Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains a global challenge, with conventional locoregional therapies like transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) lacking tumor specificity and promoting metastasis and inflammation. Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) offers a tumor-selective ablation strategy but suffers from limited tissue penetration. To overcome this, the FlexiPlasma microcatheter (FPM) is developed, integrating flexible non-metallic microtubes and ring-shaped electrodes for precise CAP delivery to deep tumors. The optimized FPM-generated CAP eliminates cytotoxic UV and ozone while inducing tumor-specific pyroptosis via a ROS/Caspase-8/GSDMC pathway. Gasdermin-C (GSDMC) is highly expressed in liver tumors but absent in normal tissues, ensuring selective targeting with minimal inflammation. FPM is combined with embolic material (EM), PPP@CD hydrogel, enhancing injectability, tumor embolization, and sustained drug release. This FPM-EM strategy potentiates antitumor immunity, particularly CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell responses. These findings establish FPM-EM as a safe, effective, and minimally invasive therapy for HCC, revealing a non-inflammatory pyroptosis mechanism and broadening the potential of CAP-based cancer treatments. The FPM-EM combination offers promising new therapeutic options for HCC, addressing the limitations of TACE. Furthermore, the FPM-EM platform can be extended to the interventional therapy of other tumors and adapted to incorporate various drugs and nano-/micro-materials, highlighting the strong potential for future clinical translation. © 2025 Wiley-VCH GmbH.

In this paper, we first propose a specification approach combining interface automata and Z language. This approach can be used to describe temporal properties and data properties of software components. A branching time logic for ZIAs is presented. We then give an algorithm for model checking this logic on ZIAs with finite domain. Furthermore, we present a mu-calculus logic for ZIAs, and give a model checking algorithm for this logic.

This paper studies the task assignment problem of a multi-robot system with complex constraints including the robot speed limit, the task execution time window constraints, the arrival time, the trip cost, and different priorities of the tasks. A new bidding function is then designed for each robot. Based on the k-means algorithm, a hierarchy-based extended consensus-based bundle algorithm (CBBA) is proposed to find the optimal solution for the task allocation problem. Finally, simulation examples are presented to show the feasibility of the proposed algorithm and comparisons with existing algorithms show that the proposed algorithm can reduce the task assignment time with guaranteed reward values. © 2022 IEEE.

In recent years, machine learning potentials (MLPs) have become indispensable tools in physics, chemistry, and materials science, driving the development of software packages for molecular dynamics (MD) simulations and related applications. These packages, typically built on specific machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX, face integration challenges when advanced applications demand communication across different frameworks. The previous TensorFlow-based implementation of DeePMD-kit exemplified these limitations. In this work, we introduce DeePMD-kit version 3, a significant update featuring a multi-backend framework that supports TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, and PaddlePaddle backends, and demonstrate the versatility of this architecture through the integration of other MLPs packages and of Differentiable Molecular Force Field. This architecture allows seamless backend switching with minimal modifications, enabling users and developers to integrate DeePMD-kit with other packages using different machine learning frameworks. This innovation facilitates the development of more complex and interoperable workflows, paving the way for broader applications of MLPs in scientific research. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. Alleviation of Cadmium Toxicity to Medicago Truncatula by AMF Involves the Changes of Cd Speciation in Rhizosphere Soil and Subcellular Distribution

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)can improve plant tolerance to several abiotic stresses,including heavy metals,drought or salinity ***,the role of AMF in alleviation of soil cadmium(Cd)-induced toxicity to plants is still largely *** this study,Cd speciation in soil and subcellular distribution of Cd were used to characterize the roles of application AM fungi in the alleviation of Cd toxicity in alfalfa *** results showed that the addition of Glomus mosseae in Cd contaminated soil(10 mg/Kg)significantly increased soil pH,cation exchange capacity(CEC)and organic matter in rhizosphere soil with Medicago truncatula L.,and then account for significantly decreased contents of exchangeable and carbonate-bounded Cd speciation in rhizosphere soil,indicating alleviation of plant toxicity by reduction of bioavailable fractions of *** there is no significant difference found in Cd accumulation by roots and shoots respectively between Cd and AM-Cd treatments,more portion of Cd was recorded compartmentalization in cell wall fraction of both root and shoot in treatment of Cd with AM application,indicating alleviation of Cd toxicity to plant ***,application of AM fungi in Cd treatments performed to inhibit the appearance of Cd toxicity symptoms,including the improvement of leaf electrolyte leakage,root elongation,seedling growth and *** information provides a clearer understanding of detoxification strategy of AM fungi on Cd behavior with development and stabilization of soil structure and subcellular distribution of plant.

MOS-based model of four-transistor CMOS image sensor pixels for photoelectric simulation

By using the MOS-based model established in this paper, the physical process of photoelectron generation, transfer,and storage in the four-transistor active pixel sensor(4 T-APS) pixels can be simulated in SPICE environment. The variable capacitance characteristics of double junctions in pinned photodiodes(PPDs) and the threshold voltage difference formed by channel nonuniform doping in transfer gates(TGs) are considered with this model. The charge transfer process of photogenerated electrons from PPDs to the floating diffusion(FD) is analyzed, and the function of nonuniform doping of TGs in suppressing charge injection back to PPDs is represented with the model. The optical and electrical characteristics of all devices in the pixel are effectively combined with the model. Moreover, the charge transfer efficiency and the voltage variation in PPD can be described with the model. Compared with the hybrid simulation in TCAD and the Verilog-A simulation in SPICE, this model has higher simulation efficiency and accuracy, respectively. The effectiveness of the MOS-based model is experimentally verified in a 3 μm test pixel designed in 0.11 μm CIS process.

Integrated Modular avionics (IMA) is the latest generation of avionics systems, with a high level of integration and modularity that make more integrated functions and more sharing of resources. Software product line engineering (SPLE) approaches can reduce the cost associated with developing complex systems like IMA and obtain More IMA configurations which meet user requirements. Feature selection of the feature model resulting from the domain modeling is a key step in obtaining the functionality needed and the characteristics of the user. Due to the high safety requirements of the IMA system, various resident applications need to be provisioned at development time to meet various safety constraints, which makes the feature selection process need to consider the IMA resource configuration constraints. In this paper, by extending the feature model, the feature model can express the information of the software mapping in the IMA resource configuration. We also used the multi-objective genetic algorithm to optimize the functional and non-functional requirements. Moreover, experiments are carried out on different scale models to verify the effectiveness of the method. © 2019 IEEE.

Due to the extremely successful application in remote sensing, polarimetric radar systems are used to observe a large number of manmade targets, such as urban areas, ships and vehicles, etc. These targets contain many dihedral and trihedral structures, which can be strong scattering points in a radar image. However, due to the limitation of resolution, some scatters in one resolution cell cannot be resolved, making it difficult to achieve the fine structure of manmade targets. In order to solve this problem, a super-resolution imaging method based on target null theory is presented in this paper. Simulation results verify the correctness of the proposed method which can provide a novel method for radar image interpolation and target recognition. © 2020 Institution of Engineering and technology.
