Lithium-ion battery is playing an increasingly important role as an energy storage system in today's power systems. Pre-heating of the Lithium-ion is significant for the operation safety and state of health, when the operation temperature is really low. This paper analyzes the impedance model of Lithium-ion batteries, selects the frequency of pure ohmic resistance as the frequency of the AC heating current, and proposes a method for self-heating the AC current generated by the Multi-Active-Bridge (MAB) converter. Finally, a 4-port MAB converter is established to verify the above self-heating mechanism.

Hang's mudding-off technique is a well control measure used to maintain the dynamic balance of the pressure inside a well and thus ensure safe operation when there is circulation loss in the return. Given the lack of a dynamic analysis method that reflects the principles of annulus liquid level changes in a well shaft, there has been no analytical basis for applying Hang's mudding-off technique in practice, and as a result, the technique is typically applied as a "blind Hang". In this study, a dynamic analysis method was employed to model well shaft leakage loss, based on actual engineering conditions under which Hang's mudding-off technique is used, and models were developed for the effective height of the well shaft annulus liquid level in Hang's mudding-off technique and for a safe operation time after the application of the technique. The calculation of variations in the cross-sectional area of the annulus was also addressed. The reliability of the proposed models was evaluated using calculation examples. The error in the calculated effective liquid level height was 1.22% when dynamic leakage loss was considered, and the error in the safe operation time calculation was 3.58%. These results illustrate the accuracy of the models. The analysis method proposed in this paper can be used to solve problems related to calculation of the engineering parameters involved in Hang's mudding-off technique and averting the risks of well control safety under conditions of circulation loss in the return, thereby optimising Hang's mudding-off technique and reducing project costs. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2020.

As the key load transfer component of high-speed train, axle-box bearing plays important role of load bearing, wear reducing and resistance. At present, it is a very effective method to monitor the bearing state by monitoring the vibration signal of the train axle-box online and adopting relevant methods. In this paper, a method of bearing fault diagnosis based on the combination of pre-whitening of cepstrum editing procedure (CEP) and envelope demodulation is proposed. The cepstrum pre-whitening can eliminate the periodic vibration component of the bearing vibration signal, extract the non-stationary impact vibration response of the bearing vibration signal containing noise, and analyze the envelope of the bearing vibration signal after pre-whitening to enhance the fault characteristic component in the case of the unknown optimal resonant frequency band. Through the data analysis and verification of the actual vehicle test-bed, this method can effectively diagnose the axle-box bearing fault, especially for the bearing inner ring and outer ring fault diagnosis.

Aiming at the problems of random loss and fragment loss of monitoring data during the perception and transmission process, a virtual data service method based on autoregressive model optimized by particle filter is proposed. Firstly, the construction of autoregressive model for monitoring data is studied. The historical data are used to estimate the model parameters, and the virtual data are generated by model extrapolating to recover the missing data. Secondly, aiming at the problem that autoregressive model cannot adapt to the change of data trend caused by the state evolution of the monitored equipment, the particle filter is used to optimize the model parameters to improve the adaptability and accuracy of virtual data estimation. Finally, the simulating analysis and experimental results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

During the spontaneous solid-state fermentation of Moutai Daqu, three types of Daqu could be formatted, which are named as white Daqu, yellow Daqu, and black Daqu. up to now, it is still unclear what the differences among them. Therefore, in the present study, the amplified sequencing and metabolomics techniques were applied, and results showed that Kroppenstedtia and Bacillus were identified as the main microorganisms of yellow and white Daqu, while Oceanbacillus and Scopulibacillus were of black Daqu. Further exploration revealed that white and black Daqu played important roles in the liquefaction and saccharification processes. The metabolomics results showed that yellow and black Daqu contained more upregulated amino acids and fatty acids and more significant effects on Baijiu flavor and functional activity. In summary, the present study further revealed the compositions and functions of three types of Daqu and might provide theoretical data for improving the production quality of Moutai Daqu. © 2024, The Authors. Fucosylated chondroitin sulfate (FCS) polysaccharide isolated from sea cucumber has potent anticoagulant activity. Based on its resistance to the enzymes present in vertebrates, it may serve as an anticoagulant and shows antithrombotic effects when delivered through gastro-resistant (GR) tablets. However, due to the multiple plasma targets of FCS polysaccharide in the coagulation pathway, bleeding can occur after its oral administration. In the current study, we used FCS oligomers, in particular a mixture of oligosaccharides having 6 to 18 saccharide units, as the active ingredient in GR microcapsules for oral anticoagulation. In a Caco-2 model, the FCS oligomers showed higher absorption than native FCS polysaccharides. Oral administration of FCS oligomer-GR microcapsules provided a dose-dependent, prolonged anticoagulant effect with a selective inhibition of the intrinsic coagulation pathway when compared with

For indoor visible light communications (VLC), the receivers are usually set to be fixed ones in previous studies. However, the locations and orientations of receivers are affected by random factors in practical VLC systems. In this paper, the performance of VLC with random receivers is investigated. We consider an VLC system, which consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The main noise is additive white Gaussian noise. Two random factors (i.e., random location and random orientation) of the receiver are considered. Based on the established system model, closed-form expressions of the average channel capacity for systems with random location and random orientation are derived, respectively. Numerical results verify the accuracy of the derived theoretical expressions. Moreover, the impacts of the nominal optical intensity, the dimming target, the transmitter height and the Lambertian emission order on system performance are also discussed.

In this study, we investigated how different proportions blends of RG-I pectic polysaccharides and hesperidin impact the gut microbiota and metabolites using an in vitro simulated digestion and fermentation model. The results indicated that both of them could modulate the gut microbiota and produce beneficial metabolites. However, their blends in particular proportions exhibited remarkable synergistic effects on modulating the intestinal microenvironment, surpassing the effects observed with individual components. Specifically, these blends could enhance acidogenic potential, increase short-chain fatty acids production, improve hesperidin bioavailability, and promote microbial diversity. This synergistic and additive effect was inseparable from the role of gut microbiota. Certain beneficial bacteria, such as Blautia, Faecalibacterium, and Prevotella, exhibited strong preferences for those blends, thereby contributing to host health through participating in carbohydrate and flavonoid metabolism. © 2024, The Authors.
