The efficient and environmentally friendly recycling technology of waste residue that including abundant heavy metal produced during the recovery of lithium batteries has become a research ***,a novelty process of acid leaching-selective electrodeposition-deep impurity removal-regeneration was proposed to recovery of the CuS slag,which has been efficient transferred to high purity cathode copper and commercially available ternary *** cathode with a purity of 99.67%was prepared under electrochemical reaction conditions at-0.55 V for 2 h.A novel impurity remover-Mn powder,which was used to remove the residual impurities and as a feedstock for the ternary ***,NCM523 was regenerated by *** process is superior to the traditional process in economy,energy consumption,CO_(2)emissions,product purity and process *** study provides a new approach for solid waste recovery and precious metal enrichment.

In the context of nonlinear and uncertain manipulator systems, achieving fast and accurate desired trajectories for each joint of the manipulator is crucial. Our study aims to improve current control methods by combining sliding mode control and neural network techniques. Specifically, we leverage the neural networks’ approximation capabilities to estimate both the modeling error and external disturbance in our research. These estimates are then integrated into the synovial control as additional gains. This approach allows for the sliding mode controller’s switch gain to adapt to changing modeling error and external disturbance, thereby avoiding the vibration production typically associated with traditional sliding mode controllers. It can be observed from the simulation results that the combination of the proposed nonsingular terminal sliding mode controller and neural network achieves fast and precise tracking of desired trajectories. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Cloud detection can address data quality and analytical accuracy issues caused by cloud cover in satellite imagery, significantly enhancing image usability. Existing cloud detection methods still have the problem of detecting a certain amount of ground and sea surface as clouds, as well as some cloud regions that are missed, resulting in a decrease in the accuracy of cloud detection. Aiming at the above problems, an interactive cloud detection method based on Dynamic Mode Decomposition is proposed. Based on the fact that clouds are constantly moving, the dynamic mode decomposition can be utilized to detect the characteristics of moving objects, and the dynamic clouds are detected, avoiding the detection of the ground and sea surface as clouds. Although static clouds rarely appear, to ensure the robustness of the algorithm, we design an interactive static cloud detection algorithm for the users, which solve the problem of missed detection and further improves the accuracy of cloud detection. To assess the effectiveness of the algorithm, the four different types of clouds of floccus, undulatus, vortex clouds, and stratocumulus are detected, the experimental outcomes demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the algorithm. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). Major human pathogenic bacteria in the family Weeksellaceae and their virulence factors

Bacteria of the family Weeksellaceae are Gram-negative, and include 17 genera and 185 species. The emerging infectious pathogens of the family include Chryseobacterium indologenes, C. gleum, Elizabethkingia anophelis, E. meningoseptica, and E. miricola. In this review, we summarize the reported infections and the virulence factors of these pathogens. The main virulence factors of C. indologenes include phosphatases and proteases. The formation of the E. anophelis biofilm is associated with its pathogenicity, and the virulence factors of E. miricola, E. anophelis, and E. meningoseptica have been predicted from the genomic sequences of clinical strains. In this article, we summarize the case reports of infection and the virulence factors of pathogens in the family Weeksellaceae, to provide important data for evaluating the potential pathogenicity of other species within the family.

This paper presents an improved approach called error dynamics based dual heuristic dynamic programming(ED-DHP) for nonlinear flight attitude *** augmented system state containing tracking error and reference trajectory are defined for the DHP to solve the tracking problem,without requiring the complete knowledge of the vehicle dynamics and the reference trajectory dynamics.A recursive least square method is used to identify not only the input dynamics,but also the total uncertainty of the system based on the error dynamics in real *** simulations of two different air vehicles demonstrate the good performance of ED-DHP for the online self-learning flight attitude control.

Disturbances can significantly impact the dynamic performance and stability of a system, making them a key focus in stability analysis. However, direct measurement of disturbances is often challenging due to technological and cost limitations. These disturbances introduce uncertainties that complicate multi-agent coordination, particularly in formation control tasks. Consequently, designing effective control strategies for multi-agent systems becomes both challenging and crucial. This paper addresses the affine transformation formation control problem of multi-agent systems in the presence of unknown disturbances. We begin by using a state-space model to describe agent dynamics and employing an unknown input observer to estimate both the state and the unknown disturbances. Based on these estimates, we redesign the control law to ensure that tracking errors converge to an adjustable residual set. This distributed control approach allows agents to operate without global information, thereby reducing communication requirements. Finally, a simulation example demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control law.

In order to improve the accuracy and real-time performance of X-ray pulsar time delay estimation over short-time observation interval,a method based on bispectral feature points and cross-correlation is proposed in this ***,calculate the self-bispectrum of the standard pulsar profile,extract the bispectral feature points by PSO algorithm,and store it in the ***,the pulsar photons are received in real-time and get the observation profile by epoch ***,calculate the cross-bispectrum at the bispectral feature points,construct the objective function of time delay estimation,and solve the ***,the pulsar time delay estimation is obtained by screening the extreme points using *** experiments based on Insight-HXMT observations of the Crab pulsar show that,the average running time of the proposed algorithm is 41.59 ms on Matlab R2017 b,and the average estimation error at observation interval below 2.5 s is0.1858 ms,which is better than the traditional bispectrum method and the selected bispectrum method.

Zero-index metamaterials(ZIMs)feature a uniform electromagnetic mode over a large area in arbitrary shapes,enabling many applications including high-transmission supercouplers with arbitrary shapes,directionindependent phase matching for nonlinear optics,and collective emission of many quantum ***,most ZIMs reported to date are passive;active ZIMs that allow for dynamic modulation of their electromagnetic properties have rarely been ***,we design and fabricate a magnetically tunable ZIM consisting of yttrium iron garnet(YIG)pillars sandwiched between two copper clad laminates in the microwave *** harnessing the Cotton–Mouton effect of YIG,the metamaterial was successfully toggled between gapless and bandgap states,leading to a“phase transition”between a zero-index phase and a single negative phase of the *** an S-shaped ZIM supercoupler,we experimentally demonstrated a tunable supercoupling state with a low intrinsic loss of 0.95 d B and a high extinction ratio of up to 30.63 d B at 9 *** have also engineered a transition between the supercoupling state and the topological one-way transmission state at10.6 *** work enables dynamic modulation of the electromagnetic characteristics of ZIMs,enabling various applications in tunable linear,nonlinear,quantum,and nonreciprocal electromagnetic devices.
