Discovering API Directives from API Specifications with Text Classification

Application programming interface(API)libraries are extensively used by *** correctly program with APIs and avoid bugs,developers shall pay attention to API directives,which illustrate the constraints of ***,API directives usually have diverse morphologies,making it time-consuming and error-prone for developers to discover all the relevant API *** this paper,we propose an approach leveraging text classification to discover API directives from API ***,given a set of training sentences in API specifications,our approach first characterizes each sentence by three groups of ***,to deal with the unequal distribution between API directives and non-directives,our approach employs an under-sampling strategy to split the imbalanced training set into several subsets and trains several *** a new sentence in an API specification,our approach synthesizes the trained classifiers to predict whether it is an API *** have evaluated our approach over a publicly available annotated API directive *** experimental results reveal that our approach achieves an F-measure value of up to 82.08%.In addition,our approach statistically outperforms the state-of-the-art approach by up to 29.67%in terms of F-measure.

The synthesis of two linear terpy-based metallo-supramolecular fluorescent coordination polymers through 1 ： 1 complexation of Zn^2＋ and Cd^2＋ ions with ditopic terpyridine ligand was reported. The dispersibility of P1 and P2 was significantly improved in organic solvent and water through the introduction of hydrophilic oligo-ethyoxy side chain. Two polymers displayed yellow light emission both in solution and the solid state due to the intra-ligand charge transfer （ILCT） between the d^10 metal ions and the conjugated spacer unit. These coordination polymers were explored as fluorescent chemosensors for detecting picric acid in aqueous media, displaying high sensitivity and good selectivity. In addition, test strips were prepared from these polymers and exhibited the practical potential of detecting the NACs pollutants in the outdoor water for public safety and security.

This paper proposes a novel airfoil active flow control method using only synthetic jet to achieve triple-channel flight attitude control at high angle of attack. It's a feasible and effective control method to solve the difficult problem of flight control at high attack angle when stall occurs. As a first step, we build a model of the aircraft, and derive the relationship between the synthetic-jet peak velocity and moments. Under these conditions, we design a controller to the system. A nonlinear integrated flight control and flow control system was developed and tested in simulations. simulation results showed that the proposed control method, can effectively control the aircraft at high angle of attack.

IEEE 802.11 Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) is a popular way for mobile devices to access the Internet. Operators and service providers often increase the density of wireless access points in order to provide users with better connections and user experience. As a result, WLAN users find themselves covered by multiple access points. In traditional wireless multi-hotspot networks most user terminals choose the access point with the strongest signal without considering the existing load on that access point, leading to severe congestion and load imbalance problems. This paper proposes an improved NSGA-ii-based load balancing strategy for wireless multi-hotspot networks, which determines which hotspot should be associated with each user terminal by taking into account the current access point load, the received signal strength and the throughput size of the user terminal. The simulation results show that compared with the traditional strongest signal First (SSF) strategy, the proposed load balancing strategy can improve the network throughput by more than 30%. © 2022 IEEE.

In recent years, researches on vocational skills are very extensive, most of them concentrated on vocational skills training, effect of vocational skill competition, vocational education and vocational skill identification and so on. But, there is very little research on the inner relationship among vocational skill based on big data. To address the issue, from LinkedIn we first collect tens of thousands of member profiles with vocational skills as empirical data. And then, we dig out high-frequency vocational skills and apply correlation analysis method to explore correlation characteristics of vocational skills. According to our studying, we figure out that there exist a large number of association rules, some of which have very high degrees of confidence, lift, and support. This research reveals the intrinsic association among different vocational skills. These relationships can reflect the general behavior and cognitive rules of human beings. We hope that our research results can provide a theoretical base for other research areas of vocational skills, such as vocational skill training, vocational skill mining, and identification of vocational skills. © 2017 Association for Computing Machinery.

The hollow soft magnetic particle-based magnetorheological (MR) fluid has been extensively studied due to its good anti-settling property. However, studies are mainly focused on experiments, and the discussion of the mechanism is still inadequate, especially considering multiple influencing factors under coupled fields. In this paper, based on the magnetic dipole theory, we established a dynamic model of hollow particles in magnetorheological fluid under the magnetic-shear coupling field. Molecular dynamics simulations were adopted to simulate the microstructure evolution of the magnetorheological fluid in two-dimensional scale, and the effects of hollow radius, magnetic field strength, volume fraction and shear rate on the rheological properties were analyzed. The results show that these factors significantly affect the response time and yield stress of the magnetorheological fluid. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Multi-criteria group sorting (MCGS) that considers linguistic preferences involves multiple individuals evaluating alternatives and assigning them to pre-determined ordered categories based on specific criteria. Nevertheless, due to the limited availability of class information and the constrained cognitive capacity of decision-makers (DMs), it becomes challenging for DMs to furnish explicit preference information to reach consensus. Besides, decision parameters such as consensus threshold and class thresholds are also too hard to be assumed in advance. Therefore, this paper studies the preference disaggregation problem in MCGS, in which DMs are allowed to provide their pairwise comparisons in flexible linguistic expressions (FLEs) as preference information. To more fully utilize the preferences, semantic granulation is introduced. First, an individual consistency recognition model is proposed to identify inconsistent preferences and provide modification directions to the corresponding individuals. Next, semantic granulation and maximum entropy are combined into a granulation-driven information transformation model to convert the preference information based on FLEs into triangular fuzzy numbers (TFNs). Subsequently, in the consensus-driven preference disaggregation model, decision parameters and sorting results can be obtained at the premise of consensus by adjusting weights. Ultimately, to substantiate the effectiveness of the proposal, two numerical applications concerning the sorting of government venture capitals and information system suppliers are presented, along with comparative analysis, sensitivity analysis, and simulation analysis. © 2025 The Authors

Radio frequency energy harvesting offers a promising solution to provide low power Internet of Things (IoT) devices with convenient and perpetual energy supply. In this work, we investigate the reliable performance of an energy-constrained transmitter communicating with a receiver over Nakagami-m channel, where the effects of transceiver hardware impairments and finite blocklength coding are jointly considered. Specifically, the communication link between the transmitter and receiver operates within the coverage of an existing wireless system, with radio frequency signal from the existing system serving as an energy signal for the transmitter while acting as an interference signal for the receiver. By utilizing the finite-blocklength information theory, we first derive average block error rate (BLER) and asymptotic average BLER in closed-form expressions, which enable us to quantify the extent of reliability loss. Then, we analyze effective throughput of the system, and determine the optimal blocklength that maximizes the effective throughput. Computer simulations are employed to validate the accuracy of our analytical findings, demonstrating the presence of an outage threshold solely due to hardware impairments. Furthermore, if transmission rate exceeds the outage threshold defined by the level of hardware impairments, reliable communication within the system under consideration cannot be achieved, regardless of the transmit signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). © 2024 The Authors

In this work, we consider the physical layer security in short-packet communications, where a full-duplex (FD) receiver receives information signals from a source while generating artificial noise (AN) to confuse an eavesdropper. Taking into account the finite blocklength coding and the self-interference (SI) in FD mode, we derive new approximation closed-form expression for the secrecy throughput. Moreover, we analyze the asymptotic secrecy throughput in two distinct scenarios, i.e., high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) regime and infinite blocklength coding, to gain more insights. Our examination illustrates the correctness of our expressions and shows how the critical system variables affect the secrecy throughput. © 2023 The Authors

There is an increasing concern of face privacy protection along with the wide application of big media data and social networks due to free online data release. Although some pioneering works obtained some achievements, they are not sufficient enough for sanitizing the sensitive identity information. In this paper, we propose a generative approach to de-identify face images yet preserving the non-sensitive information for data reusability. To ensure a high privacy level, we introduce a large-margin model for the synthesized new identities by keeping a safe distance with both the input identity and existing identities. Besides, we show that our face de-identification operation follows the (Formula Presented)-differential privacy rule which can provide a rigorous privacy notion in theory. We evaluate the proposed approach using the vggface dataset and compare with several state-of-the-art methods. The results show that our approach outperforms previous solutions for effective face privacy protection while preserving the major utilities. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2020.
