The liquid phase exfoliation (LPE) technique presents significant advantages and potential for the large-scale production of high-quality graphene nanosheets with minimal defects. Nevertheless, the Hansen solubility parameters and surface tension matched principle were limited the range of suitable solvents for LPE process. As a result, commonly employed solvents such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) and N, N-Dimethylformamide (DMF) exhibit low viscosity, leading to a low transmission efficiency of shear force from solvent to graphite, resulting in inadequate shear force and low exfoliation efficiency. In this work, to break through limitations of existing solvent systems, we investigate the influence of viscosity on the LPE efficiency in various pyrrolidone solvents, which share similar structures with NMP but have longer molecular chains and higher viscosity. When compared to the NMP system, the concentration of GNs in the N-octyl-2-pyrrolidone (NOP) suspension system exhibits a significant increase of approximately 70%, which primarily attributed to the higher intermolecular and interfacial interactions in NOP suspension. More interestingly, the interactions could be further intensified by reducing the operating temperature in the NOP suspension system, which leading to an about 150% improvement in LPE efficiency when compared to the NMP system at standard temperature. Given the remarkable conductivity of GNs, the prepared CNF/GNs composite film exhibits lightweight and efficient electromagnetic shielding performance of 2.4×104 dB cm2 *** work is expected to establish a universal and efficient pathway for the economical and high-yield production of GNs, elucidating the microscopic mechanism by which molecular conformation at the solid-liquid interface influences the transfer of shear forces from solvent to graphite, thereby promoting the development of widespread applications of GNs ang other two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials. © 2023, The Authors. Aiming at the problem of increasing packet loss rate and decreasing throughput caused by the characteristics of high data burst and high channel error rate in the AOS space communication system, this paper considers the factors of queue packet loss and transmission error packet loss and proposes an adaptive modulation coding method based on minimum packet loss rate in the AOS communication system. Firstly, a system packet loss objective function is established, and the modulation coding mode can be determined by solving the objective function minimum. Secondly, the modulation coding mode is dynamically adjusted according to certain rules, determined by the channel state and the queue state jointly. Finally, the system packet loss rate is reduced and the transmission performance of the system is improved. The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that compared with the SLBCCQ method, this method can reduce the system packet loss rate by up to 30%. Meanwhile, compared with the AMC algorithm, it can reduce the system packet loss rate by 41.7%. © 2019 Totem Publisher, Inc. All rights reserved.

As people come into contact with image data more often, high quality and clear images attract more attention. Many methods have been proposed to deal with image noise problem including deep learning (DL). However most of them is lack of capability when customers want more perceptual details of the image without information loss. In this paper, a deep residual network based on generative adversarial (GAN) network was proposed to complete the image denoising mission. Firstly, a generative-adversarial network structure based on residual blocks was designed. Secondly, a refined loss function was given to train the GAN network. The well designed loss function can help the generated image to be very close to the clear counterpart (ground truth) while enhancing more details in colours and brightness. Finally, extensive experiments show that our network is not only convincing for images denoising, but also effective for other image process tasks, such as image defogging, medical CT denoising etc., presenting impressive and competitive effects. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Biofilms are a constant concern in the food industry;understanding the effect of environmental conditions on biofilm formation is essential to develop effective control ***,this study was conducted to investigate biofilms formation by Staphylococcus epidermidis under various *** were cultured in nutrient broth containing different carbon source concentrations(0–10 mg/mL)on polystyrene surfaces for 32 h of incubation at 37℃or 55℃,with quantification and enumeration at 8,16,24 and 32 *** developed biofilms under all tested conditions;achieved the highest yield of biofilm biomass at 2.5 mg/mL for all carbon sources at 37℃.The highest efficiency of extracellular polymeric substance(EPS)molecule production occurred under glucose availability in the growth environment,with a higher yield of biomass and a significantly smaller number of metabolically active cells than under other tested conditions.A condensed ball-shaped structure was observed under the lactose ***,biofilms in the presence of maltose showed mainly opaque thick rich colonies,while a compact multilayered-shaped structure was exhibited under both glucose and sucrose *** results contribute to a better understanding of the biofilm formation by *** in order to reduce contamination and recontamination in the food industry.

Aiming at the potential safety hazards of silicon single crystal production enterprises in the process of multi-furnace silicon single crystal production, and considering the maximum power load requirements in actual enterprises, a silicon single crystal production process scheduling model with the goal of minimizing the maximum completion time was established. Based on this model, an adaptive improved particle swarm optimization algorithm (Adaptive GPSO) is proposed to solve it. The algorithm retains the individual optimal value and global optimal value of the particle swarm algorithm, and introduces the crossover operation and mutation operation in the genetic algorithm to improve the new individual generation mechanism. At the same time, it performs dynamic iterative calculations on the mutation probability and crossover probability to avoid the algorithm fall into the local optimum, and improve the diversity and convergence of the algorithm. By solving different scales scheduling problems of silicon single crystal production process, the experiments on real-world data shows that the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

In this study, an in-depth analysis of the microstructure and hardness of 6082 aluminum alloy under a novel solution-forging integrated process is conducted by performing a series of isothermal uniaxial compression tests at various strain rates and aging durations. The results indicate that the highest hardness achieved is 125 HV at peak aging with a forming strain rate of 10 s-1, a 16.1% improvement compared to the conventional T6 forming process. The deformation shortens the subsequent peak aging time from 8 hours in the conventional process to 6 hours. In addition, the composite phases, including short-range disordered B'/U2 phase and composite phase with multiple structures, are also discovered under the condition of a strain rate of 10 s-1 and 6 hours of aging. While, as the strain rate increases, the degree of recrystallization decreases and then the refined grain size increases, accompanied by the increase in dislocation density. For the integrated process, the deformation microstructure inherited to the aging state, including grain morphology and dislocation density, as well as the aging precipitated phase, especially for the formation of composite phase, are the main reasons for the higher hardness after aging than the traditional T6 state. © 2023, The Authors. Effects of ultrasound combined with calcium impregnation on physico-chemical properties and lycopene of cherry tomatoes during storage were studied, and the mechanisms were further elucidated. The handness, color, and lycopene content of cherry tomatoes were determined by texture analyzer, color difference meter and HPLC. Meanwhile, the structure of lycopene was also investigated by nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR). The results showed that ultrasound combined with calcium impregnation treatment could enhance the permeation of Ca2+ into the tissue of cherry tomatoes, which effectively delayed the decline of hardness, inhibited the increment of browning index, weight loss ratio and decay rate, and maintained titratable acid content, and vitamin C content of cherry tomatoes during storage. Compared to control, ultrasound combined with calcium impregnation treatment had no obvious influence on the all-trans lycopene contents. According to results from NMR, ultrasound combined with calcium impregnation treatment inhibited the oxidation of all-trans lycopene, 5-cis-lycopene and 9-cis-lycopene during storage and maintained theirs structural integrity. Ultrasound combined with calcium impregnation technology could effectively maintain the quality of cherry tomatoes. The results provided a theoretical basis for the application of ultrasound combined with calcium impregnation technology in fruit and vegetable preservation. © 2021, Editorial Department of Journal of Food Science and technology. Monosaccharide composition analysis is an essential to characterize the structure and biological activities of complex polysaccharides. However, due to the acid-induced precipitates under the acidic condition, the incomplete hydrolysis is common in monosaccharide analysis of acidic polysaccharides (especially for pectin). The main aim of this paper is to provide an improved method for pectin’s monosaccharide analysis using optimized acid hydrolysis combined with high-performance anion exchange chromatography. Firstly, the acid-induced precipitates of pectin was remitted by reducing the concentration of samples to 0.5mg/mL. Then, the optimized hydrolysis condition was performed at 110 ℃ for 6 h with 2 mol/L TFA. Finally, five acidic polysaccharides from fruits were used to optimize and validate the method and showed the method’s reproducibility and ability to analyze complicated pectic polysaccharides. It suggests that this hydrolysis method could be applied to obtain accurate quantitation of monosaccharide composition analysis for acidic polysaccharides. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

It has been greatly evidenced that sulfur dioxide (SO2) and derivatives are hazardous but their common application in food, especially grape industry, was conditionally allowed. Potential hazards to consumers and the environment could happen upon the control-lost SO2 during grape logistics and storage. Previous knowledges usually focused on the anti-pathogenic effect of SO2, but limited studies efforted on the sulfur (S) absorption, assimilation pattern, and sulfite detoxification, with their relationship to quality alteration on grape (Vitis vinifera L.). In this study investigating a short-term and room-temperatured grape storage under SO2, an estimation model was built to quantify the S flux of various existing forms. Accordingly, the additional accumulated S (0.50−0.86%) in pulps from atmospheric SO2 was considered mainly through rachis transport compared to across skin surfaces. The first quantitative evidence of induced S assimilation under SO2 was also provided. The extra 0.05−0.22% S-containing organics in pulps were assimilated through 8−25% of the extra absorbed S. Besides, sulfite oxidase and reductase (SiO and SiR) participated mainly in sulfite detoxification by oxidation and reduction, being effectively stimulated at multiple levels. And the induced S metabolism associated with enhanced reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging capacity and alleviated senescence contributed to quality maintenance. © 2022, The Authors.
