Currently, protocol fuzzing techniques mainly employ two approaches: greybox fuzzing based on mutation and blackbox fuzzing based on generation. Greybox fuzzing techniques use message exchanges between the protocol server and actual clients as seeds, and generate test cases through mutation. Although this approach can provide coverage information of the SUT's code and state space through instrumentation and feedback, its drawback lies in the relatively random mutation strategy, which makes it challenging to validate the SUT's message verification process. This paper addresses this limitation by utilizing artificial intelligence techniques to extract protocol state machines. It aims to overcome the reliance on manual work in blackbox fuzzing based on generation and leverage its advantages to generate more effective fuzzing test cases. The study utilizes Prompt-Learning technology to analyze the semantic information in protocol RFC documents, obtain corresponding intermediate representations, and extract protocol state machines from these representations. Taking the BGP protocol as an experimental subject, the experimental results demonstrate a certain level of accuracy in the obtained protocol state machines and the ability to generate test cases from these state machines, thereby enhancing the automation level of protocol fuzzing.

A Game-Theoretic Approach for Satellites Beam Scheduling and Power Control in a Mega Hybrid Constellation Spectrum Sharing Scenario

A mega hybrid constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Geosynchronous Orbit (GEO) satellites represents a typical architecture for future space networks. However, the emergence of such large constellations exacerbates the shortage of spectrum resources. To address this issue, this paper investigates a hierarchical optimization method for beam scheduling and power control of LEO satellites, aiming to extend the available spectrum by sharing the downlink spectrum of GEO satellites. In the upper-layer optimization, a many-to-one matching game model is constructed to achieve optimal matching of LEO satellite beams and LEO Users (LU). A distributed beam matching learning algorithm (DBMLA) is designed to find a stable matching solution for the model, with the convergence of the algorithm theoretically proven. In the lower-layer optimization, an LEO beam power level optimization game model is developed for discrete LEO beam power levels. This model is demonstrated to be an exact potential game with at least one Nash Equilibrium (NE). To solve this NE, a dynamic power allocation logarithmic learning algorithm (DPALLA) is proposed. Simulation results verify that the proposed DBMLA-DPALLA hierarchical optimization scheme effectively balances convergence time and accuracy compared to traditional independent optimization strategies. By leveraging the combined effects of the two optimization strategies, it better mitigates the co-channel interference experienced by GEO satellites and improves the average network satisfaction of the LUs. © 2025 IEEE.

In light of the growing complexity of the electromagnetic environment, traditional jamming decision-making methods have become less effective due to poor generalization and inefficient jamming performance. This paper proposes a jamming decision-making method based on next state prediction SAC (Soft Actor-Critic) to address this issue. Firstly, we design the state, action, and reward elements under electronic warfare scenarios. Secondly, a next state prediction critic network is proposed to accurately estimate the value function by modeling the environment dynamics and extracting richer representational information. Finally, a negative activation ReLU is introduced to improve the utilization ratio of network parameters. Simulation results show that the proposed method achieves a 98.4% success rate at a distance of 90 km from the radar and a 70.0% success rate at 30 km. Therefore, this method exhibits good adaptability and jamming performance in the field of jamming decision-making. © 2023 IEEE.

A lunar regolith in-situ analysis payload deploying a mass spectrometer is proposed to exactly detect the water ice of the South Pole of the moon for China future lunar exploration missions. In order to realize the goal, an airtight heating furnace for volatile extraction from lunar regolith is desired. In this paper, sealing methods for lunar regolith volatile in heating furnace to future proposed in-situ sampling and analysis of lunar samples were investigated based on power requirements, furnace closing accuracy requirements, dust tolerance and operation in the Lunar environment. Methods implemented include a balanced metal hollow ring seal, a double channel ferrule tab ring radial seal and a spring energized seal. Comparing the performance of sealing methods under the above conditions, a spring energized seal is selected as the heating furnace seal. The materials and structure of the seal are designed based on the rigidity requirements, leakage rate requirements and working environment requirements. In order to test the sealing performance of seals after repeated sealing in high and low temperature environments, a seal leak detection system was designed. The test results indicate that the seal can meet the sealing performance requirements after repeated sealing at various temperatures. © 2023 IEEE.

Using Lock-Free Design for Throughput-Optimized Cache Eviction

In large-scale information systems, storage device performance continues to improve while workloads expand in size and access characteristics. This growth puts tremendous pressure on caches and storage hierarchy in terms of concurrent throughput. However, existing cache eviction policies often struggle to provide adequate concurrent throughput due to their reliance on coarse-grained locking mechanisms and complex data structures. This paper presents a practical approach to cache eviction algorithm design, called Mobius, that optimizes the concurrent throughput of caches and reduces cache operation latency by utilizing lock-free data structures, while maintaining comparable hit ratios. Mobius includes two key designs. First, Mobius employs two lock-free FIFO queues to manage cache items, ensuring that all cache operations are executed efficiently in parallel. Second, Mobius integrates a consecutive detection mechanism that merges multiple modifications during eviction into a single operation, thereby reducing data races. Extensive evaluations using both synthetic and real-world workloads from high-concurrency clusters demonstrate that Mobius achieves a concurrent-throughput improvement ranging from 1.2× to 8.5× over state-of-the-art methods, while also maintaining lower latency and comparable cache hit ratios. The implementation of Mobius in CacheLib and RocksDB highlights its effectiveness in enhancing cache performance in practical scenarios.

The non-terrestrial network (NTN) receives considerable attentions due to the development of the sixth generation technologies in recent years. However, the mobility and heterogeneity of satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles in NTN lead to increasing challenges in resource allocation and management. As such, the network function virtualization technology is introduced, by deploying service function chains (SFCs) to achieve requirements. However, it brings conflicts and resource competition due to urgent unexpected tasks. Therefore, scheduling multiple SFCs in NTN is a crucial issue. In this paper, a task-oriented service provision and scheduling model is proposed to tackle the dynamic complexity of NTN by designing the reconfigurable time extension graph. Subsequently, the SFC scheduling problem is formulated to maximize the number of completed tasks within limited resources and time constraints. Due to the problem form of integer linear programming, we propose a deep reinforcement learning based algorithm. Finally, simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, indicating its superior performance over other benchmark algorithms. © 2024 IEEE.

The existing group public key encryption with equality test schemes could only support one-to-one data sharing and are not suitable for cloud-assisted autonomous transportation systems, which demand one-to-many data sharing. To tackle this problem efficiently, in this article, we put forward the group-attribute-based encryption with equality test (G-ABEET) scheme. The presented G-ABEET allows sensors equipped in vehicles to encrypt traffic data with an expressive access policy before sharing it. Only users with attributes required by the access policy ought to access the shared ciphertexts, thus achieving selective one-to-many data sharing. Meanwhile, the authorized cloud server could provide group users with equality tests over the ciphertexts, realizing ciphertext search ability. Furthermore, with the group mechanism, the G-ABEET scheme could resist offline message recovery attacks. Besides, in the standard model, we give rigorous security proof of the G-ABEET construction. The feasibility and efficiency of G-ABEET are demonstrated by experimental simulations. © 2005-2012 IEEE.

Intelligent Cyber-Physical systems typically utilize sensors to gather a significant amount of raw data which often possesses temporal and high-dimensional characteristics. Ensuring the data reliability is crucial for the normal operation of the system. While most existing methods are capable of identifying anomalies in high-dimensional time series data from sensors, they often lack adequate accuracy and fail to adequately consider the correlation between sensor nodes. To address these limitations, we propose an unsupervised framework which is a combination of variational autoencoder and graph neural network(VG-Net). By jointly optimizing the reconstruction module and the prediction module, VG-Net effectively models the correlation between sensor nodes while simultaneously detecting anomalies. The reconstruction module is responsible for modeling the latent representation space and reconstructing the time series data through variational autoencoder. The prediction module leverages bidirectional long short term memory networks and neural tensor network to learn the relationships between sensor nodes, and uses graph neural network to predict the future behavior of the data. Experiments on eight real and synthetic datasets demonstrate that, compared with existing methods, VG-Net can accurately model the relationship between sensor nodes and enhance the anomaly detection performance of high-dimensional time series data. © 2024 IEEE.

Mountains are important suppliers of freshwater to downstream areas,affecting large populations in particular in High Mountain Asia(HMA).Yet,the propagation of water from HMA headwaters to downstream areas is not fully understood,as interactions in the mountain water cycle between the cryo-,hydro-and biosphere remain *** review the definition of blue and green water fluxes as liquid water that contributes to runoff at the outlet of the selected domain(blue)and water lost to the atmosphere through vapor fluxes,that is evaporation from water,ground,and interception plus transpiration(green)and propose to add the term white water to account for the(often neglected)evaporation and sublimation from snow and *** provide an assessment of models that can simulate the cryo-hydro-biosphere continuum and the interactions between spheres in high mountain catchments,going beyond disciplinary *** surface models are uniquely able to account for such complexity,since they solve the coupled fluxes of water,energy,and carbon between the land surface and *** to the mechanistic nature of such models,specific variables can be compared systematically to independent remote sensing observations-providing vital insights into model accuracy and enabling the understanding of the complex watersheds of *** discuss recent developments in spaceborne earth observation products that have the potential to support catchment modeling in high mountain *** then present a pilot study application of the mechanistic land surface model Tethys & Chloris to a glacierized watershed in the Nepalese Himalayas and discuss the use of high-resolution earth observation data to constrain the meteorological forcing uncertainty and validate model *** use these insights to highlight the remaining challenges and future opportunities that remote sensing data presents for land surface modeling in HMA.
