Most research on antibiotics in the environment disregards chiral antibiotics,such as ofloxacin(OF).In this study,tadpoles of Rana nigromaculata were exposed to 1μg/L OF and levofloxacin(LVFX,an enantiomer of OF)for 75 *** with dextrofloxacin,LVFX treatment had a greater effect on the inhibition of bodyweight,body length,development stage,and pathological liver ***,OF exerts a stereoselective inhibitory effect on both growth and development,which is consistent with the results at the systemic metabolism *** analysis revealed that the differentially expressed genes between OF and LVFX were mainly immune *** metabolomics showed that the stereoselective biological effect of OF on *** was caused by differences in contents of PE-O 16:0-22:4,PE 16:0-14:0,TAG 45:0-FA16:0,PE-P 18:0-16:0,PE 16:0-16:0,PC 16:0-22:4+AcO,PE 18:1-18:3,PC 16:1-18:1+AcO,and PC 18:1-18:3+***,two enantiomers of OF were selectively bound to enzymes related to lipid *** study provides both theoretical and practical references for the accurate evaluation and scientific control of the ecological risk of chiral antibiotics.

Magnesium implants have received widespread attention in orthopaedic ***,the mechanical degradation and concurrent inflammation caused by the rapid corrosion of Mg limits their *** this study,a kind of unique core-shell heterojunction CuS@PPy nanostructures was synthesized and then incorporated in polycaprolactone(PCL)to construct an intelligent coating(CuS@PPy/PCL)on micro-arc-oxidized Mg *** PCL-based coating can realize near-infrared(NIR)-driven antibacterial and controllable Mg dissolution according to different bone healing *** the beginning of bone remodelling,the coating exhibits promising antibacterial properties with 99.67%and 99.17%efficacy against *** and ***,respectively,thanks to the singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2))and alkoxyl radicals(RO·)generated by the photodynamic effect of CuS@PPy heterojunction under low-power NIR light(1.5 W/cm^(2)).In the bone reparative stage,the PCL-based coating can maintain high corrosion resistance to meet the mechanical requirements of Mg implants in human body ***,after the complete rehabilitation of bones,through a high-power(2 W/cm^(2))NIR light,the PCL-based coating changed from an elastic to a viscous flow state(44.7℃)under the photothermal effects of CuS@PPy,leading to quick degradation of the PCL-based coating and following accelerating dissolution of the Mg implant(avoiding secondary surgery).Hopefully,this NIR-responsive coating may provide an innovative method for the antibacterial and controllable dissolution of Mg implants.

Transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)are promising high performance electronic materials due to their interesting semiconductor ***,it is acknowledged that the effective electrical contact between TMDCs-layered materials and metals remains one of the major *** this work,the homogeneous monolayer MoS_(2)films with high crystalline quality were prepared by chemical vapor deposition method on SiO2/Si *** back-gate field-effect transistors(FETs)were fabricated by inserting an ultrathin Al_(2)O_(3)interlayer between the metal electrodes and MoS_(2)*** the addition of an ultrathin 0.8 nm Al_(2)O_(3)interlayer,the contact resistance decreased dramatically from 59.9 to 1.3 kΩμm and the Schottky barrier height(SBH)dropped from 102 to 27 meV compared with devices without the Al_(2)O_(3)*** the same time,the switching ratio increased from~106to~108,and both the on-current and field-effect mobility were greatly *** find that the ultrathin Al_(2)O_(3)interlayer can not only reduce the SBH to alleviate the Fermi level pinning phenomenon at the interface,but also protect the channel materials from the influence of air and moisture as a covering *** addition,the lattice and band structures of Al_(2)O_(3)/MoS_(2)film were calculated and analyzed by first-principles *** is found that the total density of states of the Al_(2)O_(3)/MoS_(2)film exhibits interfacial polarized metals property,which proves the higher carrier transport *** with Al_(2)O_(3)interlayers have excellent stability and repeatability,which can provide effective references for future low power and high performance electronic devices.

Metabolomics and gene expression levels reveal the positive effects of teaseed oil on lifespan and aging process in Caenorhabditis elegans

As an irreplaceable dietary constituent,lipids play a vital important role in health,but their effects on aging process and longevity are still not well known *** this paper,the metabolic profiling and gene expression levels of Caenorhabditis elegans were investigated to explore the effects of different edible oils on senescence and *** results showed that teaseed oil(TO)could prolong the life expectancy and slow down the aging process of *** to the control group,the intake of lard oil(LO)and TO increased the expression levels of genes related to inhibition of protein aggregation(akt-1,daf-16,hsf-1,hsp-16.2)and lipid metabolism(daf-7,daf-1,mdt-15,lipl-4,fat-5,fat-6,fat-7),with a more significant alteration in TO *** revealed that palm oil can upregulated plenty of fatty acids(palmitic acid,stearic acid,tetracosanoic acid),together with some amino acids(tryptophan,L-aspartate,L-valine)and carbohydrate(D-glucose),while the trend was opposite in TO ***,moderate-to-strong correlations were found between differential metabolites and changed *** general,this paper claimed that TO could prolong lifespan and slow down aging process via regulating the lipids,amino acids and carbohydrates metabolism.

With advances in the thrust-weight ratio,the service temperature of gas turbine engines even exceeds 1500℃,which is urgent for the development of high/superhigh-temperature thermal protection systems(TPSs)for long-term *** alloys are increasingly viewed as promising structural materials for high-temperature applications because of their superior high-temperature mechanical strength,but the“pest”catastrophic oxidation greatly restricts their further *** this study,a HfC–HfO_(2)-modified silicide coating was prepared via an innovative method of halide-activated pack cementation(HAPC)combined with liquid-plasma-assisted particle deposition and sintering of niobium alloys,resulting in a composite coating with excellent hot corrosion resistance and high-temperature oxidation *** modified multilayer coating is characterized by the synergistic combination of a dense NbSi_(2) inner layer and a HfC–HfO_(2) porous outer layer,resulting in a significant improvement in high-temperature performance compared with that of the single NbSi_(2) *** corrosion gain of the composite coating is only 13.94 mg·cm^(−2) after a corrosion time of 200 h at 900℃,and an intact oxide scale surface is observed after oxidation at 1500℃for 500 *** improvement is attributed to the formation of a robust Hf-rich skeleton provided by the deposited HfC–HfO_(2) layer,which can accelerate the formation of a highly stable corroded layer/oxide *** addition,multiple stress release mechanisms of the composite coating at high temperatures also provide substantial contributions to long-term *** these merits make HfC–HfO_(2)-modified composite coatings on niobium alloys competitive for the development of high/superhigh-temperature thermal protection systems for long-term service.

Two-dimensional(2D)WSe_(2)has received increasing attention due to its unique optical properties and bipolar *** WSe_(2)-based heterojunctions exhibit bidirectional rectification characteristics,but most devices have a lower rectification *** this work,the Bi_(2)O_(2)Se/WSe_(2)heterojunction prepared by us has a typeⅡband alignment,which can vastly suppress the channel current through the interface barrier so that the Bi_(2)O_(2)Se/WSe_(2)heterojunction device has a large rectification ratio of about 10^(5).Meanwhile,under different gate voltage modulation,the current on/off ratio of the device changes by nearly five orders of magnitude,and the maximum current on/off ratio is expected to be achieved *** photocurrent measurement reveals the behavior of recombination and space charge confinement,further verifying the bidirectional rectification behavior of heterojunctions,and it also exhibits excellent performance in light *** the future,Bi_(2)O_(2)Se/WSe_(2)heterojunction field-effect transistors have great potential to reduce the volume of integrated circuits as a bidirectional controlled switching device.

The sea surface wind field is an important physical parameter in oceanography and *** the continuous refinement of numerical weather prediction,air-sea interface materials,energy exchange,and other studies,three-dimensional(3D)wind field distribution at local locations on the sea surface must be measured *** current in-situ observation of sea surface wind parameters is mainly achieved through the installation of wind sensors on ocean data ***,the results obtained from this single-point measurement method cannot reflect wind field distribution in a vertical direction above the sea ***,the present paper proposes a theoretical framework for the optimal inversion of the 3D wind field structure variation in the area where the buoy is *** variation analysis method is first used to reconstruct the wind field distribution at different heights of the buoy,after which theoretical analysis verification and numerical simulation experiments are *** results indicate that the use of variational methods to reconstruct 3D wind fields is significantly effective in eliminating disturbance errors in observations,which also verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis of this *** findings of this article can provide a reference for the layout optimization design of wind measuring instruments in buoy observation systems and also provide theoretical guidance for the design of new observation buoys in the future.

In order to study the problems of unreasonable airflow distribution and serious dust pollution in a heading surface,an experimental platform for forced ventilation and dust removal was built based on the similar *** the similar experiment and numerical simulation,the distribution of airflow field in the roadway and the spatial and temporal evolution of dust pollution under the conditions of forced ventilation were *** airflow field in the roadway can be divided into three zones:jet zone,vortex zone and reflux *** dust concentration gradually decreases from the head to the rear of the *** the forced ventilation conditions,there is a unilateral accumulation of dust,with higher dust concentrations away from the *** position of the equipment has an interception effect on the *** maximum error between the test value and the simulation result is 12.9%,which verifies the accuracy of the experimental *** research results can provide theoretical guidance for the application of dust removal technology in coal mine.

In spatial modulation systems,the reliability of the active antenna detection is of vital importance since the modulated symbols tend to be correctly demodulated when the active antennas are accurately *** this paper,we propose a spatial coded modulation(SCM)scheme,which improves the accuracy of the active antenna detection by coding over the transmit ***,the antenna activation pattern in the SCM corresponds to a codeword in a properly designed codebook with a larger minimum Hamming distance than the conventional spatial *** the minimum Hamming distance increases,the reliability of the active antenna detection is directly enhanced,which yields a better system *** addition to the reliability,the proposed SCM scheme also achieves a higher capacity with the identical antenna configuration compared to the conventional *** optimal maximum likelihood detector is first ***,a low-complexity suboptimal detector is proposed to reduce the computational *** derivations of the channel capacity and the bit error rate are presented in various channel *** derivation on performance bounding is also provided to reveal the insight of the benefit of increasing the minimum Hamming *** results validate the analysis and demonstrate that the proposed SCM outperforms the conventional spatial modulation techniques in both channel capacity and system reliability.

Oily wastewater from ocean oil spills endangers marine ecosystems and human health. Therefore, developing an effective and sustainable solution for separating oil-water mixtures is urgent. Interfacial solar photothermal evaporation is a promising approach for the complete separation of two-phase mixtures using only solar energy. Herein, we report a carbonized wood-based absorber with Janus structure of comprising a hydrophobic top-layer and an oleophobic bottom-layer for simultaneous solar-driven oil-water separation and electricity generation. Under sunlight irradiation, the rapid evaporation of seawater will induce a separation of oil-water mixtures, and cause a high salt concentration region underlying the interface, while the bottom “bulk water” maintains in a low salt concentration, thus forming a salinity gradient. Electricity can be generated by salinity gradient power. Therefore, oil-water separation efficiency of > 99% and derived extra electricity power of ~0.1 W/m2 is achieved under solar radiation, demonstrating the feasibility of oil-water separation and electricity production synchronously directly using solar energy. This work provides a green and cost-effective path for the separation of oil-water mixtures.
