Music source separation, the process of extracting independent audio streams from a complex mix, has traditionally focused on isolating vocals, drums, bass, and other primary sources. This study tackles the more intricate task of separating the piano component from a piano concerto-a challenge compounded by the diverse range of instruments and the dynamic shifts in volume and timbre. Unlike traditional music separation tasks, the piano’s distinct characteristics and its interaction with the orchestra demand a more nuanced *** address the scarcity of multi-track recordings for piano concertos, this research pioneers an artificial data synthesis strategy to create a robust training dataset. We introduce a novel hybrid deep learning model that integrates Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks with Transformer architecture, capitalizing on their complementary strengths to distinguish piano melodies from the rich tapestry of orchestral sounds. Our experiments demonstrate that this hybrid approach significantly outperforms conventional methods, with an improvement of 3.18 dB in signal-to-distortion ratio. These results not only validate the efficacy of proposed method but also pave the way for innovative applications in classical music source separation.

The problem of knowledge-aided (KA) covariance matrix estimation in airborne radar space-time adaptive processing (STAP) is studied in this paper. In the traditional KA covariance matrix estimation methods, the insufficient number of available samples and inaccurate prior knowledge can cause serious deterioration of STAP performance. To tackle this problem, a new KA covariance matrix estimation algorithm based on geometric mean is proposed. Specifically, by utilizing the persymmetric structure information as well as the geometric mean in the space of positive definite matrices, a geometric mean estimator is constructed, which is then linearly combined with the prior covariance matrix to obtain a new type of CCM estimators. Simulation results illustrate that the proposed algorithm has good STAP performance with small samples and inaccurate prior knowledge. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2023.

In order to solve the problem of rapid switching of space equipment in the cultural complex, this paper combines Moth-Flame optimization Algorithm (MFO) and Dynamic Window Approach (DWA) to realize the hybrid path planning of handling robots in dynamic environments. Compared with the mainstream algorithms, the Moth-Flame optimization algorithm has the best performance. Different paths were classified and judged, and the global path planning based on MFO was proposed. The intersection of the dynamic obstacle and the global path were detected, and the dynamic window approach was used for local path planning in the road section where the collision occurs. Finally the combination of the global path planning and the local dynamic obstacle avoidance was realized. The effect of the hybrid path planning algorithm in the complex environment of the cultural complex had been verified. © 2022 IEEE.

Multipath planning aims to find multiple optimal paths simultaneously, and its essence is a multimodal optimization problem. In recent years, swarm intelligence (SI) optimization algorithms have provided effective solutions for multimodal optimization. In this paper, the multimodal optimization slime mold algorithm (MOSMA) based on master-slave structure and local search strategy (LS) is proposed to solve multipath planning problems in small cultural complex. Firstly, a local search strategy is introduced to eliminate the influence of the “centerbias” operator and improve the quality of solutions. Secondly, the master-salves structure is introduced to preserve the diversity of the population and enable it to simultaneously locate multiple solutions. Finally, the performance of MOSMA is analyzed on several multimodal functions, and an example of path planning in a small cultural complex is given.

With the acceleration of modernization and the rapid development of popular music, the splendid culture of Guqin, a type of Chinese traditional musical instrument which has lasted for nearly 1,000 years, is facing a serious inheritance crisis. Therefore, how to make full use of modern technical means to digitally store and manage the valuable traditional music cultural resources is the current *** response to the aforementioned challenges, this study focuses on the Guqin, an emblematic Chinese traditional musical instrument. By employing advanced audio feature extraction techniques, this research systematically analyzes the diverse playing techniques of Guqin, thereby establishing a comprehensive acoustic dataset. This endeavor not only facilitates the digital preservation and management of the Guqin’s musical heritage but also pioneers a standardized framework for the creation of acoustic datasets. This framework serves as a benchmark for the development of similar datasets, thereby promoting the conservation and standardization of resources associated with Chinese traditional musical instruments. This will provide a scientific basis for the inheritance, standardized management and construction of more acoustic datasets of ethnic musical instruments in the future.

Virtual concerts have become an emerging form of music performance, and it casts a perspective on the development and exploration of real-time interactive virtual spaces as well as the creation of digital twins. This paper introduces a customizable interactive immersive concert hall system, which can meet the diverse needs of different roles such as audiences, musicians, conductors and audio engineers. It supports switching between different concert hall scenes, changing the placement of orchestra, adjusting instrument volume, and listening to selected instrument ensembles while performing in the concert hall. The system also supports real-time switching between different music pickup types and microphone frequency responses. Urban rail transit (URT) is vulnerable to natural disasters and social emergencies including fire, storm and epidemic (such as COVID-19), and real-time origin-destination (OD) flow prediction provides URT operators with important information to ensure the safety of URT system. However, hindered by the high dimensionality of OD flow and the lack of supportive information reflecting the real-time passenger flow changes, study in this area is at the beginning stage. A novel model consisting of two stages is proposed for OD flow prediction. The first stage predicts the inflows of all stations by Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) in real time, where the dimension is reduced compared with predicting OD flows directly. In the second stage, the notion of separation rate, namely, the proportion of inbound passengers bounding for another station, is estimated. Finally, The OD flow is predicted by multiplying the inflow and separation rate. Experiments based on Hangzhou Metro dataset show the proposed model outperforms the contrast model in weighted mean average error (WMAE) and weighted mean square error (WMSE). Results also suggest that the proposed prediction model performs better on weekdays than on weekends, and with greater accuracy on larger OD flows. © 2000-2011 IEEE.

A prediction method of distributed photovoltaic accommodation capability is proposed based on ridge regression. First, the factors influencing the distributed photovoltaic accommodation capacity are analyzed, and the concept of the contribution degree of distributed photovoltaic accommodation is introduced. The gray relation analysis method is used to evaluate the correlation between different factors and distributed photovoltaic accommodation, and a model of factors affecting distributed photovoltaic accommodation is constructed. Then, a prediction model of distributed photovoltaic accommodation capability is established based on ridge regression. The factors with high photovoltaic accommodation contribution degrees are incorporated in the prediction model. The mapping relationship between the driving factors of distributed photovoltaic accommodation and the prediction model is derived, then the development strategies for future photovoltaic accommodation capacity are formulated. Finally, simulation is performed on the SPSSPRO platform, and the results show that the proposed method can predict the distributed photovoltaic accommodation capability accurately and provide strategic suggestions for improving future photovoltaic accommodation capacity. © State Grid Electric Power 2025.

This paper examines the event-triggered consensus of the multi-agent system on matrix-weighted networks, where the interdependencies among higher-dimensional states of neighboring agents are characterized by matrix-weighted edges in the network. Specifically, a novel distributed dynamic event-triggered coordination strategy is proposed for this category of generalized networks, in which an auxiliary system is employed for each agent to dynamically adjust the triggering threshold, which plays an essential role in guaranteeing that the triggering time sequence does not exhibit Zeno behavior. Distributed event-triggered control protocols are proposed to guarantee leaderless consensus for multi-agent systems on matrix-weighted networks, respectively. Remarkably, the spectrum of matrix-valued weights is crucial in event-triggered mechanism design for matrix-weighted networks, generalizing those results only applicable for scalar-weighted networks. The proposed approach allows each agent to broadcast and receive information only at its triggering instants. Finally, simulation examples are provided to demonstrate the theoretical results. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Microwave brightness temperature(TB)can be used to retrieve lake ice thickness in the Arctic and subarctic ***,the accuracy of the retrieval is affected by the physical properties of lake *** improve the understanding of how lake ice affects TB,numerical modeling was *** study combined a physical thermodynamic ice model HIGHTSI with a microwave radiation transfer model SMRT to simulate the TB and lake ice evolution in 2002-2011 in Hulun Lake,*** reanalyzed meteorological data were used as atmospheric *** ice season was divided into the growth period,the slow growth period,and the ablation *** simulations revealed that TB was highly sensitive to ice thickness during the ice season,especially vertical polarization measurement at 18.7 *** quadratic polynomial fit for ice thickness to TB outperformed the linear fit,regardless of whether lake ice contained bubbles or not.A comparison of the simulated TB with space-borne TB showed that the simulated TB had the best accuracy during the slow growth period,with a minimum RMSE of 4.6 *** results were influenced by the bubble radius and *** findings enhance comprehension of the interaction between lake ice properties(including ice thickness,bubbles,and salinity)and TB during ice seasons,offering insights to sea ice in the Arctic and subarctic freshwater observations.
