The global sailboat market generates USD 5 billion in annual sales, selling over 12,000 units yearly, especially in Europe, the Caribbean, and the US. It boosts local tourism and leisure, driving the maritime economy. This study applies the PLSR-GA-BP model to predict used yacht prices, exploring a crucial market segment. Analyzing 3,500 sales, we show the model's effectiveness in highlighting price determinants and regional variations. displacement and usage years impact prices, while regional characteristics also matter. The findings underscore the model's accuracy and robustness, contributing to economic management, genetic algorithms, and forecasting modeling, highlighting the sailboat market's global economic role. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Poverty has always been a global concern that has restricted human *** first goal(SDG 1)of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)is to eliminate all forms of poverty all over the *** establishment of a scientific and effective localized SDG 1 evaluation and monitoring method is the key to achieving SDG *** paper proposes SDG 1 China district and county-level localization evaluation method based on multi-source remote sensing data for the United Nations Sustainable Development *** temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of China's poverty areas and their SDG 1 evaluation values in 2012,2014,2016,and 2018 have been *** on the SDGs global indicator framework,this paper first constructed SDG 1 China's district and county localization indicator system and then extracted multidimensional feature factors from nighttime light images,land cover data,and digital elevation model ***,we establish SDG 1 China's localized partial least squares estimation model and SDG 1 China's localized machine learning estimation ***,we analyze and verify the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of China's poverty areas and counties and their SDG 1 evaluation *** results show that SDG 1 China's district and county localization indicator system proposed in this study and SDG 1 China's localized partial least squares estimation model can better reflect the poverty level of China's districts and *** estimated model R2 is 0.65,which can identify 72.77%of China's national poverty *** 2012 to 2018,the spatial distribution pattern of SDG evaluation values in China's districts and counties is that the SDG evaluation values gradually increase from western China to eastern *** addition,the average SDG 1 evaluation value of China's districts and counties increased by 23%from 2012 to *** paper is oriented to the United Nations SDGs frame-work,explores the SDG 1 localized evalu

IPFA-Net: Important Points Feature Aggregating Net for Point Cloud Classification and Segmentation

This paper focuses on the problems of point cloud deep neural networks in classification and segmentation tasks, including losing important information during down-sampling, ignoring relationships among points when extracting features, and network performance being susceptible to the sparsity of point cloud. To begin with, this paper proposes a farthest point sampling-important points sampling method for down-sampling, which can preserve important information of point clouds and maintain the geometry of input data. Then, the local feature relation aggregating method is proposed for feature extraction, improving the network's ability to learn contextual information and extract rich local region features. Based on these methods, the important points feature aggregating net(IPFA-Net) is designed for point cloud classification and segmentation tasks. Furthermore, this paper proposes the multi-scale multi-density feature connecting method to reduce the negative impact of point cloud data sparsity on network performance. Finally, the effectiveness of IPFA-Net is demonstrated through experiments on ModelNet40, ShapeNet part, and ScanNet v2 datasets. IPFA-Net is robust to reducing the number of point clouds, with only a 3.3% decrease in accuracy under a 16-fold reduction of point number. In the part segmentation experiments, our method achieves the best segmentation performance for five objects.

Metallised film capacitors(MFCs)are renowned for their unique self-healing(SH)properties,which bestow them with exceptional reliability and stability in the face of intense electric fields,high voltages,and pulse power ***,the exploration of SH characteristics concerning single-layer dielectric film remains insufficient for advancing MFC reliability *** establish the theoretical correlation of SH characteristics from the device to the film in the MFCs,this work developed a simulation model to analyse the SH dynamic behaviour in the *** effects of coupling capacitors,arc resistance and insulation resistance on the macroscopic characteristics(voltage drop and pulse current)are focused during the SH process in *** results indicate that SH is primarily associated with the voltage drop duration rather than the sampling ***,the SH process in MFC is characterised as an abrupt decrease in voltage to its minimum *** refinement enhances the SH energy dissipation model of *** quantified relationship between the macroscopic characteristics and microstructure evolution(polypropylene decomposition and aluminium electrode vaporisation)is established in MFCs under diverse SH energy *** SH energy and duration increase,the proportion of energy attributed to polypropylene decomposition increases,resulting in multi-layer ablation and adhesion within the metallised film and a pronounced deterioration in MFC electrical *** examination of macro-micro perspectives sheds new light on the intricate mechanisms governing the SH behaviour in MFCs,offering valuable insights for the advancement of their design,reliability evaluation,and performance optimisation in diverse electrical applications.

Fast measurement and prediction method for electromagnetic susceptibility of receiver

Aiming at evaluating and predicting rapidly and accurately a high sensitivity receiver’s adaptability in complex electromagnetic environments,a novel testing and prediction method based on dual-channel multi-frequency is proposed to improve the traditional two-tone ***,two signal generators are used to generate signals at the radio frequency(RF)by frequency scanning,and then a rapid measurement at the intermediate frequency(IF)output port is carried out to obtain a huge amount of sample data for the subsequent ***,the IF output response data are modeled and analyzed to construct the linear and nonlinear response constraint equations in the frequency domain and prediction models in the power domain,which provide the theoretical criteria for interpreting and predicting electromagnetic susceptibility(EMS)of the *** experiment performed on a radar receiver confirms the reliability of the method proposed in this *** shows that the interference of each harmonic frequency and each order to the receiver can be identified and predicted with the sensitivity *** on this,fast and comprehensive evaluation and prediction of the receiver’s EMS in complex environment can be efficiently realized.

Design and performance evaluation of a novel ranging signal based on an LEO satellite communication constellation

Driven by improvements in satellite internet and Low Earth Orbit(LEO)navigation augmenta-tion,the integration of communication and navigation has become increasingly common,and further improving navigation capabilities based on communication constellations has become a significant *** the context of the existing Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)communication systems,this paper proposes a new ranging signal design method based on an LEO satellite communication *** LEO Satellite Communication Constellation Block-type Pilot(LSCC-BPR)signal is superimposed on the com-munication signal in a block-type form and occupies some of the subcarriers of the OFDM signal for transmission,thus ensuring the continuity of the ranging pilot signal in the time and frequency *** estimation in the time and frequency domains is performed to obtain the relevant distance value,and the ranging accuracy and communication resource utilization rate are *** characterize the ranging performance,the Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)is selected as an evaluation *** show that when the number of pilots is 2048 and the Signal-to-Noise Ratio(SNR)is 0 dB,the ranging accuracy can reach 0.8 m,and the pilot occupies only 50%of the communication subcarriers,thus improving the utilization of communication resources and meeting the public demand for communication and location services.

Deep learning models are widely used in security-sensitive tasks such as facial recognition and autonomous driving. Security issues in deep models could have serious implications for people’s lives, such as life-threatening situations resulting from autonomous driving failures. To enhance the security of deep models, security testing is necessary before their formal deployment. Since different scenarios may involve different deep models, a security testing method that targets multiple scenarios would be more universally applicable. In this paper, we propose a security testing method for deep models that can be applied across multiple scenarios, primarily utilizing adversarial attacks to test the models. For the deep model under test, we first construct threat scenarios and then associate the model with datasets and adversarial attack methods. Subsequently, we generate adversarial examples to input into the deep model to check its accuracy in classification. Finally, we evaluate the success rate of adversarial attacks on the deep model. A high attack success rate indicates low model security, necessitating developers to employ adversarial training or other methods to enhance model security. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
