Adsorption of typical gasoline vapor emitted from service stations by commercial activated carbon:static/dynamic adsorption and kinetics simulation

Gasoline vapor emissions from service stations significantly affect urban *** the research on the mechanisms and effectiveness of gasoline vapor removal is limited,this study innovatively investigates the static and dynamic adsorption of xylene—a typical gasoline vapor and one of the most active secondary organic aerosol(SOA)species—by commercial activated carbon(AC).The results showed that the saturation static adsorption capacity(Q_(e))of 12 ACs varied from 0.9 to 870.7 mg/g,which correlated with the specific surface area(SSA)and pore *** them,11#and 12#ACs were identified as the most effective adsorbents for typical gasoline vapor *** maximum dynamic Q_(e) increased from 301.5 to 414.3 mg/g when the initial xylene concentration rose from 918 to 2008 mg/m^(3) for 11#AC,and from 201.4 to 406.2 mg/g when the initial xylene concentration increased from 589 to 2120 mg/m^(3) for 12#*** findings implied a direct correlation between higher initial xylene concentrations and greater dynamic Q_(e) values,with static Q_(e) values surpassing dynamic *** adsorption kinetics simulation were analyzed by the pseudo-first-order(PFO)and pseudo-second-order(PSO)*** kinetics results demonstrated that the PFO was more effective in characterizing the adsorption of xylene onto ACs(R2>0.989),indicating that the adsorption of typical gasoline vapor by ACs primarily involves physical *** findings of static/dynamic adsorption and kinetics provide valuable guidance for practical applications of gasoline vapor removal in service stations.

This study aimed to investigate the erosion behavior and mechanism of a newly developed 25Cr3Mo2WNiV steel with a chrome coating using promoted ignition combustion *** erosion threshold pressure and temperature of the chrome-coated 25Cr3Mo2WNiV steel were determined to be 0.2 MPa and 254.3 K higher than those of traditional chrome-coated 30SiMn2MoV ***,Kirkendall voids and inter-diffusion between the Cr coating and matrix were first observed before *** improved erosion resistance of the chrome-coated 25Cr3Mo2WNiV steel was attributed to the suppression of the Kirkendall effect,which minimized heat generation at the Cr/matrix interface by pre-venting oxygen diffusion and reducing oxygen affinity.

Pseudocapacitance dominated Li_(3)VO_(4)encapsulated in N-doped graphene via 2D nanospace confined synthesis for superior lithium ion capacitors

A pseudocapacitance dominated anode material assembled from Li_(3)VO_(4)nanocrystals encapsulated in the interlayers of N-doped graphene has been developed via a facile 2D nanospace confined strategy for lithium ion capacitors(LICs).In this contribution,the N-doped graphene synthesized by a faicle solid state reaction using C_(3)N_(4)nanosheets as template and glucose as carbon source provides sufficient 2D nanospace for the confined and homogeneous growth of Li_(3)VO_(4)at the nanoscale,and simultaneously efficiently anchors each nanobuilding block inside the interlayers,thus realizing the utilizaiton of full potential of active *** so-formed 3D hybrids not only ensure intimate electronic coupling between active materials and N-doped graphene,but also realize robust structure *** to these unique advantages,the resulting hybrids show pseudocapacitance dominated lithium storage behaviors with capacitive contributions of over 90%at both low and high current *** LVO@C@NG delivers reversible capacities of 206 mAh/g at 10 A/g,capacity retention of 92.7%after 1000 cycles at 2 A/g,and a high energy density of 113.6 Wh/kg at 231.8 W/kg for LICs.

Improving aircraft nose wheel steering stability based on control continuation method

Aircraft steering instability during the taxiing process sometimes occurs resulting from the unstable bifurcation phenomena of the nonlinear steering dynamic system,which may lead to severe *** this study,the control parameter design of an aircraft nose wheel steering control system based on the control continuation method is proposed to reduce the number of unstable bifurcation points and enlarge the system stable region area in a certain parameter ***,the aircraft turning performance can be improved ***,a nonlinear aircraft rollout dynamic model is constructed,and the aircraft ground steering bifurcation characteristics are obtained under the open-loop steering control ***,the bifurcation performances under three closed-loop nose wheel steering controllers based on the feedback control method are compared,and the control parameter of the quadratic nonlinear controller with a better bifurcation control effect is selected as a second bifurcation parameter to analyze the directional system stability via two-parameter bifurcation ***,the influence of a crosswind on the aircraft ground steering bifurcation performance is studied for various control parameter ***,the control effects of a traditional proportional-integral-derivative(PID)nose wheel steering control law and the designed feedback controller are compared and ***,a semi-physical experiment of the aircraft nose wheel steering system is carried out,and different control parameter values are selected for test verification,which can further verify the control effect of the designed nonlinear feedback *** results indicate that the feedback control method is unable to vary the system bifurcation types,but appropriate control parameter design can effectively shrink the system instability region and even eliminate the unstable Hopf bifurcation points under some specific working conditions,improving the aircraft ground turning stability re

In order to improve the maneuvering control ability at high angle of attack, this paper designs the commonly used thrust vector aircraft model. Based on the model, the longitudinal control law design of aircraft is studied by combining the dynamic inversion method with the incremental dynamic inversion method. This paper uses the dynamic inversion and incremental dynamic inversion method in the inner loop and outer loop of the model design of the new control system. Compared with the traditional dynamic inverse control method, the longitudinal control method proposed in this paper has better control performance and is more stable. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Carbonyl iron absorbers(CI)face significant challenges in practical applications,such as corrosion,interface bonding failure,detachment,and high maintenance ***,we have developed intelligent self-healing technology based on proactive/passive mechanisms via in situ synthesis of self-healing factors(polydopamine/benzotriazole(PDA/BTA))and physical barrier layers(SiO_(2)/1,1,1,3,3,3-hexamethyl disilazane,SiO_(2)/HMDS)to enhance corrosion resistance,while also being compatible with efficient microwave absorption *** unique multiscale structure gives full play to the utilization of the roles of each functional layer,including the intelligent self-healing features of PDA/BTA,physical shielding and spatial confinement characteristics of SiO_(2)/HMDS,and magnetic-dielectric synergistic mechanism resulted from the good impedance matching characteristics,the conduction loss,the interfacial polarization loss and natural *** asfabricated composites achieved an exceptional minimum reflection loss value of-55.4 dB at 10.7 GHz and the effective absorption band of 7.6 ***,it still exhibits obvious self-healing and corrosion resistance characteristics after 360 h corrosion treatment,ascribed to the self-healing mechanism of PDA/BTA and the blocking intervention effect of SiO_(2)/*** work is considered to pave the way for the synthesis of high-performance magnetic absorbers,especially in enhancing their intelligent self-healing ability in corrosive environments.

Digitally-Assisted Analog Self-Interference Cancellation for STAR System

To enable simultaneous transmit and receive(STAR)on the same frequency in a densely deployed space with multi-interference sources,this work proposes a digitally-assisted analog selfinterference cancellation method,which can acquire reference signals through flexible wired/wireless switching *** on this method,the Minimum Mean Square Error algorithm with known channel state information is derived in detail,determining the upper limit of the cancellation performance,and the Adaptive Dithered Linear Search algorithm for real-time engineering cancellation is *** correctness of theoretical analysis is verified by the practical self-interference channel measured by a vector network ***,we have designed and implemented the corresponding multiinterference cancellation prototype with the digitallyassisted structure,capable of handling multiple interferences(up to three)and supporting a large receive bandwidth of 100 MHz as well as a wide frequency coverage from 30 MHz to 3000 *** test results demonstrate that in the presence of three interferences,when the single interference bandwidth is 0.2/2/20 MHz(corresponding to the receive bandwidth of 2/20/100 MHz),the cancellation performance can reach 46/32/22 dB or more.
