Optimization of the Circuit Parameter in Class-E Power Amplifier in the Two-coil Wireless Power Transfer System

In this paper, the circuit parameters of the Class-E power amplifier are investigated and optimized to achieve the maximum of output power and efficiency in a two-coil Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) system. The circuit is simulated with software named Saber. Working frequency, the value of capacitors and inductor, which has relationship with the output power and efficiency, are investigated during the simulation. With the simulation results, it is found that the frequency and the shunt capacitor need to be optimized for high performance of the wireless power transfer system.

Recommendation with the cold-start problem in evolving user-movie network

Faced with the problem of information overload on the Internet, recommender systems have been paid more and more attention. At present, many recommendation algorithms have been proposed. However, there are two problems in these recommendation methods which must be solved. Most of them are studied in a single round of recommendation, but lots of complex systems in reality are evolving with time. Besides, the cold-start problem has always been intractable in the recommender system. Therefore, in this paper, we propose two recommendation methods (i.e., Method I and Method II) to solve the movie cold-start problem for the evolving user-movie network which is comprised of users and movies, and then examine the recommendation performance and long-term effects of these two methods in evolving networks, and evaluate influence factors through the numerical simulation. The experiment results show that the network structure, the movie attributes and the length of the recommendation list affect the recommendation accuracy and its novelty. The effects of Method I and Method II are better than those of other recommendation methods in previous works. Moreover, in Method Iwe should lay more emphasis on the relation between nodes, while in Method II we should focus on node attributes. © 2019 Computer Society of the Republic of China. This paper proposes a sliding mode estimation-based control to solve the stochastic time delay problem in networked microgrid,because stochastic delay has a great impact on the stability and performance of large power grids（LPG）.To analyze the delay effects,the microgrid system model is derived according to the characteristics of the inverter in grid-connected *** on the microgrid system model,the stochastic delay estimation with learning parameter and delayed states are *** control signal designed by sliding mode control（SMC） and the learning parameter of delay estimation are adaptively changed in the sliding mode estimation-based control *** reaching law（ERL） is proposed to solve the chattering issues of *** 3.3 KW microgrid parameters are added into simulation to verify the effectiveness and performance of the proposed control strategy.

Theoretical prediction and experimental testing of mechanical properties for 3d printed silk fibroin-type II collagen scaffolds for cartilage regeneration

Silk fibroin-type II collagen scaffold was made by 3D printing technique and freeze-drying method, and its mechanical properties were studied by experiments and theoretical prediction. The results show that the three-dimensional silk fibroin-typeII collagen scaffold has good porosity and water absorption, which is (89.3%+3.26%) and (824.09%+93.05%), respectively. With the given strain value, the stress of scaffold decreases rapidly firstly and then tends to be stable during the stress relaxation. Both initial and instantaneous stresses increase with increase of applied strain value. The creep strains of scaffold with different stress levels show the two stages: the rapidly increasing stage and the second stable stage. It is noted that the scaffold with compressive stress of less than 35 kPa can recover when the compressive stress is removed. However when the compressive stress is higher than 50 kPa, the scaffold is damaged and its structure is destroyed. Not only the compressive property but tensile property of scaffold are dependent on the applied displacement rate or strain rate. Its compressive elastic modulus and tensile modulus increase with increase of strain rate or displacement rate. The nonlinear relaxation model and creep model were constructed respectively and applied to predict the stress relaxation behavior and creep behavior of scaffold. It is found that there are good agreements between the experimental data and predictions, which mean that the built theoretical model can predict the mechanical behavior of scaffold. Flow Mechanism of Cooling Effectiveness Improvement for the Cylindrical Film Cooling Hole with Contoured Craters

In this paper, a typical cylindrical hole with contoured craters is investigated in terms of the downstream flow field by numerical method at blowing ratios of 0.5, 1 and 1.5. The flow field and the cooling effectiveness are analyzed using three-dimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations with the shear stress transport turbulence model. In comparison to the cylindrical hole, the cratered hole shows a wider coolant coverage in lateral direction and a lower penetration into the mainstream flow due to the larger hole exit area. Moreover, the interaction between the coolant and the curved protrusion induces a new anti-kidney-shaped vortex pair, which can obviously improve the cooling coverage and thus the cooling effectiveness. The area-averaged cooling effectiveness for the cratered hole is always higher than that for the cylindrical hole at all three blowing ratios.

Comparison on Thermodynamic Performances between Basic and Regenerative Sub-Critical Organic Rankine Cycles Coupled with Low Grade Heat Source

The coupling effects of low grade heat source on thermodynamic performances of both the basic and regenerative sub-critical Organic Rankine cycle (ORC) systems are investigated and compared. Turbine inlet pressure and turbine inlet temperature are treated as independent variables. The system exergy efficiency is selected as the thermodynamic performance criterion. The waste hot water with temperature range of 373.15K to 423.15K is selected as the low grade heat source. Optimization studies are carried out by using eight common organic working fluids to recover heat energy, and relevant operating conditions are obtained respectively. The results indicate that both hot fluid inlet temperature and the allowable minimum hot fluid outlet temperature influence the optimal working fluid, relevant turbine inlet condition and system exergy efficiency. Optimal system exergy efficiency increases monotonously with increasing of hot fluid temperature for both ORC systems above. In comparison to the basic cycle configuration, optimal system exergy efficiency for the regenerative system using the same working fluid is not changed if relevant turbine inlet vapor is saturated, but is significantly improved if relevant turbine inlet vapor is overheating. Besides, the optimal working fluid is dependent on the heat source temperature and specific cycle configuration.

Modern chemical processes are usually characterized by large-scale,complex correlation,and strong dynamics,and monitoring of such processes is *** paper proposes a performance-driven fault-relevant dynamic principal component(FRDPC) subspace construction integrated with Bayesian inference method to achieve efficient monitoring for dynamic chemical ***,dynamic principal component analysis is employed to deal with both auto-correlation and cross-correlation among ***,considering fault information has no definite mapping to a certain dynamic principal component(DPC) and the existence of non-beneficial DPCs may cause redundancy in the monitoring,an FRDPC subspace is constructed for each fault through the performance-driven DPC *** new process measurements are examined in each FRDPC subspace as well as the residual *** monitoring results in all subspaces are fused to a comprehensive index through Bayesian inference to provide an intuitive indication of the process *** studies on a numerical example and the Tennessee Eastman benchmark process indicate the efficiency.

Pickup Manipulator Design and Its Kinematics Simulation

In order to improve the flexibility of the pickup manipulator and solve the problem of picking up small sports balls in training ground such as golfing, tennis, and table tennis, a 5-DOF pickup manipulator structure is designed. According to the pickup task requirements of the manipulator, through theoretical calculations, the 86HS series stepping motor is selected as the driving motors of the front end joints. Based on this, the stepping motor control system is designed to realize the closed-loop control of the manipulator. Then the manipulator model is built using D-H method, the inverse kinematics solution is calculated, and the analysis of kinematic theory is conducted. Finally, the targeted pickup point is selected to carry out case simulation analysis of the manipulator, the motion law of the manipulator is verified to be reasonable and the task of picking up small sports balls is completed.

This paper studies the synchronization control of linear multi-agent systems with unmeasurable states,finite communication data rate and switching topologies.A class of adaptive quantized-observer based dynamic encoding-decoding schemes for information communication and a class of Certainty Equivalence principle based control protocols for synchronization are proposed for overcoming the uncertainties of network *** is shown that if the network topology flow is jointly connected,the communication channels are periodically active,and the agent dynamics are observable and with orthogonal system matrices,then the proposed protocols can drive the dynamic network to synchronization exponentially fast with finite bits of information exchange per step.

A decentralised state feedback control scheme is proposed to stabilise a class of nonlinear interconnected systems asymptotically based on the characteristics of the system structure. Under the condition that all the nominal isolated subsystems have uniform relative degree, the considered class of interconnected systems is transferred to a new interconnected system formed of single input systems, which facilitates the decentralised control design. A new term, weak mismatched uncertainty, is introduced for the first time to recognise a class of mismatched uncertainties in the isolated subsystems. The study shows that the effects of both matched and weak mismatched uncertainties in the isolated subsystems can be rejected completely by appropriate choice of control, and the effects of matched interconnections can be largely reduced if the control gain is sufficiently high. © 2015
