A novel and convenient method for human positioning based on computer vision is proposed. The new camera Realsense D435 from Intel is used to provide richer and more effective visual information. The positioning problem can be simplified to the conversion problem between point cloud and space coordinate system. Experimental results indicated that only several test points were needed to establish the conversion relationship between the two coordinate systems, thereby obtaining the position of the person. The accuracy meets the demand of the stage performance.

We present a switching control strategy based on Lyapunov control for arbitrary state transitions in open qubit systems. This strategy can prevent the state from entering invariant or singularity sets, effectively driving the system ultimately to a sufficiently small neighborhood of target states, which relaxes strict constraints on system models imposed by special target states compared to existing works. For the arbitrary transition, practical finite-time stability (PFTS) and its contractive version (PFTCS) conditions are given, respectively, where asymptotic stability is unattainable in open quantum systems in general. The efficacy of our method is demonstrated in examples of a qubit affected by amplitude damping, dephasing, and depolarizing decoherence.

Monocular depth estimation is to perform pixel-level depth estimation on single perspective image, and the methods based on deep learning have shown superior effect for the challenging task. However, the supervised depth estimation methods need costly ground truth labels, which require professional equipment. To solve this problem, we study the unsupervised monocular depth estimation algorithm combining traditional stereo knowledge. We use the unsupervised network based on the reconstruction method as the baseline, which can be trained without direct supervision from ground truth depths leveraging image synthesis on sequences or multi-views images, so that it can improve the accuracy of prediction results without applying any annotations such as LIDAR depth in KITTI. Experiments results on the publicly database KITTI (Eigen split) have shown the promising effectiveness of the proposed method, and compared with state of the art unsupervised algorithms, it has achieved competitive performance in objective evaluation indicators.

Due to the diversity of existing software vulnerability analysis methods, a unified index system is required if we are to accurately and comprehensively evaluate the analytic effects in order to further improve the level of analysis. Accordingly, this paper first proposes the principles and process necessary to construct an evaluation index system for software vulnerability analysis. Moreover, by focusing on the problems identified in previous relevant research, an evaluation index system for software vulnerability analysis methods that contains four aspects-accuracy, coverage, value and performance-is proposed; this system is more comprehensive and complete than existing achievements. Finally, using the vulnerability analysis testing framework, the indexes of the three different versions of cppcheck are measured. The results show that the proposed evaluation index system can be used for the comparative evaluation of different vulnerability analysis methods.

In view of the previous Czochralski(Cz) monocrystalline silicon growth control method based on mechanism model, it is difficult to accurately reflect the nonlinear and real-time variation characteristics of crystal growth process. This paper proposes a data-driven iterative learning control method based on support vector regression, which combines crystal diameter prediction model by support vector regression(SVR) off-line training with crystal growth mechanism model, and then control the crystal diameter and output key variable information in the framework of iterative learning algorithm. Simulation results for diameter control of crystal growth process and the analysis of key variable information show that the proposed method is effective and has a fast crystal diameter learning speed, and good performances of setpoint tracking and disturbance rejection, high crystal growth speed.

In privacy-preserving machine learning, individual parties are reluctant to share their sensitive training data due to privacy concerns. Even the trained model parameters or prediction can pose serious privacy leakage. To address these problems, we demonstrate a generally applicable Distributed Privacy-Preserving Prediction (DPPP) framework, in which instead of sharing more sensitive data or model parameters, an untrusted aggregator combines only multiple models' predictions under provable privacy guarantee. Our framework integrates two main techniques to guarantee individual privacy. First, we introduce the improved Binomial Mechanism and Discrete Gaussian Mechanism to achieve distributed differential privacy. Second, we utilize homomorphic encryption to ensure that the aggregator learns nothing but the noisy aggregated prediction. Experimental results demonstrate that our framework has comparable performance to the non-private frameworks and delivers better results than the local differentially private framework and standalone framework.

Background: Acute lower respiratory infections (ALRIs) caused by respiratory viruses are common and persistent infectious diseases worldwide and in China, which have pronounced seasonal patterns. Meteorological factors have important roles in the seasonality of some major viruses, especially respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and influenza virus. Our aim was to identify the dominant meteorological factors and to model their effects on common respiratory viruses in different regions of China. Methods: We analysed monthly virus data on patients hospitalised with ALRI from 81 sentinel hospitals in 22 provinces in mainland China from Jan 1, 2009, to Sept 30, 2013. We considered seven common respiratory viruses: RSV, influenza virus, human parainfluenza virus, adenovirus, human metapneumovirus, human bocavirus, and human coronavirus. Meteorological data of the same period were used to analyse relationships between virus seasonality and seven meteorological factors according to region (southern vs northern China). The geographical detector method was used to quantify the explanatory power of each meteorological factor, individually and interacting in pairs, on the respiratory viruses. Findings: 28 369 hospitalised patients with ALRI were tested, 10 387 (36·6%) of whom were positive for at least one virus, including RSV (4091 [32·0%] patients), influenza virus (2665 [20·8%]), human parainfluenza virus (2185 [17·1%]), adenovirus (1478 [11·6%]), human bocavirus (1120 [8·8%]), human coronavirus (637 [5·0%]), and human metapneumovirus (615 [4·8%]). RSV and influenza virus had annual peaks in the north and biannual peaks in the south. Human parainfluenza virus and human bocavirus had higher positive rates in the spring–summer months. Human metapneumovirus had an annual peak in winter–spring, especially in the north. Adenovirus and human coronavirus exhibited no clear annual seasonality. Aiming at overcoming the defects of basic lighting color rendering for LED stage lighting, this paper establishes a new mixing light method with RGBW four-color mixing model. Compared with traditional tricolor light mixing model, it uses the mixing light of white as the fourth input, with the three-basic color of red, green and blue to obtain a new mixing method. Then the original coefficients of RGBW are optimized after adjusting the two parameters of relative spectral power distribution and illuminance of mixing light for locus fitting of blackbody. Finally, better color rendering of white light can be acquired. By the MATLAB simulation and field testing, experimental results have shown that the proposed method will achieve ideal LED lighting performance, which is convenient for color management of lighting control system in modern theatre. © 2018 IEEE.

In order to improve the speed and accuracy of silicon single crystal diameter detection, this paper proposes an ellipse detection method based on brain storm optimization algorithm Hough transform, this method uses brain storm optimization algorithm to search ellipse parameters that make the accumulator obtains the maximum value after using Hough transform, then the accurate measurement value of silicon single crystal diameter is obtained. The proposed algorithm is simulated on the complete ellipse with Gaussian white noise and silicon single crystal diameter detection engineering experiments, and the results are compared with other intelligent optimization algorithms. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the speed and accuracy of ellipse detection with Hough transform, thereby verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, and improve the speed and accuracy of silicon single crystal diameter detection.
