This paper aims to build up a control platform for a small quadrotor to complete the design work of flight control system, so that the quadrotor can move freely in three-dimensional space. Firstly, a reference coordinate system and the motion control model of quadrotor are established. The PID method of flight control system of quadrotor is chosen, and the attitude and position control of the aircraft are modeled and simulated in MATLAB. Secondly, the detection data of gyroscope and accelerometer are calculated preliminarily and then processed through filtering algorithm by using STM32 micro-controller. The results showed that the attitude and position loop are controlled smoothly under small-angle action, and the control law is verified. The design of the function modules of the quadrotor's attitude detection and flight control is completed. Therefore, the content of the research is generally correct and feasible. From these results, it is concluded that the hardware platform of quadrotor should be built up primarily, and the design of system software should be completed after the integration of each module. The attitude control and fixed altitude flight control of quadrotor and tracking flight mission can be achieved preliminarily in our control platform.

A low profile microstrip antenna with adjustable bandwidth around 3 GHz is proposed. The compact antenna consists of a square patch with a square aperture to tune the resonance center frequency. The input impedance bandwidth is about 2.67% with stable gain around 3.2 dBi. Besides, the 3-dB beam width is about 100°. Both the side-fed and bottom-fed modes are analyzed. According to the simulation, good broadside radiation patterns with low cross polarizations are observed in the two principal planes. The detailed design considerations are described and discussed while the surface current distribution and radiation characteristics are analyzed. This design is suitable for mobile wireless communication.

Different from the previous design strategy, herein, a cationic Ir(III) complex ([(ptbi)₂Ir(bisq)]Cl) with a small chlorine as the counterion was synthesized, which realized the formation of a solid film via a vacuum-deposition process. The white OLED, employing it as an orange-emitting layer, achieved excellent performances with a brightness of 50 122 cd m⁻², a CE of 25.5 cd A⁻¹, an EQE of 13.1%, accompanied by a low CE efficiency roll-off of 4.7%. These are the best results among evaporated cationic Ir(III)-based white OLEDs reported so far.

In this paper, we propose three automatic modulation classification classifiers based on order-statistics and reduced order-statistics, where the order-statistics are the random variables sorted by ascending order and the reduced order-statistics represent a subset of the original order-statistics. Specifically, the linear support vector machine classifier applies the linear combination of the order-statistics of the received signals, while the approximate maximum likelihood and the backpropagation neural networks (BPNNs) classifier resort to the reduced order-statistics to decrease the computational complexity. Moreover, BPNN is applicable for modulation classification both in known and unknown channel scenarios. It is shown that in the known channel scenario, the proposed classifiers provide a good tradeoff between performance and computational complexity, while in the unknown channel scenario, the proposed BPNN classifier outperforms the expectation maximization classifier in terms of both classification performance and computational complexity. Simulations results are provided to evaluate the proposed classifiers. © 2016 IEEE.

Tunable superconductivity in parent cuprate Pr2CuO4±δ thin films

In this article, we studied the role of oxygen in Pr2CuO4±δ thin films fabricated by polymer assisted deposition method. The magnetoresistance and Hall resistivity of Pr2CuO4±δ samples were systematically investigated. It is found that with decreasing the oxygen content, the low-temperature Hall coefficient (RH) and magnetoresistance change from negative to positive, similar to those with the increase of Ce-doped concentration in R2−xCexCuO4 (R= La, Nd, Pr, Sm, Eu). In addition, Tc versus RH for both Pr2−xCexCuO4 and Pr2CuO4±δ samples can coincide with each other. We conclude that the doped electrons induced by the oxygen removal are responsible for the superconductivity of T0-phase parent compounds. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. All rights reserved.

A spherical hydrophone is developed. The equivalent circuit model and finite element model about the thin piezoelectric spherical shells have been built to predict its major performances. Some hydrophone prototypes have been fabricated and the corresponding tests in the anechoic tank have been finished. The results show that the above two way to design and simulate the thin piezoelectric spherical shells are both effective, and the prototypes have the high sensitivity of -182dB at 150 kHz.
