Memristor-based multi-synaptic spiking neuron circuit for spiking neural network

Spiking neural networks(SNNs) are widely used in many fields because they work closer to biological ***,due to its computational complexity,many SNNs implementations are limited to computer ***,this paper proposes a multi-synaptic circuit(MSC) based on memristor,which realizes the multi-synapse connection between neurons and the multi-delay transmission of pulse *** synapse circuit participates in the calculation of the network while transmitting the pulse signal,and completes the complex calculations on the software with ***,a new spiking neuron circuit based on the leaky integrate-and-fire(LIF) model is designed in this *** amplitude and width of the pulse emitted by the spiking neuron circuit can be adjusted as *** combination of spiking neuron circuit and MSC forms the multi-synaptic spiking neuron(MSSN).The MSSN was simulated in PSPICE and the expected result was obtained,which verified the feasibility of the ***,a small SNN was designed based on the mathematical model of *** the SNN is trained and optimized,it obtains a good accuracy in the classification of the IRIS-dataset,which verifies the practicability of the design in the network.

Nonsmooth nonlinear systems can model many practical processes with discontinuous property and are difficult to be stabilized by classical control methods like smooth nonlinear systems. This article considers the output-feedback adaptive neural network (NN) control problem for nonsmooth nonlinear systems with input deadzone and saturation. First, the nonsmooth input deadzone and saturation is converted to a smooth function of affine form with bounded estimation error by means of the mean-value theorem. Second, with the help of approximation theorem and Filippov's differential inclusion theory, the given nonsmooth system is converted to an equivalent smooth system model. Then, by introducing a proper logarithmic barrier Lyapunov function (BLF), an output-feedback adaptive NN strategy is set up by constructing an appropriate observer and adopting the adaptive backstepping technique. A new stability criterion is established to guarantee that all the signals in the closed-loop system are semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB). Finally, comparative simulations through Chua's oscillator are offered to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm. © 2013 IEEE.

A radial basis function network(RBF)has excellent generalization ability and approximation accuracy when its parameters are set ***,when relying only on traditional methods,it is difficult to obtain optimal network parameters and construct a stable model as *** view of this,a novel radial basis neural network(RBF-MLP)is proposed in this *** connecting two networks to work cooperatively,the RBF’s parameters can be adjusted adaptively by the structure of the multi-layer perceptron(MLP)to realize the effect of the backpropagation updating ***,a genetic algorithm is used to optimize the network’s hidden layer to confirm the optimal neurons(basis function)number *** addition,a memristive circuit model is proposed to realize the neural network’s operation based on the characteristics of spin *** is verified that the network can adaptively construct a network model with outstanding robustness and can stably achieve 98.33%accuracy in the processing of the Modified national Institute of Standards and technology(MNIST)dataset classification *** experimental results show that the method has considerable application value.

Focused on the networked Euler-Lagrange (EL) systems suffering from external disturbances, this study investigates the consensus problem under event-triggered strategies. In this study, a delicate-designed auxiliary variable is introduced, which allows to reduce the system order so as to simplify the controller design. As thus, based on the reduced-order systems, a novel event-triggered consensus (ETC) control protocol is investigated such that the consensus among agents can be achieved in a distributed way with communication resource saved. To further improve the triggering performance, a mixed threshold with state-dependent term and state-independent term is designed based on only local information. Under the proposed ETC control protocol, consensus among EL systems can be achieved in a distributed way with communication overheads reduced. Furthermore, the feasibility of the proposed ETC protocol is ensured by guaranteing the Zeno-freeness. Finally, numerical simulations are shown to illustrate the effectiveness. © 2022 IEEE.

Collective behaviors efficiently impart benefits to a diversity of species ranging from bacteria to *** larvae tend to cluster and form coordinated digging groups under crowded conditions,yet understanding the rules governing this behavior is in its *** primarily took advantage of the Drosophila model to investigate cooperative foraging ***,we report that Drosophila-related species and the black soldier fly have evolved a conserved strategy of cluster digging in food ***,we investigated relative factors,including larval stage,population density,and food stiffness and quality,that affect the cluster digging ***,oxygen supply through the posterior breathing spiracles is necessary for the organization of digging *** importantly,we theoretically devise a mathematical model to accurately calculate how the cluster digging behavior expands food resources by diving depth,cross-section area,and food *** found that cluster digging behavior approximately increases 2.2 fold depth,1.7-fold cross-section area,and 1.9 fold volume than control groups,*** of food sources significantly facilitates survival,larval development,and reproductive success of Drosophila challenged with competition for limited food resources,thereby conferring trophic benefits to fitness in ***,our findings highlight that the cluster digging behavior is a pivotal behavior for their adaptation to food scarcity,advancing a better understanding of how this cooperative behavior confers fitness benefits in the animal kingdom.

In addition to the launch phase optimization, the trajectory optimization of the Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) includes the optimization of the booster landing phase. Due to the coupling relationship between the launch trajectory and the landing trajectory, it is difficult to solve a multi-phase trajectory optimization problem of RLV. To overcome the above challenge, this paper proposes a Phase-rendezvous Approach (PRA) which reconstructs the original multi-phase optimization problem to obtain the optimal solution and takes the VTVL multi-phase trajectory optimization problem as an example to carry out optimization calculations.
