In this paper, we investigate a cognitive radio network design for the Two-way relay (TWr) Channel, relying on the combination of Adaptive Quadrature amplitude modulation (AQAM) and network coding technique. More explicitly, we extend the AQAM in peer-to-peer transmission scenario to the downlink design of decode-and-Forward Two-way relaying (dF-TWr) scenario. On the basis of the bit-error-ratio (BEr) bounds, joint power and rate adaptive QAM with network coding scheme is proposed for the purpose of improving the throughput of the relaying system. In addition, Network-coded-aided QAM suffers a modest SNr loss due to the direct current (dC) bias, which will be derived in detail in this paper. Simulation results indicate that our proposed adaptive Network-coded-aided QAM scheme hold the potential of improving the throughput of TWr network, compared to the scheme without adaptation.

Heterogeneous networks have become an important model to represent complex network. However, many existing community detection methods for dynamic network are hardly applied in heterogeneous networks. In this paper, we present a multi-view learning based algorithm for dynamic heterogeneous networks, which treats network individually, combines heterogeneous information and improves the quality. Compared with the traditional methods, experimental results on real network show that our proposed algorithm can detect the community structure in dynamic heterogeneous networks.

In order to deal with the rapid growth of mobile data traffic and reduce the infrastructure capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expense (OPEX), C-rAN is introduced into wireless access network architecture. C-rAN can implement the separation of baseband processing unit (BBU) and remote radio head (rrH). Baseband processing resources are shared by the centralizing deployment of BBU in data center, while rrH is only as a wireless access point that is responsible for sending and receiving signals. Software defined Network (SdN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV), the candidate technologies for future development of wireless access network, can promote the virtualization of wireless access network. In this paper, the dynamic allocation of carrier resource in BBU pool is studied, and a dynamic combination allocation algorithm based on Karnaugh map and enhance genetic algorithm (KMEG) for resource allocation of carrier resource is also presented. The simulation results show that this algorithm can deal with different mobile service request for underlying resource effectively, which can adjust system capacity dynamically on demand and achieve the dynamic share of heterogeneous underlying resources in BBU pool. In addition, this algorithm can improve the receiving rate of VNs compared with the static resource allocation algorithm, which can enhance the utilization rate of underlying resources and spectrum efficiency greatly.

Traffic classification method by combination of host behaviour and statistical approach

Traffic classification, one of the most active fields in Internet traffic research, is the substructure of network design and management. Generally, there are four techniques to identify the traffic, port-based, payload-based, flow statistic-based, and host-based approaches. In this paper, a hybrid method to classify the traffic was proposed combining the host behaviour and the Affinity Propagation (AP) algorithm. Simple features in the statistical process were selected at the first stage of classification;then, the initial classification results and the host behaviour model were combined to generate the final results. The host behaviour model was updated by the feedback of previous classification. The combining classification approach was evaluated on two real traces. The results indicated that the proposed technique offered improved performance compared with BLINC and independent AP algorithms. © 2014 Kavala Institute of Technology.

The first several packets of a flow play key role in the on-line traffic managements. Early traffic sampling, extracting the first several packets of every flow, is raised. This paper proposes a structure named CTBF, combination of counting Bloom Filter and time Bloom Filter. Based on it, the algorithm is designed to realize automatically removing the space occupied by the timeout flow. The analyses and experiments demonstrate that the sampling accuracy of CTBF is better than that of LrU and Fixed-T algorithm in the same space. © Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering 2014.

Fine feature extraction is the basement of specific emitter identification, but existing researches rarely take the channel environment into consideration. To improve the practicability of the technology under the realistic channel, this paper researches on the method extracting of the fine feature under a simple multipath channel, which estimates the impulse of channel response by small-amplitude symbols, extracts the nonlinearity of power amplifier (PA) by bigger-amplitude symbols and reduces the effects of noise by iteration. That is to say, the method is applicable just for signals with different symbol amplitudes. For simulation, we extracted feature vectors using a 16-QAM signal and the support vector machine was used in training and classifying. Experience shows that the method performs well for identifying same-model emitters in multipath channel especially at a higher SNr.

research on the diffusion effect of micro-blog plays an important role in improving marketing efficiency, strengthening monitoring public opinion and accurately discovering hotspot etc. To solve the problems not taking users' differences into consideration in the previous research, this paper proposes an algorithm to predict scale and depth of retweet massages based on analysis of retweet behavior. With the combination of Lr algorithm and nine related features extracted from micro-blog users themselves, their relationships and micro-blog contents, we proposes a prediction model of retweet behavior. Based on this model, we proposes an algorithm to predict the diffusion effect, which considers the character of information spreading along users and does statistical analysis of adjacent users iteratively. Experimental results on Sina micro-blog dataset show that the algorithm has a prediction accuracy of 87.1% and 81.6% in scale and depth respectively, which indicates the model works well.

Advanced downlink (dL) decode-and-forward two-way relaying (dF-TWr) is developed for the sake of maximizing the attainable spectral efficiency. Network-coded phase-shift keying (NC-PSK) holds the potential of significantly increasing the data rate of the network, while adaptive modulation is a powerful technique of improving both the energy and spectral efficiency. Hence power-controlled adaptive NC-PSK has the potential of achieving performance enhancements over fading channels. Given this framework, based on the bit-error-ratio (BEr) bounds developed, we derive the closed-form spectral efficiency for a continuous-rate, continuous-power adaptive NC-PSK scheme, where both the transmit power and the transmit rate are optimized subject to specific power- and BEr- constraints. We then conceive and investigate a discrete-rate scheme relying on a pair of solutions proposed for maximizing the throughput of the network. Our simulation results reveal that the proposed schemes are capable of achieving a higher spectral efficiency than their fixed-power counterparts.

Based on the constant modulus criterion, a new Widely Linear(WL) blind equalizer and a novel widely linear recursive least square constant modulus algorithm are proposed to improve the blind equalization performance for complex-valued noncircular signals. The new algorithm takes advantage of the WL filtering theory by taking full use of second-order statistical information of the complex-valued noncircular signals. Therefore, the weight vector contains the complete second-order information of the real and imaginary parts to decrease the residual inter-symbol interference effectively. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed scheme can significantly improve the equalization performance for complex-valued noncircular signals compared with traditional blind equalization algorithms.
