, patents are regarded as an essential crystallization and carrier of knowledge and technological innovation. Patent transformation is conducive not only to enhancing economic efficiency, but also to improving productivity and the rational utilization of resources. There is an imbalance between high patent ownership and low transformation rates. We try to predict the occurrence of transformation events from the patent assignment. However, there are some challenges in predicting patent transformation: (1) how to capture transformation features of patents, especially combined with the transfer time factor. (2) how to predict patent transfer time effectively. To address these challenges, a Patent Transfer Time Forecasting Model (PTTFM) is proposed. The model includes: (1) extraction of time-varying features of patents. (2) the patent transfer time is forecast using a Neural Temporal Point Process. By testing the model on patents under different classifications, the experimental results are obtained to show that the proposed model is applicable to predict the timing of patent assignment within a certain time frame, especially one month. Our work may facilitate patent transformation while interpretability is ensured for transformation events.

A Hybrid Framework for Spatial Interpolation: Merging data-driven with Domain Knowledge

Estimating spatially distributed information through the interpolation of scattered observation datasets often overlooks the critical role of domain knowledge in understanding spatial dependencies. Additionally, the features of these datasets are typically limited to the spatial coordinates of the scattered observation locations. In this paper, we propose a hybrid framework that integrates data-driven spatial dependency feature extraction with rule-assisted spatial dependency function mapping to augment domain knowledge. We demonstrate the superior performance of our framework in two comparative application scenarios, highlighting its ability to capture more localized spatial features in the reconstructed distribution fields. Furthermore, we underscore its potential to enhance nonlinear estimation capabilities through the application of transformed fuzzy rules and to quantify the inherent uncertainties associated with the observation datasets. Our framework introduces an innovative approach to spatial information estimation by synergistically combining observational data with rule-assisted domain knowledge. © 2024, CC BY.

Meta-heuristic evolutionary algorithms have been widely used in global optimization problems. Still, the global optimization of meta-heuristic evolutionary algorithms relies on a large number of frequent fitness evaluations, which hinders their application in expensive and time-consuming real-world issues. For example, in a large-scale transportation network, due to the large search space and high computational complexity, the performance of the algorithm is degraded. After years of research, many scholars have proposed the idea of using the Surrogate-assisted model to reduce the number of real evaluations for expensive problems and solve the time-consuming global optimization problem in reality. To solve the high-dimensional and time-consuming problem, in reality, a two-layer Surrogate-assisted Fish Migration Optimization (SA-FMO) is proposed. The global surrogate-assisted model is an accurate fit for the entire search space. The local surrogate-assisted model is to capture the topographic details near the current optimal solution position and improves the accuracy estimation of local optimization. In order to verify the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm, this paper first tests six benchmark functions in 50 dimensions. Finally, The optimization of long and short routes in urban rail transit, also known as the Train Routing Optimization problem, is modeled and optimized using the SA-FMO algorithm to improve operational efficiency and accelerate vehicle turnover in the case of unbalanced passenger flow distribution in urban rail transit interruption surfaces. © 2022, The Authors. In recent years, surrogate-assisted evolutionary algorithms have become increasingly popular for solving expensive and time-consuming single-objective and multi-objective problems. However, in multi-objective optimization, the Pareto non-dominated solution set space can quickly become computationally intractable, making it challenging to select which samples to evaluate using the expensive fitness function. In this paper, we propose a novel surrogate-assist QUasi-Affine TRansformation Evolutionary algorithm (SA-QUATRE/MO) for solving multi-objective optimization problems. The SA-QUATRE/MO algorithm uses a radial basis neural network as a surrogate model to improve the speed of the algorithm operation by replacing the expensive fitness evaluation with the surrogate model. To ensure the excellence and diversity of the selected samples while keeping the archived sample space fixed, we propose a technique called Vector Space Sampling, which samples objective points in the current set of non-dominated solutions by dividing several sub-vector spaces. Additionally, we propose an uncertain sample infilling strategy to select samples for real fitness evaluation using a designed uncertainty function. We compare the SA-QUATRE/MO algorithm with three state-of-the-art algorithms for multi-objective problems in the DTLZ, MaF, and ZDT test function suites. Finally, we apply the SA-QUATRE/MO algorithm to solve the optimization problem of the empty train deployment at the loading end of a heavy-haul railway. We build a model based on the S12 section of a certain railway and optimize it using the SA-QUATRE/MO algorithm, demonstrating the effectiveness and practicality of our proposed approach. © 2023, The Authors. Named Entity Recognition (NER) is one of the contents of Knowledge Extraction (KE) that transforms data into knowledge representation. However, Chinese NER faces the problem of lacking clear word boundaries that limit the effectiveness of the KE. Although the flat lattice Transformer (FLAT) framework, which converts lattice structure into a flat structure including a set of spans, can effectively improve this problem and obtain advanced results, there still exist the problems of insensitivity to entity importance weights and insufficient feature learning. This paper proposes a weighted flat lattice Transformer architecture for Chinese NER, namely WFLAT. The WFLAT first adds a weight matrix into self-attention calculation, which can obtain finer-grained partitioning of entities to improve experimental performance, and then adopts a multi-layer Transformer encoder with each layer using a multi-head self-attention mechanism. Extensive experimental results on benchmarks demonstrate that our proposed KE model can obtain state-of-the-art performance for the Chinese NER task.

As medical insurance continues to grow in size, the losses caused by medical insurance fraud cannot be underestimated. Current data mining and predictive techniques have been applied to analyze and explore the health insurance fraud population. However, previous studies only provide summary results and do not show the details of comparative analysis during the visit, resulting in the inability of auditors to quickly identify anomalous behavior. In this paper, we propose a visual analytics system for interactive medical insurance fraud detection to support the exploration and interpretation of different access processes. We propose a weighted MinDL to improve the accuracy of visit pattern classification in the time-series modeling process, and design a data analysis model and visual analysis view based on medical insurance fraud characteristics to reveal and explore the characteristics of medical insurance fraud groups. We collaborate with related organizations to design and implement an interactive visualization for medical insurance fraud group detection using real Medicare data and expert interviews The system is effective and practical in detecting and analyzing medical insurance fraud syndicates. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
