Long-distance oil and gas pipelines require high-precision safety monitoring systems to prevent failures caused by environmental changes and operational strains. Although Brillouin optical time-domain analysis (BOTDA) systems are widely used for distributed sensing, existing algorithms face challenges in handling multi-peak Brillouin gain spectra (BGS) and high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) requirements. This paper proposes a hybrid intelligent algorithm (GA-ANN-LSSVM) combining a genetic algorithm-optimized artificial neural network (GA-ANN) and least squares support vector machine (LSSVM) to improve BOTDA performance. The algorithm adaptively identifies single/multi-peak BGS and dynamically invokes GA-ANN or LSSVM for Brillouin frequency shift (BFS) extraction. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves temperature and strain measurement errors below 1 °C and 2 με, respectively, with 4.4% higher peak recognition accuracy than conventional algorithms. Additionally, the proposed method reduces the initialization SNR threshold by 5 dB and processing time by 3 seconds, significantly enhancing the practicality of BOTDA in complex pipeline environments.

China has set the goal of controlling the total energy consumption to 6 billion tonnes of standard coal by 2030 in an attempt to avoid an energy crisis. Generally, freight transportation is an energy-intensive industry. controlling the energy consumption of freight transportation is crucial for achieving energy-saving goals in China. In this study, we establish the annual control model for freight transportation structure adjustment from the perspectives of the target year prediction and the intermediate year controlling to control energy consumption in the freight industry. We solve the model and obtain the annual control plan of freight transportation structure adjustment in China (2021-2030). As per the plan, energy consumption will reach its peak in 2029, with 145 million tonnes of standard coal. Lastly, we proposed a series of reasonable policy recommendations. This study will provide a reference for the sustainable development of transportation in China. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Different power sources in Seawater Pumping-Storing/Wind/Solar Hybrid Power Generating System supply power to the island *** order to ensure the reliability of the power supplying and improve the economical efficiency of the island micro-grid system at the same time,the output of each power source in the island micro-grid system needs to be optimized and dispatched according to historical wind power and photo-voltaic *** this paper,the mathematical model of Seawater Pumping-Storing/Wind/Solar Hybrid Power Generating System is established,and the one-time cost,*** the joint system are taken as the objective *** immune particle swarm algorithm is used to figure out the optimal output of each power source in the system after considering the restrictions including power balance of the system,the power constraints of each generator set and the online power of wind power and *** example shows that the optimization result of improved PSO algorithm is better than the original one,and it can also achieve the optimized dispatching of the joint system economically and effectively.

Background: One of the most common manufacturing equipment for polymer product is injection molding machine. In order to ensure the precise, stable and continuous operation of the injection molding machine, the maintenance of the lubrication system must be done well. The stability, reli-ability, rationality and low noise performance of the lubrication system of injection molding machine directly affect the quality of injection products, dimensional accuracy, molding cycle, working environment and maintenance. Objective: The purpose of this study is to introduce the methods of choice, maintenance of lubricating oil for injection molding machine from many literatures and patents in the recent years, such as lubricating oil device, lubricating composite and structure. Methods: An example of the 260M5 automatic injection molding machine is introduced for the inspec-tion and maintenance of the lubrication system including lubricating oil and lubricating grease. Results: To ensure the lubrication of the injection molding machine, it needs to strictly observe the lubrication time and modulus of the injection molding machine. It needs to strictly control the temperature rise of the lubricating oil and select the correct lubricating oil and grease to ensure the lubrication quality. Conclusion: In the operation of the injection molding machine, it is necessary to check that the lubricating oil is sufficient and the lubricating points are working properly. It ensures sufficient lubrication of the injection molding machine and strictly observes the lubrication time and modulus of the injection molding machine. The stored lubricating oil should be sealed well to prevent air pollution. © 2019 Bentham Science Publishers.

Czochralski（Cz） silicon single crystal growth is a dynamic time-varying process with complex physical changes,multi-phase coupling of multiple fields, model uncertainty and large hysteresis and nonlinearity, while mechanistic models based on a large number of assumptions are difficult to be applied practically. In order to establish a stable and reliable model of crystal growth process, this paper proposes a variational modal decomposition--convolutional neural network-long and short-term memory network-extreme learning machine（VMD-CNN-LSTM-ELM） nonlinear hybrid integrated modeling method based on the idea of data-driven modeling to construct a model between heater power and thermal field temperature. The model consists of feature extraction, deep learning network, and optimization algorithm. First, VMD is used to decompose the original data into multiple Intrinsic Mode Function（IMF） from low to high frequencies, preserving the variation characteristics of the signal at different frequencies. Second, for each eigenmode function sequence, CNN feature extraction and LSTM prediction are performed in turn. Then, ELM is used to nonlinearly integrate the prediction results of multiple sequences to obtain the final prediction output. Finally, the simulation experimental results based on industrial data show that the proposed VMD-LSTMELM based thermal field temperature has excellent prediction performance and generalization ability.

Curcumin holds significant potential for physiological efficacy, but its practical application is hindered by its extremely low water solubility. In this study, we just added EGCG to form nanoparticles with curcumin using the self-assembly method, with a particle size of 120-150 nm. UV-Vis analysis and docking simulations indicated π-π stacking between curcumin and EGCG. Curcumin encapsulated with EGCG showed exceptional dispersibility in aqueous solutions, with 90.92% remaining after 60 days. The electrostatic screening effect from the charge imparted to the nanoparticles by EGCG, resulting in increased curcumin retention across varying pH, temperature, and ionic strength.. EGCG also interacts with other hydrophobic polyphenols, such as hesperidin and resveratrol, improving their dispersibility and stability in aqueous system. Leveraging this principle, we created a flavorful beverage combining turmeric extract and green tea. These EGCG-encapsulated nanoparticles hold promise for enhancing curcumin's application in aqueous food systems. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Ultrasonication can alter the structure of proteins and modify their physicochemical properties. However, there was little information concerning the ultrasound-induced protein fibrillation during the specific fibrillation process. In this study, ultrasound with different power densities (2.17, 2.39, 2.65, 3.19, and 3.73 W/mL) was applied to regulate the growth kinetics of the fibrillation process of pea protein isolates (PPI) at the beginning of fibrillation process (t0), the end of lag phase (t0.1) and the end of the exponential phase (t0.9). The morphology, physicochemical and structural properties of PPI, and the corresponding fibrils (PPIF) were investigated. The results showed that ultrasound treatments with power densities of 2.65, 3.19, and 3.73 W/mL at t0 accelerated fibrillation. The decreased hydrodynamic diameter and the higher proportions of β-sheet of PPI after ultrasonication indicated a disassociation of PPI agglomerates and a structure transformation, which may help PPI go through the lag phase. Ultrasound treatment increased the growth rate of PPIF with higher power density at t0.1 (3.73 W/mL) but lower power density at t0.9 (2.17 W/mL), which may be because appropriate ultrasound power broke protein oligomers into fragments as the template for fibril elongation, resulting in decreased hydrodynamic diameters and increased surface hydrophobicity. The morphology of ultrasound treated samples exhibited shorter contour lengths and higher flexibility than that of the control group, revealing the important role of ultrasound in regulating the protein fibrillation process.

Wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technology as an extension of optical networks-on-chip (ONoCs) performance, can be applied to further overcome shortages of low bandwidth and high-power consumption in multiprocessor systems-on-chip. Nevertheless, WDM-based ONoCs (ONoCs_W) can encounter performance degradation and network scalability constraints because of its power loss and intrinsic crosstalk noise, especially the non-linear four-wave mixing crosstalk noise. Here, a formal systematical exploiting for worst-case crosstalk noise and optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) in arbitrary fat-tree-based ONoCs with WDM (FONoCs_W) is proposed. Meanwhile, the worst-case OSNR optical link candidates are identified. To verify the proposed analysis method, FONoCs_W employing an optical turnaround router with WDM (WOTAR) is used for case study. The study results demonstrate that crosstalk noise significantly diminishes OSNR and restricts scalability of FONoCs_W. For instance, when input optical signal power equals 0 dBm in worst case, the average OSNR is −9.47 dB, the mean power of crosstalk noise for eight wavelengths is slightly greater than that of signal when the number of processor cores is 64;when it equals to 128, the average OSNR is −34.37 dB, decreased by 24.90 dB compared with the network with 64 processor cores. © The Institution of engineering and technology 2018

In the wireless power transfer system, the front stage power supply is used to efficiently transfer power to the post-stage circuit. As a bridge connecting the front stage power supply and the rear stage circuit of the wireless power transmission system, power converter network is generally placed behind the inverter so as to achieve output filtering of inverter and stability of output voltage and current. This paper analyses the LCC (inductance-capacitance-capacitance) and LCL (inductance-capacitance-inductance) transform network circuit model, and transmission characteristics of LCC and LCL conversion networks are analysed and compared based on two different circuit topologies. By means of parameter calculation, simulation analysis, and parameter optimisation design, it is concluded that both LCC and LCL networks have different characteristics. The results show that for both LCC and LCL network topologies, when the parameters of network components satisfy certain conditions, they can relatively achieve stable voltage or current output within a certain load range to meet the specific power transmission requirements. © 2019 Institution of engineering and *** right reserved.
