This article proposes a neural network-based adaptive distributed containment controller for second-order integral multi-agent systems with nonlinear dynamics and external disturbances. Firstly, the proposed controller effectively suppresses the effects of nonlinear dynamics and external disturbances while achieving containment control. Secondly, for the adaptive update law of neural networks, unlike existing studies, we simultaneously consider the influence of position error and velocity error on the convergence speed of the weight matrix. Further, two positive definite matrices are constructed to prove the stability of the system based on Lyapunov theory, and the upper bound for the containment errors is provided. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through numerical simulation experiments. © 2024 IEEE.

In this work, the robust containment control problem of uncertain networked agent systems is addressed. The dynamics of both the followers and the leaders involve uncertain nonlinear components. Theoretically, a neural network-based adaptive control scheme with the event-triggered mechanism is designed for the follower agents to approach the convex hull which is composed of the leader agents. Furthermore, a unified event-triggered mechanism is designed to ensure that the neural networks synchronize with the reduced update frequency of the robust controller, while ensuring that both are updated solely when the system error state reaches a predetermined triggering condition. The designed event-triggered containment control scheme minimizes unnecessary communication and computation resulting from periodic updates, thereby enhancing the efficiency of communication and computational resource utilization. Then, by utilizing the Lyapunov stability theorem, it is proven that all signals of the closed-loop system are globally uniformly ultimately bounded, and Zeno behavior is strictly excluded. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed containment control scheme is verified through numerical simulation results. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Superconductivity beyond the conventional Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer framework often emerges out of a normal state that is accompanied by exotic magnetism and thereby displays many exceptional transport and thermodynamic properties. Here we report that the normal state of the heavy d-electron superconductor Rh17S15 is characterized by a weak ferromagnetism that persists up to room temperature. We show that the broad hump in its resistivity likely results from the Kondo interaction of the conduction electrons with this magnetism. By applying pressure, superconductivity is fully suppressed first. In the high-pressure regime, however, we observe a second dome of superconductivity with its maximum Tc greater than the ambient pressure value, highlighting the possible unconventional superconductivity in this heavy d-electron sulfide.

The terrestrial ecosystem plays an important role in regulating the regional carbon balance, in particular for China, where ecological projects during past decades [1,2] have led to large increases in China's land carbon sinks, partially offsetting fossil fuel emissions. Metal mirrors, represented by alµminiµm alloys, have soft and easily damaged surfaces and can be coated with a nickel-phosphorus alloy by means of chemical nickel plating prior to polishing. In order to obtain better processing results, the characteristics of the nickel-phosphorus alloy must be studied. In this paper, the nickel-phosphorus alloy was characterised by means of a hardness tester and EDS, and the experimental results show that the nickel-phosphorus coating has a Vickers hardness of 566 Hv. Depending on the properties of the coating, magnetorheological polishing was carried out using different types of polishing abrasive grains. By comparing the surface roughness after processing, silicon dioxide was selected as the polishing abrasive particle and magnetorheological fluid parameters such as pH value were adjusted to obtain a removal function with a volµme removal efficiency of 5.22 x 107µm3/min. At the same time, combining different processes such as CCOS polishing and analysing the processing principle, the obtained surface roughness Ra value is better than 0.5nm, exploring the process route of nickel-phosphorus coating and providing technical support for the subsequent processing. © 2022 SPIE

Numerical study on ethylene-air continuous rotating detonation in annular combustors with different widths

To investigate the impact of combustor width on continuous rotating detonation(CRD)fueled by ethylene and air,a series of 3 D simulations are conducted by changing the inner cylinder radius of an annular combustor while retaining the same outer cylinder *** results show that the CRD wave propagates more steadily and faster as the combustor width *** high-temperature zone at the backward-facing step preheats the propellants and contributes to the steady propagation of the CRD wave in 25-and 30-mm wide *** highest and the lowest velocities are obtained in the30-and 15-mm wide combustors at,respectively,1880.27 and 1681.01 m/*** the other hand,the average thrust decreases as the combustor width *** highest thrust is obtained in the 15-mm wide combustor while the lowest is in the 30-mm wide combustor,at 758.06 and 525.93 N,***,the thrust is much more stable in the 25-and 30-mm wide combustors than in the 15-and 20-mm wide combustors.

For a large-scale motor control system with non-negligible time delay, a Recursive Neural Network- Extended Kalman Filter (RNN-EKF) observer is proposed to estimate the flux and reduce the disturbance caused by the time delay. In this paper, the motor model is designed to simulate the actual operating conditions: the motor resistance varies with temperature and time delay is considered in the current loop. The proposed observer combines the RNN with EKF algorithm, aiming at reducing the error between the observed flux and the actual flux by training weight coefficients of the neural network. Simulation results show that the proposed observer owns good static and transient control performance. In addition, the effect of the unknown time delay is effectively reduced. © 2022 IEEE.
