In recent years, research has illuminated the potency of implicit data processing in enhancing user preferences. Nevertheless, barriers remain in breaking through the constraints of implicit information. This study aims to bridge this gap by firstly constructing a triangular stable node network model, tailored to manage implicit information with precision. Recognizing the challenge of pinpointing novel structures within large-scale graphs, we propose SLTSNN-a triangular stable node network based on self-supervised learning for personalized prediction. SLTSNN innovates by maximizing mutual information between graph-level and patch-level representations, while augmenting graph representations through extended enhanced representations. Additionally, it incorporates triangular data associations and introduces a triangular allocation attention network, which emphasizes strongly correlated preference features among similar users. Furthermore, SLTSNN employs contrastive learning to maximize mutual information between graph vectors and hidden representations, distinguishing between high-order global and local representations. The model's effectiveness in enhancing user preferences and capturing new graph structures is evidenced by its performance on hit rate and normalized discounted cumulative gain metrics across three datasets. © 2025 IEEE.

As medical insurance continues to grow in size, the losses caused by medical insurance fraud cannot be underestimated. Current data mining and predictive techniques have been applied to analyze and explore the health insurance fraud population. However, previous studies only provide summary results and do not show the details of comparative analysis during the visit, resulting in the inability of auditors to quickly identify anomalous behavior. In this paper, we propose a visual analytics system for interactive medical insurance fraud detection to support the exploration and interpretation of different access processes. We propose a weighted MinDL to improve the accuracy of visit pattern classification in the time-series modeling process, and design a data analysis model and visual analysis view based on medical insurance fraud characteristics to reveal and explore the characteristics of medical insurance fraud groups. We collaborate with related organizations to design and implement an interactive visualization for medical insurance fraud group detection using real Medicare data and expert interviews The system is effective and practical in detecting and analyzing medical insurance fraud syndicates. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This paper presents a scientometric analysis of the research landscapes, hotspots, and emerging frontiers of combinatorial optimization algorithms on graphs from 1987 to 2022. The study investigates technical maturity, country/region collaboration, institutional cooperation, journal co-citation, dual graph overlay, and hotspot frontier analysis based on co-citation and keyword co-occurrence using tools like CiteSpace, Bibliometrics R, and VOSviewer. The analysis reveals that research in this field has entered a mature stage, and countries such as the United States, China, and Japan have produced rich output in this field. The university of Tokyo, MIT, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Jiao Tong university, Stanford university, and the university of California have formed 10 distinct collaborative clusters. The findings also suggest that research in the field of combination optimization mainly comes from two clusters, namely, computer science and mathematics, and that cross-disciplinary knowledge is also involved. In the field of graph-based combination optimization, deep learning, machine learning, graph neural networks, and reinforcement learning are now areas of intense investigation. The frontier direction of research in this field is represented by quantum computing technologies such as coherent ising machines, hybrid quantum-classical algorithms, and quantum algorithms. The research problems in this field are categorized into three main types from a keyword perspective: graph theory problems, classical optimization problems, and open problems. The corresponding methods for solving these problems are also categorized into combinatorial optimization techniques, stochastic optimization methods, and machine learning-based optimization methods. Batch is an important pattern in data streams, which refers to a group of identical items that arrive closely. We find that some special batches that arrive periodically are of great value. In this paper, we formally define a new pattern, namely periodic batches. A group of periodic batches refers to several batches of the same item, where these batches arrive periodically. Studying periodic batches is important in many applications, such as caches, financial markets, online advertisements, networks, etc. We propose a one-pass sketching algorithm, namely the HyperCalm sketch, which takes two phases to detect periodic batches in real time. In phase 1, we propose a time-aware Bloom filter, namely HyperBloomFilter (HyperBF), to detect the start of batches. In phase 2, we propose an enhanced top-k algorithm, called Calm Space-Saving (CalmSS), to report top-k periodic batches. We theoretically derive the error bounds for HyperBF and CalmSS. Extensive experiments show HyperCalm outperforms the strawman solutions 4× in term of average relative error and 13.2× in term of speed. We also apply HyperCalm to a cache system and integrate HyperCalm into Apache Flink. All related codes are open-sourced.

This paper explores the size-invariance of evaluation metrics in Salient Object Detection (SOD), especially when multiple targets of diverse sizes co-exist in the same image. We observe that current metrics are size-sensitive, where larger objects are focused, and smaller ones tend to be ignored. We argue that the evaluation should be size-invariant because bias based on size is unjustified without additional semantic information. In pursuit of this, we propose a generic approach that evaluates each salient object separately and then combines the results, effectively alleviating the imbalance. We further develop an optimization framework tailored to this goal, achieving considerable improvements in detecting objects of different sizes. Theoretically, we provide evidence supporting the validity of our new metrics and present the generalization analysis of SOD. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our method. Dockformer: A transformer-based molecular docking paradigm for large-scale virtual screening

Molecular docking is a crucial step in drug development, which enables the virtual screening of compound libraries to identify potential ligands that target proteins of interest. However, the computational complexity of traditional docking models increases as the size of the compound library increases. Recently, deep learning algorithms can provide data-driven research and development models to increase the speed of the docking process. Unfortunately, few models can achieve superior screening performance compared to that of traditional models. Therefore, a novel deep learning-based docking approach named Dockformer is introduced in this study. Dockformer leverages multimodal information to capture the geometric topology and structural knowledge of molecules and can directly generate binding conformations with the corresponding confidence measures in an end-to-end manner. The experimental results show that Dockformer achieves success rates of 90.53% and 82.71% on the PDBbind core set and PoseBusters benchmarks, respectively, and more than a 100-fold increase in the inference process speed, outperforming almost all state-of-the-art docking methods. In addition, the ability of Dockformer to identify the main protease inhibitors of coronaviruses is demonstrated in a real-world virtual screening scenario. Considering its high docking accuracy and screening efficiency, Dockformer can be regarded as a powerful and robust tool in the field of drug design. © 2024, CC BY-NC-ND.

Dynamic searchable symmetric encryption (DSSE) enables users to delegate the keyword search over dynamically updated encrypted databases to an honest-but-curious server without losing keyword privacy. This paper studies a new and practical security risk to DSSE, namely, secret key compromise (e.g., a user’s secret key is leaked or stolen), which threatens all the security guarantees offered by existing DSSE schemes. To address this open problem, we introduce the notion of searchable encryption with key-update (SEKU) that provides users with the option of non-interactive key updates. We further define the notion of post-compromise secure with respect to leakage functions to study whether DSSE schemes can still provide data security after the client’s secret key is compromised. We demonstrate that post-compromise security is achievable with a proposed protocol called "Bamboo". Interestingly, the leakage functions of Bamboo satisfy the requirements for both forward and backward security. We conduct a performance evaluation of Bamboo using a real-world dataset and compare its runtime efficiency with the existing forward-and-backward secure DSSE schemes. TAPFixer: Automatic Detection and Repair of Home Automation Vulnerabilities based on Negated-property Reasoning

Trigger-Action Programming (TAP) is a popular end-user programming framework in the home automation (HA) system, which eases users to customize home automation and control devices as expected. However, its simplified syntax also introduces new safety threats to HA systems through vulnerable rule interactions. Accurately fixing these vulnerabilities by logically and physically eliminating their root causes is essential before rules are deployed. However, it has not been well studied. In this paper, we present TAPFixer, a novel framework to automatically detect and repair rule interaction vulnerabilities in HA systems. It extracts TAP rules from HA profiles, translates them into an automaton model with physical and latency features, and performs model checking with various correctness properties. It then uses a novel negated-property reasoning algorithm to automatically infer a patch via model abstraction and refinement and model checking based on negated-properties. We evaluate TAPFixer on market HA apps (1177 TAP rules and 53 properties) and find that it can achieve an 86.65% success rate in repairing rule interaction vulnerabilities. We additionally recruit 23 HA users to conduct a user study that demonstrates the usefulness of TAPFixer for vulnerability repair in practical HA scenarios. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. Real-time detection of intelligent transportation system based on 3D point cloud

In the field of large-scale 3D point cloud processing, multi-object tracking (MOT) is a key technology in the field of intelligent transportation and autonomous driving, which aims to detect and track multiple targets accurately in real time. Existing multi-object tracking methods usually rely on a single detection or tracking module, which is difficult to provide efficient and stable tracking performance in complex dynamic environments. To address this problem, we propose a real-time detection framework for intelligent transportation systems based on 3D vision, which combines a dynamic object detection module (DODTM), a target tracking module (TTMDM), a temporal modeling module (Transformer), and a decision support module. Experimental results show that our method achieves 81.8% HOTA and 91.0% MOTA on the KITTI dataset, which is better than existing methods, especially in reducing identity switching (IDSW), which is only 7. Ablation experiments also verify the effectiveness of each module. Removing any module leads to a significant drop in performance, which proves the importance of each module in the system. © 2025
