Near-infrared responsive polycaprolactone coatings for magnesium implants:Photodynamic antibacterial and controllable dissolution

Magnesium implants have received widespread attention in orthopaedic ***,the mechanical degradation and concurrent inflammation caused by the rapid corrosion of Mg limits their *** this study,a kind of unique core-shell heterojunction CuS@PPy nanostructures was synthesized and then incorporated in polycaprolactone(PCL)to construct an intelligent coating(CuS@PPy/PCL)on micro-arc-oxidized Mg *** PCL-based coating can realize near-infrared(NIR)-driven antibacterial and controllable Mg dissolution according to different bone healing *** the beginning of bone remodelling,the coating exhibits promising antibacterial properties with 99.67%and 99.17%efficacy against *** and ***,respectively,thanks to the singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2))and alkoxyl radicals(RO·)generated by the photodynamic effect of CuS@PPy heterojunction under low-power NIR light(1.5 W/cm^(2)).In the bone reparative stage,the PCL-based coating can maintain high corrosion resistance to meet the mechanical requirements of Mg implants in human body ***,after the complete rehabilitation of bones,through a high-power(2 W/cm^(2))NIR light,the PCL-based coating changed from an elastic to a viscous flow state(44.7℃)under the photothermal effects of CuS@PPy,leading to quick degradation of the PCL-based coating and following accelerating dissolution of the Mg implant(avoiding secondary surgery).Hopefully,this NIR-responsive coating may provide an innovative method for the antibacterial and controllable dissolution of Mg implants.

In order to improve the maneuvering control ability at high angle of attack, this paper designs the commonly used thrust vector aircraft model. Based on the model, the longitudinal control law design of aircraft is studied by combining the dynamic inversion method with the incremental dynamic inversion method. This paper uses the dynamic inversion and incremental dynamic inversion method in the inner loop and outer loop of the model design of the new control system. Compared with the traditional dynamic inverse control method, the longitudinal control method proposed in this paper has better control performance and is more stable. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Both bulk stress(σ_(i i))and stress path(SP)significantly affect the transportation characteristics of deep gas during reservoir pressure ***,the experimental study of horizontal stress unloading on seepage behavior of gas-bearing coal under constantσi i-constraints is *** results show that coal permeability is affected by horizontal stress anisotropy(σ_(H)≠σh),and the contribution of minor horizontal stress to permeability is related to the differential response of horizontal *** slippage phenomenon is prominent in deep high-stress regime,especially in low reservoir pressure.σ_(i i)and SP jointly determine the manifestation of slippage effect and the strength of stress sensitivity(γ)of *** reservoir implies an incremental percentage of slip-based permeability,and SP weakens the slippage effect by changing the elastic–plastic state of ***,γis negatively correlated with slippage *** the Walsh model,narrow(low aspect-ratio)fractures within the coal under unloading SP became the main channel for gas seepage,and bring the effective stress coefficient of permeability(χ)less than 1 for both low-stress elastic and high-stress damaged *** the raise of the effective stress,the effect of pore-lined clay particles on permeability was enhanced,inducing an increase inχfor highstress elastic coal.

Carbonyl iron absorbers(CI)face significant challenges in practical applications,such as corrosion,interface bonding failure,detachment,and high maintenance ***,we have developed intelligent self-healing technology based on proactive/passive mechanisms via in situ synthesis of self-healing factors(polydopamine/benzotriazole(PDA/BTA))and physical barrier layers(SiO_(2)/1,1,1,3,3,3-hexamethyl disilazane,SiO_(2)/HMDS)to enhance corrosion resistance,while also being compatible with efficient microwave absorption *** unique multiscale structure gives full play to the utilization of the roles of each functional layer,including the intelligent self-healing features of PDA/BTA,physical shielding and spatial confinement characteristics of SiO_(2)/HMDS,and magnetic-dielectric synergistic mechanism resulted from the good impedance matching characteristics,the conduction loss,the interfacial polarization loss and natural *** asfabricated composites achieved an exceptional minimum reflection loss value of-55.4 dB at 10.7 GHz and the effective absorption band of 7.6 ***,it still exhibits obvious self-healing and corrosion resistance characteristics after 360 h corrosion treatment,ascribed to the self-healing mechanism of PDA/BTA and the blocking intervention effect of SiO_(2)/*** work is considered to pave the way for the synthesis of high-performance magnetic absorbers,especially in enhancing their intelligent self-healing ability in corrosive environments.

Digitally-Assisted Analog Self-Interference Cancellation for STAR System

To enable simultaneous transmit and receive(STAR)on the same frequency in a densely deployed space with multi-interference sources,this work proposes a digitally-assisted analog selfinterference cancellation method,which can acquire reference signals through flexible wired/wireless switching *** on this method,the Minimum Mean Square Error algorithm with known channel state information is derived in detail,determining the upper limit of the cancellation performance,and the Adaptive Dithered Linear Search algorithm for real-time engineering cancellation is *** correctness of theoretical analysis is verified by the practical self-interference channel measured by a vector network ***,we have designed and implemented the corresponding multiinterference cancellation prototype with the digitallyassisted structure,capable of handling multiple interferences(up to three)and supporting a large receive bandwidth of 100 MHz as well as a wide frequency coverage from 30 MHz to 3000 *** test results demonstrate that in the presence of three interferences,when the single interference bandwidth is 0.2/2/20 MHz(corresponding to the receive bandwidth of 2/20/100 MHz),the cancellation performance can reach 46/32/22 dB or more.

An improved mask R-CNN example segmentation algorithm based on RGB-D

Combining the characteristics of RGB images and depth images, we propose a reverse fusion instance segmentation algorithm that effectively combines the advantages of RGB and depth information by fusing high-level semantic features with low-level edge detail features. The algorithm uses RGB and depth information in RGB-D images, extracts features from RGB and depth images separately using a Feature Pyramid Network (FPN) and upsamples the high-level features to the same size as the bottommost features. Subsequently, we apply the inverse fusion method to fuse the high-level features with the low-level features. At the same time, a mask optimisation structure is introduced in the mask branch to achieve RGB-D reverse fusion instance segmentation. Experimental results show that this reverse fusion feature model gives satisfactory performance in RGB-D instance segmentation. On the basis of using ResNet-101 as the backbone network, the average accuracy is improved by 10.6% compared with Mask R-CNN without fusing depth information. Complexions-Dominated Plastic Transmission and Mechanical Response in Cu-Based Nanolayered Composites

Thermodynamically stable and ultra-thin"phase"at the interface,known as complexions,can significantly improve the mechanical properties of nanolayered ***,the effect of complexions features(e.g.,crystalline orientation,crystalline structure and amorphous composition)on the plastic deformation remains inadequately investigated,and the corre-lation with the plastic transmission and mechanical response has not been fully ***,using atomistic simulations,we elucidate the different complexions-dominated plastic transmission and mechanical *** can alter the preferred slip system of dislocation nucleation,depending on the Schmid factor and interface *** nucleation,the dislocation density exhibits an inverse correlation with the stress magnitude,because the number of dislocations influences the initiation of plastic deformation and determines the stress *** crystalline complexions with different structures and orientations,the ability of dislocation transmission is mainly dependent on the continuity of the slip *** plastic transmission can easily proceed and exhibits relatively low flow stress when the slip system is *** the case of amorphous complexions with different compositions,compositional variations impact the atomic percentage of shear trans-formation zones after loading,resulting in different magnitudes of plastic *** smaller plastic deformation is produced,less stress can be released contributing to higher flow *** findings reveal the role of the complexions on plasticity behavior and provide valuable insights for the design of nanolayered composites.

To address the hazardous by-product of zinc smelting and resource utilization of jarosite residue,this study applies an electric field-assisted hot acid treatment to completely recycle iron(Fe).This innovative approach aims to enhance the leaching efficiency of Fe from jarosite *** introduction of an electric field changes the charge distribution on the surface of the particles to enhance ions and electrons exchange and promotes the collision between particles to strengthen reaction *** on the above,the leaching efficiency of Fe in jarosite under sulfuric acid attack has improved *** result shows that Fe leaching efficiency reaches 98.83%,which is increased by 28%under the optimal experimental conditions:current density of 30 mA·cm^(-2),H_(2)SO_(4) concentration of 1.5 mol·L^(-1),solid-liquid ratio of 70 g·L^(-1),temperature of 80℃ and time of 12 *** kinetics calculations show that the apparent activation energy is 16.97 kJ·mol^(-1) and the leaching of jarosite residue is controlled by a mixture of chemical reaction and diffusion,as well as the temperature and concentration of the leaching solution have an influence on *** work provides a feasible idea for the efficient leaching of Fe from jarosite residue.
