At present, Multi-platform avionics system (MPA) has been widely used. The existing adaptive scheduling algorithm based on Sliding-Scheduled Tenant (SST) simulates and verifies the resource management and task scheduling of MPA, and analyzes the task requirements of MPA. However, due to the shortcomings of SST algorithm in considering energy consumption and other aspects, it reduces the task acceptance rate, and does not consider the limitations of sensors and priorities, which makes al algorithm unable to meet the requirements of avionics system. This paper proposes a method of system resource selection, which considers the energy consumption, sensor and priority limit, so as to improve the acceptance rate of tasks, improve the acceptance rate of high priority, and get a scheduling algorithm with high acceptance rate of tasks. Finally, through the comprehensive analysis of the experimental results and experimental results in different scenes, it is shown that the algorithm proposed in this paper outperforms the existing algorithm in terms of the acceptance rate. © 2020, ICST Institute for Computer sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.

The monitoring and fault detection for the Czochralski (Cz) crystal growth process is important to ensure the quality of the produced mono-crystalline silicon. The Cz process is a typical multi-modes industrial process, which makes the detection difficult in distinguish the change caused by the fault or mode switching. In this paper, an adaptive fault detection strategy for Cz crystal growth process is proposed. Firstly, quality-related variables are selected from numerous process variables, based on which the training dataset is constructed. Then, a fault detection model is built based on slowly-varying feature and statics indicator. A model switching strategy and updating algorithm are designed to handle the abnormal situation caused by the mode switching or fault occurrence. Three representative experiments are conducted to verify the performance of the proposed strategy, including numerical cases, a publicly available dataset, and Cz crystal growth process from our laboratory. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

As all-electric aircraft has many advantages,an aircraft nose wheel steering system would be developed to the all-electric *** the control demand of the nose wheel steering system,based on the basic principles of nose wheel steering system and the design technique of mechanotronics,an all-electric aircraft nose wheel steering system,composed of a nose wheel steering mechanism of two worm gear and a control servo system of fly-by-wire with both steering and anti-shimmy functions is designed to meet the demand for operation control in the nose wheel steering ***,based on the LMS-AMESim software,the simulation model of the system is established to simulate the dynamics for the verification of its steering *** simulation results indicate that the nose wheel steering system is reasonable,and can meet the requirements of the general ***,the prototypes of the steering mechanism and control system are studied to validate the design,and the steering test bench is prepared to test the designed *** test results,such as steer angle,rotate speed of motor are analyzed in details and compared with the theoretical *** analysis and comparison results show that the design is reasonable and the property of the prototype can achieve the design objectives.

Manganese nodules, widely distributed across the deep-sea floor, are emerging as a significant potential mineral resource. Addressing the need for improved exploration and classification methods, this study explores the application of underwater hyperspectral imaging technology for the detection and classification of manganese nodule ore and other rock types. The system, operating within a spectral range of 400 - 1000 nm and achieving a spectral resolution of less than 5 nm, captures the spectral characteristics and spatial information of manganese nodule ores. Different classifiers, including Spectral Angle Mapper (SAM), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Convolutional Neural Networks (2D-CNN and 3D-CNN) to analyze the spectral data. Our results indicate that the four classifiers can effectively achieve ore classification, and CNN-based classifiers significantly outperform traditional SAM and SVM methods. The 2D-CNN model achieved the highest OA at 92.27%, closely followed by the 3D-CNN model at 91.77%. Our findings demonstrate the potential of underwater hyperspectral imaging combined with advanced machine learning techniques in marine mineral detection and environmental monitoring. © 2024 SPIE.

A distributed fault-tolerant formation control law is designed in this paper for multi-agent systems under external disturbances and actuator faults including time-varying loss of effectiveness faults. The initial position of each agent is already on a circle and the control purpose is to form a desired formation on this circle. Based on this local information, a distributed adaptive formation control law is designed by employing the congelation of variables method to deal with time-varying actuator faults. Finally, a simulation example is given to verify the effectiveness of the adaptive fault-tolerant control design method. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Avatars, as promising digital representations and service assistants of users in Metaverses, can enable drivers and passengers to immerse themselves in 3D virtual services and spaces of UAV-assisted vehicular Metaverses. However, avatar tasks include a multitude of human-to-avatar and avatar-to-avatar interactive applications, e.g., augmented reality navigation,which consumes intensive computing resources. It is inefficient and impractical for vehicles to process avatar tasks locally. Fortunately, migrating avatar tasks to the nearest roadside units(RSU)or unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV) for execution is a promising solution to decrease computation overhead and reduce task processing latency, while the high mobility of vehicles brings challenges for vehicles to independently perform avatar migration decisions depending on current and future vehicle status. To address these challenges, in this paper, we propose a novel avatar task migration system based on multi-agent deep reinforcement learning(MADRL) to execute immersive vehicular avatar tasks dynamically. Specifically, we first formulate the problem of avatar task migration from vehicles to RSUs/UAVs as a partially observable Markov decision process that can be solved by MADRL algorithms. We then design the multi-agent proximal policy optimization(MAPPO) approach as the MADRL algorithm for the avatar task migration problem. To overcome slow convergence resulting from the curse of dimensionality and non-stationary issues caused by shared parameters in MAPPO, we further propose a transformer-based MAPPO approach via sequential decision-making models for the efficient representation of relationships among agents. Finally, to motivate terrestrial or non-terrestrial edge servers(e.g., RSUs or UAVs) to share computation resources and ensure traceability of the sharing records, we apply smart contracts and blockchain technologies to achieve secure sharing management. At present, real-time embedded software testing is a hot topic, and formal methods has become an important means in real-time embedded software modeling and verification field. The real-time embedded software verification technique based on formal methods can eliminate ambiguity, enhance the accuracy and consistency of verification and improve the automation level and efficiency. In this paper, we surveyed the existing formal testing techniques for real-time embedded software, pointed out the shortcomings of current research and gave the trends of the techniques.

Service-oriented advanced avionics system(SOAAS) is a complex network system with different stakeholders. Stake-holders are irrational behavior and may take aberrant behaviors in advanced avionics system. Different behavior will lead the avionics system to different states. In order to accurately predict the development trend of SOAAS and grasp its dynamic characteristics, stochastic evolutionary game theory is applied to study and analyze SOAAS in this paper. A multi-party game model is constructed to describe the behaviours of participant, and Ito stochastic differential equation is established based on stochastic theory to break through the limitation of replicator dynamics equation. The stability problem of SOAAS is effectively analyzed, and sufficient conditions of system stability are given. Simulation results show the correct and practicable of the established game model and analysis method.

In this paper, an adaptive method for detecting abnormal activities in video surveillance is proposed. In this method, a multi-Gaussian distribution called activity model is used to model a moving object activities. The activity model parameters are updated to satisfy the object motion attributes in a real-time when every new frame comes, and at same time this moving object current activity can be recognized by means of its possibility in the activity model. The advantage of this method is that the proposed activity models can update itself adaptively to match the current motion style of the object. The models are robust to the light change in the style of the object activity, and they are sensitive to these activities that do not meet the models. Several experiments are given to show that the proposed method is efficient.
