Deformable mirrors play a critical role in adaptive optics systems, and as the precision demands of optical systems continue to rise, the accurate detection of deformable mirror shape and performance becomes essential to the overall system's effectiveness. Improved detection methods can significantly enhance the design quality and manufacturing precision of deformable mirrors. In this paper, we introduce a phase measuring deflectmetry that directly measures slope variations to detect the surface deformation of deformable mirrors. To further enhance measurement accuracy, monitoring stations are integrated into the system. We conducted measurements on a 100mm-diameter deformable mirror, and through comparisons of simulation and experimental results, we verified that the system provides high measurement accuracy and real-time monitoring of dynamic error influences. This system is well-suited for long-term monitoring of surface changes in deformable mirrors. © 2025 SPIE.

Weapon-target assignment (WTA) is essential ability for command and control (C2) systems. The requirement for real-time decision-making, heterogeneous combat platforms are required to make effective weapon-target assignment decisions to achieve interception of fast and multi-batch targets. Since it is difficult to form an accurate modeling of the incoming target ability and obtain a large amount of training data in actual combat exercises, this problem has become a representative problem of real-time decision-making under the constraints of small training samples. Inspired by the use of rules to make coordinated air defense decisions when manned, we propose a practical rule-based machine learning approach to solve this problem in this paper. Firstly, we model heterogeneous combat platforms into multi-agents system and use genetic fuzzy trees (GFT) to make weapon-target assignment decisions. Genetic algorithm (GA) is then employed to learn fuzzy rules and tune membership functions. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we build a typical Surface Unmanned System air defense simulation scenario that employs an auto-fire strategy as baseline. The simulation results show that our approach demonstrates a superior performance over the auto-fire strategy and can greatly improve the interception efficiency with a small amount of training data. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Cd-bearing solid wastes are considered to be a serious threat to the environment,and effective strategies for their treatment are urgently *** sintering has been considered as a promising method for efficiently incorporating heavy metal-containing solid wastes into various ceramic ***-rich dredged river sediment,especially Al and Si-containing oxides,can be treated as alternative ceramic precursors rather than being disposed of as solid *** examine the feasibility of using waste sediment for Cd stabilization and the phase transition mechanisms,this study conducted a sintering scheme for the mixtures of CdO and dredged river sediment with different(Al+Si):Cd mole *** investigations have been performed on phases transformation,Cd incorporation mechanisms,elemental distribution,and leaching behaviors of the sintered *** showed that Cd incorporation and transformation in the sintered products were influenced by the mole ratio of(Al+Si):*** the high-Cd series((Al+Si):Cd=6:1),CdSiO_(3),Cd_(2)SiO_(4),CdAl_(2)(SiO_(4))_(2) and Cd_(2)Al_(2)Si_(2)O_(9) were predominant Cd-containing product phases,while Cd2Al2Si2O9 was replaced by CdAl_(4)O_(7) when the mole ratio of(Al+Si):Cd was 12:1(low-Cd series).Cd was efficiently stabilized in both reaction series after being sintered at≥900℃,with<5%leached ratio even after a prolonged leaching time,indicating excellent long-term Cd *** study demonstrated that both Cd-containing phases and the amorphous Al-/Si-containing matrices all played critical roles in Cd stabilization.A promising strategy can be proposed to simultaneously reuse the solid waste as ceramic precursors and stabilize heavy metals in the ceramic products.

An airborne radar clutter suppression algorithm based on negative log-likelihood minimization

Space time adaptive processing (STAP) plays an important role in the field of airborne radar clutter suppression. However, due to the inhomogeneity of the clutter environment, the radar system is unable to obtain enough training samples, which will lead to a significant reduction in the clutter suppression performance of STAP. To address this issue, an airborne radar clutter suppression algorithm based on negative log-likelihood minimization is proposed in this work. Firstly, we use the negative log-likelihood function minimization criterion to give the cost function for estimating the clutter plus noise covariance matrix (CNCM), which is a nonconvex optimization problem. Secondly, to estimate the CNCM, we use the majorization-minimization(MM) algorithm and alternating optimization to iteratively solve the above nonconvex problem. Finally, we utilize the estimated CNCM to construct a space time filter to suppress the ground clutter. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm performs well in terms of both clutter suppression and convergence speed in the case of insufficient training samples. © 2001-2012 IEEE.

Satellite Terrestrial Networks (STN) are known to enhance the quality of service and to provide a better user experience. However, STNs are primarily utilized as wide-range relays and are characterized by a lack of effective intersatellite collaboration. The communication efficiency and quality of near real-time remote sensing tasks in 6G space-air-ground integrated networks are enhanced by the proposed Orbital Edge Computing-Collaborative Offloading Scheme (OEC-COS), which utilizes Service Function Chains (SFC) and the processing and collaboration capabilities of satellite nodes to allocate near real-time remote sensing tasks to optimal satellite nodes for execution. The remote sensing task offloading problem has been formulated as a delay minimization problem, and the advantages of the OEC-COS scheme in terms of computational resource utilization ratio and latency are validated through simulation experiments by comparing it with average orbit allocation and co-orbit allocation schemes. The proposed OEC-COS scheme achieves the lowest average task computing delay among these methods. © 2024 IEEE.

The established and ongoing prevalence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)and seasonal human coronaviruses(HCoV)like HCoV-OC43,HCoV-NL63,and HCoV-229E,pose a continuous threat to public ***,it is urgently needed to explore antiviral drugs with broad-spectrum anti-coronavirus *** previous studies have revealed that lycorine is a potent broad-spectrum anti-coronavirus drug,a natural alkaloid extracted from Amaryllidaceae with various pharmacological and microbiological ***,it is unsafe to directly use lycorine as a clinical antiviral drug due to the cytotoxicity and induction of cell *** this study,a series of lycorine derivatives were designed and *** of them,named Ly-8,was found to effectively inhibit the replication of different coronavirus strains in vitro,including ***,Ly-8 was also shown to effectively inhibit HCoVOC43 replication in the central nervous system,and provide effective protection against HCoV-OC43 infection in mice with low drug ***,Ly-8-resistant mutants were not observed during the 30 times sequential passages in cell ***,these findings suggest that Ly-8 may be a potential candidate drug for the future development of broad-spectrum anti-coronavirus drugs.

As one of the most important railway signaling equipment,railway point machines undertake the major task of ensuring train operation *** fault diagnosis for railway point machines becomes a hot *** the advantage of the anti-interference characteristics of vibration signals,this paper proposes an novel intelligent fault diagnosis method for railway point machines based on vibration signals.A feature extraction method combining variational mode decomposition(VMD) and multiscale fluctuation-based dispersion entropy is developed,which is verified a more effective tool for feature ***,a two-stage feature selection method based on Fisher discrimination and ReliefF is proposed,which is validated more powerful than single feature selection ***,support vector machine is utilized for fault *** comparisons show that the proposed method performs *** diagnosis accuracies of normal-reverse and reverse-normal switching processes reach 100% and 96.57% ***,it is a try to use new means for fault diagnosis on railway point machines,which can also provide references for similar fields.

Aiming at the problem of poor anti-noise interference ability of linear FM fuzes, the noise FM interference suppression method based on adaptive trap is proposed, and the adaptive trap is applied to linear FM fuzes for the single-frequency characteristics of linear FM fuzes generated by the frequency-checking signals. By adaptively adjusting the weights of the trap, the trap has a trapping characteristic at the frequency Dian of the differential frequency signal, so as to achieve the effect of noise FM interference suppression, and experiments show that the algorithm can recover the target echo signal when the interference signal is stronger than the target echo by 10 dB. © 2023 IEEE.

Micro-jet is an effective ultra-smooth polishing method, but its polishing effect is affected by many factors. In this paper, the effects of different distributions of nozzles on the workpiece were investigated by finite element software, including uniform distribution, from large to small (with the edge as the starting point) and from small to large. The results showed that: 1. The pressure of uniformly distributed nozzles on the surface of the workpiece is generally uniform, but there will be local concentration in the middle, and the flow rate is uniform;2. The edge pressure of the nozzles distributed from large to small is greater than the intermediate pressure, the distribution is not uniform, and the flow rate fluctuates greatly;3. The middle pressure of the nozzle distributed from large to small is greater than the edge pressure, nearly Gaussian-shaped distribution, and the flow rate is relatively uniform, which has the best polishing performance. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Degradation of odorous 2,4,6-trichloroanisole in chlorinated water by UV-LED/chlorination: kinetics and influence factors

2,4,6-Trichloroanisole (2,4,6-TCA) has aroused a special concern for their odor problem and potential threats. In this study, the degradation of 2,4,6-TCA by UV/chlorination with different UV sources was compared, including low-pressure mercury lamp (LPUV, 254 nm) and ultraviolet light-emitting diode (UV-LED, 275 and 285 nm). The maximum removal of 2,4,6-TCA can be achieved by 275-nm UV-LED/chlorination in neutral and alkaline conditions which was 80.0%. The reaction, kinetics, and water matrix parameters on 2,4,6-TCA degradation were also evaluated. During UV-LED (275 nm)/chlorination, 2,4,6-TCA degradation was mainly caused by direct UV photolysis and indirect hydroxyl radical (HO·) oxidation, while reactive chlorine radicals (RCSs) had a negligible contribution. The second-order rate constant between HO· and 2,4,6-TCA was determined as 3.1 × 109 M−1 s−1. Increasing initial chlorine dosage and decreasing 2,4,6-TCA concentration or pH value significantly promoted 2,4,6-TCA degradation during UV/chlorination process. The presence of natural organic matter (NOM) and bicarbonate (HCO3−) can inhibit 2,4,6-TCA degradation, while chloride ion (Cl−) had a negligible effect. The kinetic model for 2,4,6-TCA degradation was established and validated, and the degradation pathways were proposed based on the identified intermediates. Furthermore, UV-LED (275 nm)/chlorination also exhibited a promising effect on 2,4,6-TCA removal in real water, which can be used to control 2,4,6-TCA pollution and odor problems. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.
