In this paper, a distributed adaptive dynamic programming(ADP) framework based on value iteration is proposed for multi-player differential games. In the game setting,players have no access to the information of others' system parameters or control laws. Each player adopts an on-policy value iteration algorithm as the basic learning framework. To deal with the incomplete information structure, players collect a period of system trajectory data to compensate for the lack of information. The policy updating step is implemented by a nonlinear optimization problem aiming to search for the proximal admissible policy. Theoretical analysis shows that by adopting proximal policy searching rules, the approximated policies can converge to a neighborhood of equilibrium policies. The efficacy of our method is illustrated by three examples, which also demonstrate that the proposed method can accelerate the learning process compared with the centralized learning framework.

Infrared Dim Small Target Detection Algorithm based on Adaptive Attention Transformer Network

This paper presents a novel algorithm for detecting infrared dim small targets in complex backgrounds by integrating both global and local feature information. The proposed method employs an adaptive attention transformer network which addresses challenges associated with computational complexity and information redundancy in traditional self-attention mechanisms. A global context aggregation module is designed to address the loss of small target features in high-level feature maps. This module compensates for spatial distribution information during the multi-scale feature fusion process, ensuring the preservation of target features. Comparison experiments were conducted on two datasets, NUAA-SIRST and IRSTD-1k. The proposed algorithm achieved 0.784 for mIoU and 0.878 for F-measure on NUAA-SIRST, 0.632 for mIoU and 0.807 for F-measure on IRST-1k, all of which are the highest values. The proposed algorithm shows a significant improvement over other existing detection algorithms, demonstrating its capability to accurately extract both local and global features of targets with high recall rates and low false alarm rates across various scenarios. A compact high flux polarized neutron beam generator

This paper introduced a compact high flux polarized neutron beam generator scheme, which used air as the working medium and had low energy consumption. The neutron beam generator adopted a linear three compartment configuration, sequentially using nitrogen nucleus tandem near range accelerated polarization target spallation nuclear reaction technology, neutron multiplication technology, neutron beam polarization and near range acceleration technology, neutron focusing and shooting control technology. Through design and equivalent verification, it has been proven that the total length of the device does not exceed 5 m, the effective range can reach several hundred kilometers, the neutron flux at the muzzle is not less than 1025 n·cm−2·s−1, which attenuates to 1010 n·cm−2·s−1 at a distance of several 100 km, and this flux can effectively strike the target. It can be used as a defensive directed energy weapon with high energy density and has broad application prospects. © 2025 China Ordnance Society

Enhancing the reactivity and combustion efficiency of Al@AP by precise catalysis of MoO3-x quantum dots with oxygen vacancy

Aluminum (Al) can significantly improve the energy density and specific impulse (Isp) of solid rocket propellants as the primary metal fuel, but its incomplete combustion results in an undesirable energy release performance. The strategy of fuel/oxidizer interfacial control has been proved to effectively enhance the reaction efficiency of Al-based composites and thus improving the combustion properties of solid propellants. Ammonium perchlorate (AP) is commonly used as a high-energy oxidizer in solid propellant, and its thermal decomposition behavior directly affects the combustion characteristics of propellants. The addition of combustion catalysts can decrease thermal decomposition temperature and increase thermal reactivity of AP. As an emerging catalytic material, MoO3-x quantum dots (QDs) with oxygen vacancies possess a high specific surface and strong charge adsorption capacity, which renders it a great potential for catalyzing AP. In this study, MoO3-x QDs were introduced as catalyst and compared with traditional nano-metal oxides (MxOy), the spherical Al@AP/MxOy composites with polydopamine as interfacial layer were prepared by spray drying method. The particle morphology, thermal decomposition kinetics and ignition properties of Al@AP/MxOy were investigated. The phase composition, morphology and particle size distribution for the condensed combustion products of composites were further analyzed. The decreased particle size and less unreacted Al content in CCPs indicated the increase of combustion efficiency between Al and AP. In particular, Al@AP/MoO3-x has the higher heat of reaction, lower thermal decomposition temperature and small CCPs particle size distribution, which collectively suggested that the MoO3-x is capable to improve the thermal reactivity of Al@AP composites with a higher combustion efficiency. © 2025 Elsevier B.V.

Optimization of Hypersonic Vehicle Configuration Design for Wide-speed-range Morphing Flight

The fixed-configuration waverider often fails to deliver optimal performance across a wide range of flight speeds. Research is conducted on the configuration design optimization of a morphing hypersonic waverider vehicle. Initially，the corresponding optimization framework for the morphing vehicle is established. A class function/shape function transformation（CST）parameterization method for the morphing waverider configuration，which accounts for leading edge variation，is proposed. Subsequently，the Kriging-assisted constrained differential evolution algorithm is employed to efficiently determine the optimal waverider configuration under various conditions，based on an aerodynamics-aerothermodynamics-trajectory morphing assessment model. Compared to the initial fixed configuration，the morphing strategy utilizing optimal configurations significantly enhances wide-speed range flight performance. On average，the lift-to-drag ratio is increased by 4. 82%，and the range is improved by 4. 13%. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the morphing configuration optimization and offer valuable insights for the design of hypersonic morphing aircraft. © 2025 Chinese Society of Astronautics. In order to study the damage effect of typical armored vehicle exterior components under ballistic impact load, it is used to simulate the damage process of LS-DYNA. In order to obtain the influence law of strong impact load on the external components of typical armored vehicles, the kinetic energy bomb and armored vehicle model are established for simulation, and the damage effect of typical armored vehicles under strong impact overload is analyzed. The results show that during the impact process, the fuel tank and view are safer, the failure probability is small, and the gun pipe has a certain safety *** analyzing the number of fragments in the fragment field formed by the first armored center of the T90, it can be determined that the scattered fragments are likely to penetrate the glass structure of the viewing part. The remaining parts are armored steel, and the track and wheel structure have no damage risk. © 2025 SPIE.

Entire aerial-aquatic trajectory modeling and optimization for trans-medium vehicles

Trans-medium flight vehicles can combine high aerial maneuverability and underwater concealment ability, which have attracted much attention recently. As the most crucial procedure, the trajectory design generally determines the trans-medium flight vehicle performance. To quantitatively analyze the flight vehicle performance, an entire aerial-aquatic trajectory model is developed in this paper. Different from modeling a trajectory purely for the water entry process, the constructed entire trajectory model has integrated aerial, water entry, and underwater trajectories together, which can consider the influence of the connected trajectories. As for the aerial and underwater trajectories, explicit dynamic models are established to obtain the trajectory parameters. Due to the complicated fluid force during high-velocity water entry, a computational fluid dynamics model is investigated to analyze this phase. The computational domain size is adaptively refined according to the final aerial trajectory state, where the redundant computational domain is removed. An entire trajectory optimization problem is then formulated to maximize the total flight range via tuning the joint states of different trajectories. Simultaneously, several constraints, i.e., the max impact load, trajectory height, etc., are involved in the optimization problem. Rather than directly optimizing by a heuristic algorithm, a multi-surrogate cooperative sampling-based optimization method is proposed to alleviate the computational complexity of the entire trajectory optimization problem. In this method, various surrogates cooperatively generate infill sample points, thereby preventing the poor approximation. After optimization, the total flight range can be improved by 20%, while all the constraints are satisfied. The result demonstrates the effectiveness and practicability of the developed model and optimization framework. © 2025 China Ordnance Society

Experimental Study of the Evolution of the Unstarting Flow Pattern During Self-Starting Process of a Two-Dimensional Hypersonic Inlet

To gain further insight into the evolution mechanism of the unstart flow field during the acceleration process of hypersonic inlets, this paper investigates a two-dimensional mixed-compression hypersonic inlet in a supersonic wind tunnel with a freestream Mach number of 4.0. By varying the angle of attack, the Mach number upstream of the internal contraction section was modified in order to simulate the acceleration process that would be encountered in actual flight. Numerical simulations were employed to analyze the flow details of the phenomena observed in the experiments. The experiment demonstrated that the inlet exhibits two distinct flow stages, namely the hard unstart and soft unstart states. The hard unstart flow field is quasi-steady, exhibiting only minor pressure fluctuations without a dominant frequency within the flow path. The maximum pressure fluctuations are observed at the location of the separation shock. The reattachment process of the main separation bubble in the internal contraction section and the downstream flow exhibits a non-symmetric "pseudo-shock" structure. During the swallowing process of the hard unstart main separation bubble located upstream of the cowl, it is affected by the additional adverse pressure gradient caused by the reflection of its own induced shock in the internal contraction section, resulting in its retention within the contraction section, forming a soft unstart flow field. This experiment is the first to observe a highly unsteady soft unstart flow field in the internal channel, which is a unique dynamic flow pattern influenced by the mutual coupling of the separation bubbles on both the upper and lower wall surfaces. Under small positive angles of attack, significant boundary layer separations are observed on both the upper and lower walls, accompanied by significant periodic changes in the scale, position, and shape of the two separation bubbles, leading to large oscillations in the internal flow field wave system.

Solar Insecticidal Lamps Internet of Things (SIL-IoTs), used for green agriculture, face theft and destruction due to high costs. To address this, we introduce SILC nodes by embedding cameras in SIL nodes, forming SIL-IoVTs for pest control and intruder monitoring. SIL-IoVTs involve omni-directional (SIL) and directional (camera) sensing models for area and target coverage. We formulate an optimal deployment model and develop a bi-level algorithm to solve it, iteratively deploying SIL nodes for pest control and cameras for monitoring. Simulation results show the method's effectiveness and progressiveness. © 2025 IEEE.
