This paper introduces the Temporal Transform Network based on Scale Sequences (TTS) for cloth-changing person re-identification in video datasets. The TTS network is designed to capture multi-scale temporal cues within video sequences. It accomplishes this by initially modeling short-term temporal cues between adjacent frames, followed by capturing long-term relationships between non-consecutive frames. In more detail, short-term temporal cues are modeled through parallel inflated convolutions with different time dilation rates, enabling the representation of pedestrian movement and appearance dynamics. Long-term relationships are effectively captured using a temporal self-attention model, mitigating challenges such as occlusion and noise within the video sequence. The TTS network outperforms existing methods across cloth-changing video ReID datasets such as CCVID. For instance, under general settings, our approach exhibits a 1.1% improvement in top-1 accuracy and a corresponding 1.1% increase in mAP compared to the baseline. In cloth-changing settings, we observe a 0.2% enhancement in top-1 accuracy and a notable 1.3% increase in mAP relative to the baseline.

In the case of power grid cascading trip, this study puts forward a strategy to prevent cascading trip by changing the output of generator set. Firstly, according to the specific performance of the power grid under the cascade tripping, combined with the action behavior of the line current-type backup protection, and an expression equation for measuring the safety level index between the power grid and the cascading trip failure is given. Secondly, the vulnerable branch is found out through the safety level index, the output of the key power generation nodes on the branch is taken as the optimization variable, and the optimization model is established to improve the safety level index under the chain trip of the power grid. Finally, a combination of sensitivity analysis and particle swarm optimization(PSO) was used to analyze an example on the IEEE-39 node system. The results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the model and method, and provide a reference for preventing chain trip accidents. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In recent years, oriented object detection technology has made significant progress. Most oriented object detectors represent oriented bounding boxes by adding additional angle information to the horizontal bounding box representation, which leads to serious angle periodicity issues. To address these issues, this paper proposes double midpoint vectors (DMvectors) to represent oriented objects. For any oriented bounding box, we align the center point with the origin in the Cartesian coordinate system, and evenly distribute the midpoints of the box edges across the four quadrants. We use the midpoint of the first and second quadrants, as well as the width and height of the box, to represent the oriented bounding box. DMvectors solve the periodic problem of angles by implicitly including angle information in vectors. To demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method, we conducted extensive experiments on two common remote sensing datasets (DOTA and HRSC2016), and our method achieved competitive results.

Precipitation Behavior and Mechanical Properties of Al-1.0mg-0.6si-Cu (Wt.%) Alloy Controlled by Cu Content

The precipitation and intergranular corrosion(IGC) behavior of Al-1.0Mg-0.6Si-Cu (wt.%) alloys with the addition of Cu ranged from 0.3 to 0.6 wt.% were investigated by optical microscope and transmission electron microscopy. The results indicated that the Cu addition significantly improves the hardness of the alloys during under-aging progress by accelerating the precipitation of GP zones. The addition of Cu has changed the composition of precipitation and facilitated the formation of β′′-Mg5Si6 precipitates with high density and fine distribution. When the Cu content is added to 0.6 wt.%, the type of precipitation has changed. In addition to the needle-shaped β′′ phase, a new-plate Q′ phase precipitated during peak-aging conditions. The 0.6 wt.% Cu alloy shows superior strength with tensile yield strength of 328 MPa, ultimate tensile strength of 368 MPa, and elongation of 16.0%. However, the IGC resistance decreased with the Cu content increasing from 0.3 to 0.6 wt.%, which mainly resulted from the segregation of Cu elements and the formation of continuous Q′ precipitates at the grain boundaries. © 2022, The Authors. Demand-responsive customized bus (DRCB) is a specific type of demand-responsive transit (DRT), which can flexibly customize services according to travel demand. However, few papers explored the influence factors on it. The purpose of this paper is to use the DRCB trip data from November 15 to December 15, 2020, in Xiongan New Area, China, to investigate the influence of built environment, weather, and time factors on DRCB ridership by using a negative binomial regression model. According to the spatiotemporal analysis, DRCB ridership is mainly concentrated in the peak hours of 07:00-09:00 and 17:00-20:00;the spatial distribution is primarily centered in areas such as government service center, railway station, and residential area. The model results show that scenic spot, governmental agency, morning peak period, and evening peak period are positively correlated with the DRCB ridership. Company, medical facility, visibility, rain, and weekend have a negative correlation with DRCB ridership. The results of this paper can provide insights for relevant companies to better understand the demand for DRCB and better plan the DRCB systems. © 2021 IEEE.

Aiming at the cascading fault phenomenon of power system, this paper analyzes the disturbed branches involved in the initial fault and their relationship with the power generating nodes. Firstly, according to the performance of the initial fault branch in the cascading fault phenomenon and the action of relay protection, an expression form of evaluating the severity of the initial fault branch is given. Secondly, the relationship between the current of the residual system branch and the injection power of the nodes after the initial fault removal is analyzed. Then, on the basis of synthesizing the severity of the disturbed branch and its correlation with the power generating nodes, the key power generating nodes on the seriously disturbed branch are selected by clustering analysis. Finally, based on the key power generation nodes, the optimal power generation output model considering the power generation operation cost was established, the model was solved by particle swarm optimization (PSO), the model was simulated by IEEE39 bus system in MATLAB environment, and the correctness of the established model and method was verified. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

A Structure-Aware Lane Graph Transformer Model for Vehicle Trajectory Prediction

Accurate prediction of future trajectories for surrounding vehicles is vital for the safe operation of autonomous vehicles. This study proposes a Lane Graph Transformer (LGT) model with structure-aware capabilities. Its key contribution lies in encoding the map topology structure into the attention mechanism. To address variations in lane information from different directions, four Relative Positional Encoding (RPE) matrices are introduced to capture the local details of the map topology structure. Additionally, two Shortest Path Distance (SPD) matrices are employed to capture distance information between two accessible lanes. Numerical results indicate that the proposed LGT model achieves a significantly higher prediction performance on the Argoverse 2 dataset. Specifically, the minFDE6 metric was decreased by 60.73% compared to the Argoverse 2 baseline model (Nearest Neighbor) and the b-minFDE6 metric was reduced by 2.65% compared to the baseline LaneGCN model. Furthermore, ablation experiments demonstrated that the consideration of map topology structure led to a 4.24% drop in the b-minFDE6 metric, validating the effectiveness of this model. Model Degradation Hinders Deep Graph Neural Networks

Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) have achieved great success in various graph mining tasks. However, drastic performance degradation is always observed when a GNN is stacked with many layers. As a result, most GNNs only have shallow architectures, which limits their expressive power and exploitation of deep neighborhoods. Most recent studies attribute the performance degradation of deep GNNs to the over-smoothing issue. In this paper, we disentangle the conventional graph convolution operation into two independent operations: Propagation (P) and Transformation (T). Following this, the depth of a GNN can be split into the propagation depth (Dp ) and the transformation depth (Dt ). Through extensive experiments, we find that the major cause for the performance degradation of deep GNNs is the model degradation issue caused by large Dt rather than the over-smoothing issue mainly caused by large Dp. Further, we present Adaptive Initial Residual (AIR), a plug-and-play module compatible with all kinds of GNN architectures, to alleviate the model degradation issue and the over-smoothing issue simultaneously. Experimental results on six real-world datasets demonstrate that GNNs equipped with AIR outperform most GNNs with shallow architectures owing to the benefits of both large Dp and Dt, while the time costs associated with AIR can be ignored. As the function of the decomposition of fungi has been clearly researched in the global carbon cycle,it is obviously of value to explore the decomposition rate of fungal *** study analyzed the relationship between environmental factors and biodiversity step by *** order to explore the interaction between the fungi and the relationship between the decomposition rate of fungi with time,the model based on the Logistic model was built and the Lotka-Volterra model was employed in the condition of two kinds of fungi existing in an environment with limited *** changing trend of population number and decomposition rate of several fungi under different environmental conditions can be predicted through the *** illustrate the applicability of the model,Laetiporus conifericola and Hyphoderma setigerum were applied as *** results showed that the higher the degree of population diversity,the greater the decomposition rate,and the higher the decomposition efficiency of the *** rich species diversity is conducive to accelerating the decomposition of litter,lignocellulose,and the circulation of the entire *** on the above model and using the data from measuring the mycelial elongation rate of each isolate at 10℃,16℃,and 22℃ under standardized laboratory conditions,the growth patterns of the five fungi combinations were *** results revealed a general increase in growth rate with increasing temperature,which verifies the accuracy of the ***,it also revealed that the total decomposition rate after fungal incorporation was negatively correlated with the decomposition rate of a fungal single *** on the above model,predictions can be made for fungal growth in different environments,and suitable environments for fungal growth can be *** the future,the model can be further optimized,and lignin and cellulose decomposition factors can be added to fit the decomposition of *** application
