This paper proposes a switching method based on model reference adaptive system (MRAS) from position sensor control strategy to sensorless control strategy for surface permanent magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) drives operating in medium and high velocity regions. The proposed switching method can effectively deal with the fault of the position sensor in SPMSM system, so as to improve its safety and stability. The sensor setting of control strategy consists of an actual sensor (position sensor) and the virtual sensor (MRAS). When the system position sensor has no fault, the feedback value of the position sensor has a greater weight on the information of the rotor position and velocity of the closed-loop system, while the weight of the MRAS estimated value is lower. When the position sensor fails, the information of the rotor position and velocity of the closed-loop system is provided by MRAS algorithm. Also, a linear weighted switching method is proposed, which can effectively reduce the motor fluctuation during the switching process. The feasibility of the proposed strategy is confirmed via simulations of SPMSM drive model in MATLAB/Simulink software. © 2023 IEEE.

A Chinese geosynchronous satellite was launched on June 23,*** carried a plasma detection package to monitor the space environment around the *** we report the inflight performance of a low energy ion spectrometer(LEIS),one of the primary instruments in the plasma detection package,and its initial observations in *** from the state-of-the-art design of a top-hat electrostatic analyzer cooperated with angular scanning deflectors,three-dimensional measurement of ions in space with a large field of view of 360°×90°and a wide energy range from 50 eV to 25 keV per charge has been *** differential energy flux spectra of ions around the orbit have shown clear signatures of surface charging and storm/substorm ion *** occurrence of surface charging could be caused by the lack of photoemission at the Earth's eclipse(near the midnight)or the storm energetic electron injection at the dawn *** present results demonstrated a good performance of the LEIS payload in flight for monitoring the space ion environment around the *** situ measurements of the LEIS payload provide us an opportunity to understand the magnetospheric ion dynamics and forecast the associate space weather impacts.

With the continuous improvement of optical performance requirements, weaponry, space observation, laser fusion, extreme ultraviolet lithography, and other fields of optical components of increasing precision requirements, the number of requirements is increasingly large, so the processing of optical components faces serious challenges. Pulsed Ion Beam Shaping is a non-contact optical component machining technology. Pulsed Ion Beam Shaping has the advantages of atomic-level machining accuracy and no edge effect. The ability of pulsed ion beam reshaping mainly depends on factors such as the stability of the removal function, the dynamic performance of the machine's motion axes, and the size of the removal function. At present, due to the difficulty of further improving the dynamic performance of the machine tool, a single beam diameter, and removal efficiency of the removal function for processing, trimming efficiency is not high, and can only be balanced according to the needs of trimming efficiency and accuracy. Thus, we proposed a pulsed ion beam reshaping processing method based on a controlled removal function to achieve the optimal beam diameter selected by the removal function according to the different reshaping face shapes, which improves the reshaping capability of the pulsed ion beam while reducing the additional material removal layer to ensure high processing efficiency. The main research on the shaping method based on the controlled time-varying removal function is carried out, the shaping model based on the controlled time-varying removal function and the residence time solution model are analyzed, the global optimization algorithm based on the error distribution of the surface shape and the removal function library, and the optimal combination of the removal function under the constraints is established, and the theory of the shaping of the controlled time-varying removal function is perfected, and the iterative genetic algorithms, variation and crosso

An all-solid-state high-voltage pulse generator based on the bipolar Marx circuit is presented in this paper. A drive circuit of the silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs based on the magnetic core transforms is used to transmit the drive signals, in order to get the magnetic isolation of the drive circuit to the main Marx circuit and improve the consistency of the devices' operation. First, the topology and operating principles of the generator are described, and main components of the generator are designed. Then, the detailed circuit of the magnetic isolated drive is presented and operational principles are analyzed. Finally, experiments are carried out and the test results show that the developed bipolar Marx pulse generator can output the polarity adjustable pulse with the amplitude of ±5kV, and rising edge of 26ns and falling edge of 96ns. © 2023 IEEE.

One key strategy to enhance photocatalytic performance is to improve the transfer and separation efficiency of photogenerated carriers by building optimized ***,novel Bi_(4)O_5Br_(2)/NH_(2)-MIL-125(Ti)Z-scheme heterojunctions are fabricated and used as photocatalysts for organic pollutant *** NH_(2)-MIL-125(Ti)nanosheets are exfoliated via a self-developed alkali solution stripping approach and then uniformly decorated on Bi_(4)O_(5)Br_(2).The as-prepared Bi_(4)O_(5)Br_(2)/NH_(2)-MIL-125(Ti)presents more than 90%degradation of various pollutants,outperforming the counterpart individual *** various characterization results suggest that the enhanced degradation rate is due to the more intimate face-to-face interfacial contact of the lamellar Z-scheme heterojunction materials,in which the migration path of carriers from the material's interior to the surface can be reduced,in turn enhancing migration efficiency and separation capability significantly.A possible photocatalytic reaction mechanism is proposed based on the photoelectric behaviors,radical trapping experiments and liquid chromatography mass spectrometry *** work promotes the development of new photocatalytic materials for heterojunctions with face-to-face interfacial contacts,as well as the effective purification of wastewater in environmental remediation.

Large-scale two-dimensional gratings are typically produced using reactive ion beam scanning etching. However, this method is limited by uneven etching depth, which can negatively impact the performance of large-aperture gratings. To address this issue, we propose optimizing the scanning strategy during reactive etching to improve uniformity. Based on the specific beam distribution, we have established a row spacing calculation model using the convolution algorithm. In the actual reaction etching experiment, we found that a row spacing of only 16 mm resulted in a uniformity within the etching range of 600 mm that was better than 6%. This improvement enhances the diffraction uniformity of the grating. Simulation and experiment were used to verify the influence of row spacing on the uniformity of surface grooves during etching. This method was then used to significantly improve the uniformity of grating etching depth after processing. Therefore, the proposed optimization method of reactive etching scanning strategy has a good industrial application prospect for large-scale two-dimensional grating, wafer etching, and large-scale integrated circuit manufacturing. © 2024 SPIE.

Dynamics and stability analysis of unbalance responses in mid-positioned electrically assisted turbocharger rotor

Electrically assisted turbochargers(EAT)improve intake efficiency by motor-assisted compressor impeller rotation,enhancing the system's transient ***,the addition of motor rotor components has increased the number of unbalanced positions in the shaft system,leading to problems such as excessive compressor end vibration and complex changes in oil film *** evaluate the effects of unbalance in the motor rotor,along with the parameters of floating ring bearings(FRB),on the dynamic response of EAT,a finite element model of an EAT rotor supported by nonlinear FRB is developed,and the vibration response of the compressor end bearing is obtained by numerical *** results indicate:(1)In contrast to the effect of compressor and turbine unbalance,proper motor rotor unbalance is more effective in suppressing oil whirl instability in the high-speed operating ***,a new inner oil film whirl“instability interval”is also induced in the low-speed operating range,leading to an increase in the Y1 compressor-end amplitude at low and medium speeds,and this“instability interval”increases with the amount of unbalance.(2)When an oil whirl occurs in the oil film,the maximum eccentricity of the bearing surges and is greater than 0.3,which can be used as an effective threshold for determining whether the oil film is unstable in engineering applications.(3)A suitable outer oil-film clearance range should be 35–40μm,otherwise,a wide range of outer oil-film whirl instability *** the amount of unbalance and oil-film clearance to suppress the subsynchronous vibration of the EAT,provides a theoretical basis for the design of the dynamics of the nonlinear rotor bearing system and improves the stability of the turbocharger's operation.
