The sparse aperture caused by data loss or unintentional interference is the actual problem in radar imaging process. Therefore, a compressed sensing (CS) based ISAR image reconstruction method with signal support aided is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the signal support is constructed from FFT-based imaging results. Then the signal support is introduced as a prior information into the reweighted function during the CS reconstruction. The simulation results show that, when the azimuth effective aperture ratio is as low as 30 % and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) equals to -10 dB, the proposed method can obtain clear imaging results like that of complete aperture data. Besides, compared with the traditional CS reconstruction method, the number of false points in the reconstruction results by proposed method is greatly reduced. © 2024 IEEE.

Building up a lunar settlement is the ultimate aim of lunar ***, limited fuel and oxygen supplies restrict human survival on the ***,we demonstrate the in situ resource utilization of lunar soil for extraterrestrial fuel and oxygen production,which may power up our solely natural satellite and supply respiratory ***,the lunar soil is loaded with Cu species and employed for electro catalytic CO2conversion,demonstrating significant production of *** addition,the selected component in lunar soil（***3） loaded with Cu can reach a CH4F aradaic efficiency of 72.05% with a CH4production rate of 0.8 mL/min at 600 mA/***,an O2production rate of 2.3 mL/min can be ***,we demonstrate that our developed process starting from catalyst preparation to electrocatalytic CO2conversion is so accessible that it can be operated in an unmmaned manner via a robotic *** a highly efficient extraterrestrial fuel and oxygen production system is expected to push forward the development of mankind's civilization toward an extraterrestrial settlement.

This paper reviews the application of atmospheric inversions for estimating national CO2and CH4fluxes with a focus on *** describing the fundamental principles and methodologies of the technique,we synthesize recent progress in estimating China's CO2and CH4budgets through atmospheric inversion,and compare these estimates with national greenhouse gas（GHG） inventory（NGHGI） *** inverted estimates for China's total CO2and CH4emissions amount to 8.35 ± 1.39 Pg CO2a-1and 60.8 ± 5.9 Tg CH4a-1,respectively,in the last decade,which are in general consistent with ***,large uncertainties in spatial and temporal disaggregation of national budgets hinder the effectiveness of the method in verifying China's GHG budgets and improving NGHGI *** uncertainties are largely driven by differences in inversion models,observational coverage and methodological *** recommend improving observational networks,conducting model intercomparison exercises and refining inversion methods to better support China's GHG reporting and future climate goals.

Persistent Memory (PM) offers both byte-address ability and non-volatility, making it well-suited for accelerating B+-Tree indexes. However, existing persistent B+-Tree indexes face significant performance challenges due to high structural modification operation (SMO) overhead. SMOs often result in costly item migrations and increased tail latency, which severely degrade the overall performance. In this paper, we present SSTree, a high-performance B+- Tree index specifically optimized to address SMO overhead. SSTree introduces three key innovations: (i) efficient leaf node expansion using a list of subnodes to postpone expensive node splits, (ii) delegated fingerprints to speed up search operations across subnodes, and (iii) proactive subnode compaction that employs out-of-place updates to optimize item organization. Our evaluation demonstrates that SSTree delivers up to 4.38× higher write throughput and up to 62× lower tail latency compared to state-of-the-art persistent B+-Tree indexes. © 2024 IEEE.

CA-FedRC: Codebook Adaptation Via Federated Reservoir Computing in 5G NR

With the burgeon deployment of the fifth-generation new radio (5 G NR) networks, the codebook plays a crucial role in enabling the base station (BS) to acquire the channel state information (CSI). Different 5 G NR codebooks incur varying overheads and exhibit performance disparities under diverse channel conditions, necessitating codebook adaptation based on channel conditions to reduce feedback overhead while enhancing performance. However, existing methods of 5 G NR codebooks adaptation require significant overhead for model training and feedback or fall short in performance. To address these limitations, this letter introduces a federated reservoir computing framework designed for efficient codebook adaptation in computationally and feedback resource-constrained mobile devices. This framework utilizes a novel series of indicators as input training data, striking an effective balance between performance and feedback overhead. Compared to conventional models, the proposed codebook adaptation via federated reservoir computing (CA-FedRC), achieves rapid convergence and significant loss reduction in both speed and accuracy. Extensive simulations under various channel conditions demonstrate that our algorithm not only reduces resource consumption of users but also accurately identifies channel types, thereby optimizing the trade-off between spectrum efficiency, computational complexity, and feedback overhead. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

Silicon(Si)has mild discharge potential and high theoretical capacity,making it a highly desirable material for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).Nevertheless,the excessive volume expansion,poor ion/electron conductiv ity and unstable solid electrolyte interface(SEI)hinde practical application to ***,the metallic antimony(Sb)stabilized porous Si(SiDSb)composite was prepared by magnesiothermic reduction of Sb_(2)O_(3)and Mg_(2)Si and chemical etching to remove the by-product of *** highly conductive Sb nanodots embedded in the Si liga ments promote not only the formation of conductive and stable LiF-rich SEI,but also the electron/ion transpor ability of *** to the outstanding bulk/interface stability,excellent conductivity,as well as ideal porous structure,the SiDSb electrode demonstrates a capacity of820 mAh·g^(-1)after undergoing 320 turns at 1000 mA·g^(-1).Additionally,it exhibits a stable capacity of 675 m Ah·g^(-1)when tested at a higher current density of 5000 m A·g^(-1).The results reveal a viable solution to solve three problems at the same time,namely the poor conductivity,inferior SEI and excessive volume expansion of Si,boding well for the design of Si-based materials for high-energy LIBs.

The quantification of aerosol direct radiative effects (ADREs) under clear sky conditions is essential for understanding the influence of aerosols on climate. This paper introduces a novel approach, the non-uniform five-dimensional lookup table (NU-5D-LUT) method, for calculating the ADREs under clear sky conditions. The NU-5D-LUT method considers key parameters such as aerosol optical thickness, single scattering albedo, asymmetry factor, surface albedo, and solar zenith angle. Validation against the SBDART model shows strong agreement, with correlation coefficients of 0.97 and 0.99 for TOA and BOA ADREs, respectively. Global comparisons demonstrate consistent ADRE distributions, with relative errors below 5.8% for TOA ADRE and 4.4% for BOA ADRE. The NU-5D-LUT method significantly reduces computation time, offering a practical solution for large-scale simulations and climate model evaluations in aerosol research.
