A 2n×2n n-stage, routable, bit-permuting network is called a banyan-type network, which has self-routing property by guide transform and trace transform. Some researchers analyzed self-routing property of a banyan-type network and tandem connection of banyan-type networks not about the number of arbitrary stages. When network is constituted by many mixed banyan-type nodes, self-routing property only applied in node not network level. So firstly this passage analyses self-routing property of cascading banyan-type network based on bit-permuting exchange. Secondly it proposes a method to resolve self-routing problem of the n (n≥2log2N) stages N×N banyan-type network . Then it defines two reconfigurable manipulation on bit-permuting to divide switching source to different slices. Finally it uses the method and the definition to realize self-routing in the network level of mixed banyan-type nodes.

The objective of software process measurement is to find the abnormal conditions, such as incompliance and instable, in the real executing process of software process by measurement, so we can supply quantity proof for software process control and management. However, there are gaps between customer satisfaction degree measurement and software product quality degree measurement in mostly software process measurement approach and practice currently, cause the problems like ambiguity of measurement aims, anddifficult to evaluate the effect of measurement etc. This paper put forward a new software process measurement approach based on Six Sigma theory, which combines customer satisfaction degree, software quality, software process altogether. The approach is based on ISO9126's software internal-external-user quality model, uses QFd(quality function deployment) to confirm the aim of software process measurement and measurement technique factors, using SPC(statistics process control) method to do trend analysis and stability analysis for measurement items, to find andremove abnormal instances, constructs performance baseline for measured process performance, improves and justifies software process according to measurement results, and provides focus for software test and maintain, finally insure the implementation of the target of customer satisfaction degree and software quality.

As Internet traffic grows explosively, high-speed switches androuters with large capability are becoming necessary, scalable multi-stage switching fabric is the next step. Nevertheless, current scheduling schemes based on random matching orroundrobin dispatching for Memory-Space-Memory (MSM) Clos switching fabric, are subjected to the limited throughput and time delay under non-uniform traffic. As the complexity primitive, this paper introduces the Frame-based Stability-guaranteed Scheduling scheme (FSS) by relaxing the time constraint of scheduling. The stability of FFS as the primary academic analysis is proved too. At last, our simulation results show that FSS can achieve higher throughput under non-uniform traffic compared to current schemes, while keeping high performance under uniform traffic with low implementation complexity.

A new transflective OCB-LCd with an in-cell compensation film in the reflective part was proposed to improve a brightness and viewing-angle performance of the low-voltage driving transflective LCds. We verified that wide viewing angle range exceeding ±80° (Cr >10:1), a high contrast ratio over 1000:1 and comparatively high luminance (normalized transmittance >0.75 andreflectance >0.65) could be achieved in both transmissive andreflective parts by optimizing design parameters of the LCd, even if the on voltage is lowered to 3.5V.
