Vehicle platoon is one of the concrete manifestations of multi-vehicle cooperative control and intelligent transportation. However, the velocity perturbation in the driving process will bring about stability and safety problems. The connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs) can obtain the motion status of the lead vehicle in real time and respond to it in time, which is of far-reaching significance to platoon control. Based on this, this paper focuses on the longitudinal driving strategy of connected autonomous vehicle platoons. Specifically, we provide a discrete double-integral model controller for each vehicle in a generic scenario, and the controller performs acceleration and deceleration control at each timeslot according to the state of the vehicle in front and its own state. Simulation experiments are designed by varying the size of the platoon and the number of connected autonomous vehicles. The experimental results show that the introduction of connected autonomous vehicles can effectively suppress the platoon velocity perturbation, increase the stability of the platoon driving, and significantly reduce the fuel consumption at the same time. © 2023 IEEE.

The flexible materials exhibit more favorable properties than most rigid substrates in flexibility,weight saving,mechanical reliability,and excellent environmental ***,flexible graphene film with unique mechanical properties was extensively explored in high frequency ***,we report the characteristics of structure and magnetic properties at high frequency of Co2FeAl thin film with different thicknesses grown on flexible graphene substrate at room *** exciting finding for the columnar structure of Co2FeAl thin film lays the foundation for excellent high frequency property of Co2FeAl/flexible graphene ***-plane magnetic anisotropy field varying with increasing thickness of Co2FeAl thin film can be obtained by measurement of ferromagnetic resonance,which can be ascribed to the enhancement of crystallinity and the increase of grain ***,the resonance frequency which can be achieved by the measurement of vector network analyzer with the microstrip method increases with increasing thickness of Co2FeAl thin ***,in our case with graphene film,the resonance magnetic field is quite stable though folded for twenty cycles,which demonstrates that good flexibility of graphene film and the stability of high frequency magnetic property of Co2FeAl thin film grown on flexible graphene *** results are promising for the design of microwave devices and wireless communication equipment.

Bacterial cellulose doped with P and Cu was used as a catalyst for a microbial fuel cell(MFC) cathode,which was then used to treat ethanol fermentation stillage from food *** output power,coulombic efficiency(CE),and biological toxicity were *** a series of characterization experiments,the addition of the cathode catalyst was found to improve catalytic activity and accelerate the consumption of the *** resulting maximum output power was 572.16 mW·m^(-2).CE and the removal rate of chemical oxygen demand(COD) in the fermentation stillage by P-Cu-BC reached 26% and 64.5%,*** rate of biotoxicity removal by MFC treatment reached 84.7%.The aim of this study was apply a novel catalyst for MFC and optimize the treatment efficiency of fermentation stillage.

In this study, the formation of iodinated trihalomethanes(I-THMs) was systematically evaluated and compared for three treatment processes-(i) chlorination,(ii) monochloramine, and(iii) dichloramination-under different p H conditions. The results demonstrated that ITHM formation decreased in the order of monochloramination > dichloramination > chlorination in acidic and neutral p H. However, the generation of I-THMs increased in the dichloramination < chlorination < monochloramination order in alkaline condition. Specifically, the formation of I-THMs increased as p H increased from 5 to 9 during chlorination and monochloramination processes, while the maximum I-THM formation occurred at pH 7 during dichloramination. The discrepancy could be mainly related to the stability of the three chlor(am) ine disinfectants at different p H conditions. Moreover, in order to gain a thorough insight into the mechanisms of I-THM formation during dichloramination, further investigation was conducted on the influencing factors of DOC concentration and Br/Imolar ratio. I-THM formation exhibited an increasing and then decreasing trend as the concentration of DOC increased from 1 to 7 mg-C/L, while the yield of I-THMs increased with increasing Br/Imolar ratio from 5:0 to 5:10. During the three processes mentioned above, similar I-THM formation results were also obtained in real water, which indicates that the excessive generation of I-THMs should be paid special attention during the disinfection of iodide-containing water.

In this paper, a coupling structure between a terahertz flexible waveguide and a metal rectangular waveguide is designed and optimized. By loading the special-shaped waveguide, the transmission loss of better than -1.5 dB and reflection coefficient of less than -15 dB are designed and achieved in the frequency range of $216-230 \mathrm{GHz}$. The results indicate that this proposed structure can realize a high conversion efficiency between HE 11 mode of flexible waveguide and TE 10 mode of metal rectangular waveguide, which provides strong support for future terahertz space communication applications.

Systematic study on the proton radioactivity of spherical proton emitters

In this study, based on a two-potential approach, we systematically investigated the proton radioactivity half-lives of spherical proton emitters with 69≤Z≤81 from the ground and/or isomeric state, choosing the nuclear potential to be a modified Woods–Saxon potential that contains the isospin effect of the daughter nucleus. It was found that the calculated half-lives could reproduce the experimental data well. Furthermore, we extended this model to predict the half-lives of 17 protonemitting candidates whose radioactivity is energetically allowed or observed but not yet quantified in NUBASE2020. For comparison, the unified fission model, Coulomb potential and proximity potential model, universal decay law for proton emission, and new Geiger–Nuttall law were also used. All the predicted results are consistent with each other.

Boron-doped biochar(B-BC)was synthesized by pyrolysis using solid waste of sorghum straw as raw *** specific surface area of B-BC increased significantly by 2.38 times compared to that of pure *** enhancement allowed B-BC(0.3 g L^(−1))to achieve complete adsorption of 10 mg L^(−1)tartrazine(TTZ)within 40 ***,acidic conditions were more favorable for TTZ adsorption,achieving complete removal of TTZ in only 15 min at a pH of ***,the adsorption rate of TTZ by B-BC in the presence of 0.05 M Cl^(-)was approximately 2.12 times higher than that in the absence of Cl^(-).When other background electrolytes were present,excluding PO_(4)^(3−),complete adsorption of TTZ could also be achieved within 60 *** analysis and DFT calculations described the parameters of B-BC for TTZ adsorption,includingG(<0 kJ mol^(−1)),H(−2.199 kJ mol^(−1)),S(−6.068 J mol^(−1)K^(−1)),and the adsorption energy(E_(ads)=−0.6919 eV),indicating a tendency towards a spontaneous adsorption ***,the strong electron transfer ability of B-BC and the oxygen-containing groups promoted the activation of PDS and generation of active substances such as^(1)O_(2),O_(2)^(•−),and SO_(4)^(•−),thereby degrading TTZ into products with lower biological *** the added PDS was only 0.1 mM,the degradation rate constant of TTZ could reach 0.1481 min−***,boron doping enhanced the stability of biochar,enabling the complete removal of 10 mg L^(−1)TTZ even after recycling and *** summary,this study offers a practical solution for the resource utilization of solid waste sorghum straw and the treatment of TTZ-polluted wastewater.

Embedded microfluidic cooling improves cooling efficiency by avoiding interfacial thermal resistance. However, the temperature rise of the fluid along the flow direction leads to an uneven axial temperature of the straight parallel microchannels (SPMCs), which then causes the degradation of microfluidic cooling uniformity, especially at the outlet position with the greatest thermal resistance. Counterflow microchannels (CFMCs) heat exchangers can be realized by adjusting the flow direction of adjacent channels to the opposite direction. In this paper, a one-dimensional thermal resistance model of CFMCs heat exchangers is established, and the surface temperature distribution characteristics of heat exchangers are studied. Under the assumption of a constant convective heat transfer coefficient, the equivalent neutral plane and the equivalent adiabatic line are defined, and the temperature distribution of the heating surface is analyzed by using the temperature rise characteristics of the working fluid after heat absorption. Both theoretical and numerical results show a quadratic distribution of the surface temperature in CFMCs. Compared with the SPMCs, CFMCs result in a higher average surface temperature but a lower maximum surface temperature, while the temperature standard deviation is reduced by more than 60%. © 2023 IEEE.

In this work, the high-frequency shear horizontal surface acoustic wave (SH-SAW) devices are demonstrated based on the high-velocity, low-loss and high-temperature stability LiTaO3/SiC hetero-substrate. Through finite element simulations, the ratio of the LiTaO3 thickness to interdigital transducers (IDT) pitch is specially designed to achieve high-frequency response and avoid the appearance of the Rayleigh spurious mode. Besides, the double piston IDT is adopted to suppress transverse modes. The series and shunt SH-SAW resonators operating at high resonant frequencies up to 4.9~5.2 GHz exhibit high quality factors of more than 1700 and suppressed spurious modes. The fabricated SAW filter shows an ultra-high center frequency of 5.1 GHz, a 3-dB bandwidth of 251 MHz, a low minimum insertion loss of 0.98 dB, a spurious-free frequency response and a sufficient out-of-band rejection (>32 dB) in the range of 0.5~6.5 GHz. © 2023 IEEE.
