A multi-dimensional conductive heterojunction structure,composited by TiO2,SnO2,and Ti3C2TX MXene,is facilely designed and applied as electron transport layer in efficient and stable planar perovskite solar *** on an oxygen vacancy scramble effect,the zero-dimensional anatase TiO2 quantum dots,surrounding on two-dimensional conductive Ti3C2TX sheets,are in situ rooted on three-dimensional SnO2 nanoparticles,constructing nanoscale TiO2/SnO2 *** fabrication is implemented in a controlled lowtemperature anneal method in air and then in N2 *** the optimal MXene content,the optical property,the crystallinity of perovskite layer,and internal interfaces are all facilitated,contributing more amount of carrier with effective and rapid transferring in *** champion power conversion efficiency of resultant perovskite solar cells achieves 19.14%,yet that of counterpart is just 16.83%.In addition,it can also maintain almost 85%of its initial performance for more than 45 days in 30–40%humidity air;comparatively,the counterpart declines to just below 75%of its initial performance.

Sketches have risen as promising solutions for frequency estimation, which is one of the most fundamental tasks in approximate data stream processing. In many scenarios, users have a strong demand to apply sketches under the expected error constraints. In this paper, we explore how to configure sketch parameters to satisfy user-defined error constraints. We propose SketchConf, an automatic sketch configuration framework, which efficiently generates memory-optimal configurations for the first time. We show that SketchConf can be applied to order-independent sketches, including CM, Count, Tower, and Nitro sketches. We further discuss how to deal with the unknown and changeable workloads when applying SketchConf to the real scenarios of streaming data processing. Experimental results show that SketchConf can be up to 715.51 times faster than the baseline algorithm, and the outputted configurations save up to 99.99% memory and achieve up to 27.44 times throughput, compared with the theory-based configurations. Stencil is a basic building block widely used in many HPC areas and applications. It generally dominates the time cost and is critical to the overall performance. Given that heterogeneous many-core is frequently adopted to build super computers, porting and optimizing stencil codes on modern accelerator-based architectures is important. Porting is non-trivial, and optimization is more difficult as it requires better understanding of the underlying architecture. As a result, auto tuning targeting on accelerators such as GPU becomes a hot research topic. In this paper, we focus on tuning stencil automatically on SW26010, which is a heterogeneous many-core CPU equipped in Sunway TaihuLight SuperComputer, and mainly work on 2D stencil variants code in ROMS (Regional Ocean Modeling System). The code generator can generate codes running on slave cores for 50+ different FORTRAN stencil-alike loops in ROMS in seconds, and optimization methods are integrated into the generator as well. The performance is better than the directive based method (OpenACC) and the hand-drafted code by a junior programmer, and it is comparable compared with the code written by a senior programmer with several years of programming experience. © 2019 IEEE.

1data stream mining over a sliding window is a fundamental problem in many applications, such as financial data trackers, intrusion detection and QoS. To meet the demand for high throughput of high speed data streams, sliding window algorithms turn to hardware platforms including FPGA/ASIC and programmable switches. These hardware platforms have three constraints for algorithms running on, which are 1) small memory usage 2) single stage memory access and 3) limited concurrent memory access. algorithms perfectly fit in with these constraints will enable a highest utilization of these hardware platforms. However, no existing sliding window algorithm is specifically designed for hardware platforms. In this paper, we propose the Sliding Hardware Estimator (SHE), which is a generic framework that extends existing fixed window algorithms to sliding windows on hardware platforms. The key idea of SHE is that, during insertions we approximately delete out-dated information with little time and space overhead, while during queries we design sophisticated techniques to minimize error. We have fully implemented our SHE on FPGA, achieving a throughput of 544 Mips. We apply SHE to four typical data stream mining tasks. Experimental results show that, when compared with the state-of-the-art which cannot be implemented in hardware, SHE reduces the error by up to 100 times in membership queries. Restricted by their energy storage mechanism,current energy storage devices have certain drawbacks,such as low power density for batteries and low energy density for ***,the nearest ion capacitors,such as lithium-ion and sodium-ion capacitors containing battery-type and capacitor-type electrodes,may allow achieving both high energy and power *** the inspiration,a new zinc-ion capacitor(ZIC)has been designed and realized by assembling the free-standing manganese dioxide-carbon nanotubes(MnO2-CNTs)battery-type cathode and MXene(Ti3C2Tx)capacitortype anode in an aqueous *** ZIC can avoid the insecurity issues that frequently occurred in lithium-ion and sodium-ion capacitors in organic *** expected,the ZIC in an aqueous liquid electrolyte exhibits excellent electrochemical performance(based on the total weight of cathode and anode),such as a high specific capacitance of 115.1 F g?1(1 mV s?1),high energy density of 98.6 Wh kg?1(77.5 W kg?1),high power density of 2480.6 W kg?1(29.7 Wh kg?1),and high capacitance retention of^83.6%of its initial capacitance(15,000 cycles).Even in an aqueous gel electrolyte,the ZIC also exhibits excellent *** work provides an essential strategy for designing next-generation high-performance energy storage devices.

In this paper, we propose a new type of item in data streams, called simplex items. Simplex items have frequencies in consecutive p windows that can be approximated by a polynomial of degree at most k, where k = 0, 1, 2. These low-order representable simplex items have a wide range of potential applications. For example, when k = 1, we can leverage these items whose frequency has obvious linear increase or decrease to speed up the running time of a class of machine learning models and detect network attacks such as distributed denial-of-service (DDoS), etc. To find k-degree simplex items in real time, we propose a novel sketch, namely X-Sketch, to accurately record simplex items in a compact space. The key idea of X-Sketch is to effectively filter out non-simplex items with less memory overhead, and then monitor the remaining potential simplex items and keep those items with more consecutive windows. We conduct extensive experiments, and the experimental results show that the F1 Score of X-Sketch is on average 68.6%, 57.9%, and 42.2% higher than the baseline solution for k = 0, 1, 2, respectively. Finally, we also provide a case study that applies X-Sketch to "accelerate"the two machine learning models through end-to-end experiments. We have released our source code at GitHub. © 2023 IEEE.

Nowadays, the best-effort service can not guarantee the quality of service (QoS) for all kinds of services. QoS routing is an important method to guarantee QoS requirements. It involves path selection for flows based on the current network status and the performance criteria of the service requirements. However, it is difficult for proposed solutions to obtain all the available paths owing to not fully considering all the QoS parameters of paths. In this paper, we propose SWQoS, a novel, universal, and stepwise QoS guarantee scheme based on multiple QoS parameter evaluation for selecting the available paths including preferred paths, satisfied paths and reluctant paths in SDN. The experiments show that SWQoS can select all the available paths that meet the performance criteria of the service requirements and have better QoS parameter performance compared with other path selection methods. © 2021, ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering.

Batch is an important pattern in data streams, which refers to a group of identical items that arrive closely. We find that some special batches that arrive periodically are of great value. In this paper, we formally define a new pattern, namely periodic batches. A group of periodic batches refers to several batches of the same item, where these batches arrive periodically. Studying periodic batches is important in many applications, such as caches, financial markets, online advertisements, networks, etc. We propose a one-pass sketching algorithm, namely the HyperCalm sketch, which takes two phases to detect periodic batches in real time. In phase 1, we propose a time-aware Bloom filter, namely HyperBloomFilter (HyperBF), to detect the start of batches. In phase 2, we propose an enhanced top-k algorithm, called Calm Space-Saving (CalmSS), to report top-k periodic batches. We theoretically derive the error bounds for HyperBF and CalmSS. Extensive experiments show HyperCalm outperforms the strawman solutions 4× in term of average relative error and 13.2× in term of speed. We also apply HyperCalm to a cache system and integrate HyperCalm into Apache Flink. All related codes are open-sourced.

Nowadays, application of automated intelligent robot arm devices to improve industrial production efficiency has become a popular research field in the world. The previous off-line path planning method of robotic arm has the inadequacies of low efficiency and slow speed. Although the deep reinforcement learning has accomplished many achievements in the path planning of control manipulator, there are still some problems such as long training time and low planning accuracy. To solve the abovementioned issues, we propose an improved Twin Delayed Deep Deterministic policy gradient (TD3) algorithm (Improved Cross-Entropy Method-TD3: ICEM-TD3) for the path planning of the robotic arm. First, this paper combines evolutionary strategies with TD3 to generate action networks. Then the exploration of TD3 algorithm in the action space is replaced by the exploration in the parameter space. In addition, this paper designs a new reward function to weaken the redundancy of planning and accelerate the convergence speed of training. Finally, the Gazebo simulator is adopted to verify the proposed algorithm, and the results illustrate that the proposed algorithm can greatly improve the accuracy of the path planning of the manipulator using deep reinforcement learning. © 2023 IEEE.
