In order to analyze the DC integrated power systems containing a large number of switches accurately and quantitatively, this paper constructs a real-time simulation hardware-in-the-loop test platform. The platform integrates three key technologies, the first one is the real-time simulation method of large-scale power systems. This method is composed of modeling method of crucial equipment, network partitioning method, and electrical decoupling method. The second one is the construction of asynchronous communication interface. This platform realizes the function of uploading the system data to the database by UDP protocol and sending the control instructions to the system model by TCP protocol. The last one is the joint debugging of physical equipment and real-time simulator. Taking the integrated power system (IPS) as an example, the power system model is simulated by the real-time simulator, the network and energy management system are actual physical equipment, constructing the real-time simulation hardware-in-the-loop experimental platform. The real-time simulation performance and dynamic calculation results of the system verify the effectiveness of the real-time simulation method of large-scale power systems and the superiority of the platform. © 2022 IEEE.

Based on the analysis of the current characteristics of the DC side of the 12 pulse three-level rectifier, a common-model integrated reactor is proposed to suppress the DC ripple. Through magnetic-circuit coupling, the reactor can enhance the filtering effect of the main harmonic and cancel out the DC main magnetic flux in the core of the reactor, thus greatly reducing the volume, weight and cost of the reactor. Based on the theoretical analysis, a common model integrated reactor is designed and manufactured. The test results show that the proposed method not only ensures the harmonic suppression effect, but also reduces the volume, weight and cost of the reactor by more than 70% compared with the discrete filtering method. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The well-known PSDM (power/signal dual modulation) technology, which adopts the switching ripples of output voltages as the carriers of information, enables digital communication between power electronic converters without dedicated communication lines. However, the existing FSK (frequency shift keying) and PSK (phase shift keying) modulation methods both have to be carried out under the orthogonality rule, which makes it difficult for the ripple communication rate to reach the Nyquist rate. In this paper, an efficient switching ripple communication method based on non-orthogonal FSK modulation is proposed, which can achieve significantly higher bandwidth efficiency. By solving the correlation matrix equation during demodulation process, one can decode the signals carried by different carrier frequencies, which are not necessarily orthogonal to each other within the demodulation cycle. Some special measures are taken to cope with the symbols of variable lengths. Research shows that, by taking the approach based on non-orthogonal FSK modulation, one can achieve a communication rate of about 2.3 times that of the method based on orthogonal FSK modulation, which can probably exceed the Nyquist rate. Numerical results of random coding and decoding verify the validity of the theoretical method. © ACDC 2022. All rights reserved.

In order to improve the efficiency of rotating shelf scheduling, the optimal picking path optimization problem with time interval constraint (MCS-OOIP) is considered, the mathematical model of MCS-OOIP is established, and an improved hybrid particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed., By introducing the crossover strategy and mutation strategy of genetic algorithm and the acceptance criterion of simulated annealing algorithm, a hybrid particle swarm optimization algorithm for solving MCS-OOIP problem is constructed by combining it with particle swarm optimization algorithm. The simulation results are compared with the simple genetic algorithm, which shows that the algorithm can more effectively solve the MCS-OOIP problem under the single rotating shelf. The research results can be used as a reference for the transportation path optimization of rotary storage system. © 2022 IEEE.

With the development of power electronic technology, the control object of power electronic becomes more and more complex, which presents the characteristics of time-varying, nonlinear, multivariable coupling, uncertainty and so on. Besides, the power electronic system requires higher and higher control accuracy. All mentioned above make it difficult for the traditional control theory to be directly applied to the modern power electronic control. In contrast, artificial neural network has more and more applications in power electronic control due to its good nonlinear mapping and self-learning ability. This paper gives a comprehensive overview of neural network’ application in power electronic control, introduces the theme from two aspects: types of neural network and its role in power electronic control. The basic principle, improvement, typical application of neural network is described in detail. Coal dust is a fugitive and combustible pollutant leading to risks of both explosion and air pollution. Dust explosions are one of the most serious potential disasters in coal mining operations. A substantial literature on coal mine safety covers issues related to the origin, distribution, and transport of coal dust. This paper conducted a review of recent theoretical and experimental literature that are related to the current status and progress in coal dust management strategies. Empirical models and simulations have been used to investigate how dust concentration and particle sizes impact dust propagation in areas prone to dust production, such as mechanised mining faces. The key characteristics of coal dust that are vital for their generation, dispersion, and associated risks are summarised. Better understanding of these characteristics can lead to more effective control in coal dust and hence improved health outcomes for workers and reduced risks at an industry-wide level. Some gaps in the research literature were identified, such as those regarding dust-settling and dedusting. Current research efforts are primarily concentrated on systems, such as water injection, spray dust suppression, ventilation, and dust collector. The advantages and limits of different methods for dust management are compared. Biological dedusting, a novel technology that is still in its early stage, was also reviewed. The paper also discussed potential areas of future research that were needed. © 2024 The Institution of Chemical Engineers

The purchase cable transfers the kinetic energy of aircraft to arresting gear in landing process, which can realize the short-distance deceleration and stopping of aircraft. Purchase cable is in a complex stress condition in the working process, especially at the joint root. Therefore, the fracture of the steel wire due to fatigue at the root of joint is of the main failure mode for purchase cable. In this paper, the rain-flow counting method and the K-means clustering theory are used to extract cyclic stress load spectrum under different working conditions based on the tension data of purchase cable joint in arresting test. Finally, the fatigue life calculation is carried out by using Palmgren-Miner linear damage accumulation theory. The predicted lifetime of purchase cable obtained under different working conditions is in a good agreement with the actual service life of purchase cable. In conclusion, it is clearly shown that the above two prediction methods can estimate the service life of purchase cable with high accuracy and efficiency. © 2022 IET Conference Proceedings. Single phase 0.76(Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5))TiO_(3)–0.24SrTiO_(3) ferroelectric ceramics have been synthesized with homogenous anatase and hierarchical rutile TiO_(2) raw reactants(BNST-A and BNST-R).Either calcined powder persists the microstructure characteristics of raw *** the result,when the sintering temperature increases from 1000 to 1200℃,the average grain size and density of BNST-A increase from 0.49 to 1.48μm and 5.02 to 5.61 g/cm^(3),while those of BNST-R from 0.86 to 1.44μm and 5.37 to 5.61 g/cm^(3).BNST-A illustrates a predominant ergodic relaxor state,and BNST-R prefers a non-ergodic relaxor state,as evidenced by the distinct polarization-electric field loops and current-electric field ***,such a distinct ferroelectric state is independent of sintering *** is believed that the special hierarchical microstructure of rutile TiO_(2) reactant is beneficial to form denser ceramics with larger grains,and thus suppresses the contributions of polar nanoregions and defect-induced built-in field to ferroelectric property,leading to non-ergodic relaxor *** work clearly demonstrates the nonnegligible effects of TiO_(2) reactants on the microstructure and properties of BNST ferroelectric ceramics.

The unmanned lunar rover exploration mission is generally carried out in the way of ground tele-operation, in which the ground control center cooperates with the rover uniformly to complete the scientific detection target. The operations team must generate the future plan composed of activities in timelines for rover and each post of the ground control center. Due to the uncertainty of the lunar environment and temporal constraints, the traditional manual mission planning method is no longer adapt to the special demand. This paper proposes an automatic mission planning method for the tele-operation of lunar exploration rovers, which realizes the path planning of navigation points and activities planning at each navigation point. The interior and external constraints of activities are analyzed, and the domain modeling is described by the object-orient planning modeling language. Using the sequential backtracking strategy in the planning database, the planning result meeting various constraints is gradually obtained through conflict resolution, and the scientific exploration goal is completed on the basis of the initial task state. It is verified by experiments that the execution performance of our method meets the mission requirements practically, and the effectiveness of this method is confirmed. This method can be used in other planetary exploration missions such as Mars rover exploration. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
