The extensive utilization of aircraft as a mode of transportation and the accelerated expansion of the aviation market have imposed heightened expectations on airport scheduling capabilities. To enhance the efficacy of aircraft ground operations and diminish the duration of runway occupation, the analysis of aircraft motion characteristics and the management of their ground taxiing trajectories assume greater significance. This paper provides an overview of aircraft ground taxiing control technology. This paper provides a brief overview of the key parameters and trajectory prediction methods involved in the aircraft landing process. The nonlinear analysis theory is employed to introduce the aircraft brake system stability and heading stability. Subsequently, the results of significant research on ground skidding control laws are presented. The fourth section presents a summary of the issues and technological developments in aircraft ground skid run control and outlines future research priorities in anti-skid brake control. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2024.

Geiger mode Avalanche Photo Diode (Gm-APD) array lidar is a lidar that can perform single-photon detection. It offers a wide range of applications due to its low power consumption, small size, and extended detecting distance. There haven't been many research on this detector's target classification because of its late development and small detector array. The classification technique based on the Gm-APD array lidar point cloud is the focus of this paper's research: Firstly, the Gm-APD array lidar is utilized to perform imaging tests on four targets from various angles in order to create a target classification *** that, several data preprocessing methods were chosen and implemented based on the characteristics of the obtained data, such as filling in missing values, performing range image and intensity image interpolation, using the principle of keyhole imaging to convert the range image to point cloud data, realizing the information fusion of distance image and intensity image, and using multiple point cloud data enhancement methods. Finally, the point cloud classification networks PointNet and PointNet++ are trained on point cloud data with varying levels of preprocessing, the results are compared and analyzed, and the impact of different preprocessing methods on the classification accuracy of the two networks is determined. Inferences were made and experiments were carried out to verify the inferences. The data set preprocessing method with the highest classification accuracy of the two networks is discovered, laying the groundwork for future Gm-APD lidar target classification and detection research. © 2023 SPIE.

Printable mesoscopic perovskite solar cells(PM-PSCs)possess notable merits in terms of cost-effectiveness,easy manufacturing,and large scale ***,the absence of a hole transport layer contributes to the exacerbation of carrier recombination,and the defects between the perovskite and electron transport layer(ETL)interfaces significantly decrease the efficiency of the *** this study,a bifunctional surface passivation approach is proposed by applying a thioacetamide(TAA)surfactant on the mesoporous TiO_(2)*** results demonstrate that TAA molecules could interact with TiO_(2),thereby diminishing the oxygen vacancy ***,the amino group and sulfur atoms in TAA molecules act as Lewis base to effectively passivate the uncoordinated Pb^(2+)in perovskite and improve the morphology of perovskite,and decrease the trap-state density of *** TAA passivation mechanism improves the alignment of energy levels between TiO_(2)and perovskite,facilitating electron transport and reducing carrier ***,the TAA-passivated device achieved a champion power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 17.86%with a high fill factor(FF)of 79.16%and an open-circuit voltage(V_(OC))of 0.971 *** investigation presents a feasible strategy for interfacial passivation of the ETL to further improve the efficiency of PM-PSCs.

Optimization design containing dimension and buffer parameters of landing legs for reusable landing vehicle

For the landing legs with single air chamber in the buffer structure of the reusable landing vehicle,the geometric topological models and the dynamic model associated with the hard points of the landing legs are *** geometric constraint relationship in the design of the landing legs is also *** whole vehicle dropping test is conducted,and the test results agree well with that of the simulation model,which validates the dynamic *** on the verified model,the effect of hard point positions on the performance of the landing system is *** multidisciplinary collaborative optimization algorithm and archive-based micro genetic algorithm(CO-AMGA)are used to optimize the design parameters that contain the hard points and the *** with artificial iteration,the maximum landing impact acceleration response of the vehicle and the buffer struct maximum force are reduced by 30.70%and 14.51%respectively,and the maximum length of retractable pillar decreases by 8.54%while the design margin increases by 69.11%.The proposed optimization method is efficient and can greatly facilitate the design of landing legs.

Organic peroxides, due to temperature manipulation failure and/or manner disturbances, had been probable to lead to the prevalence of runaway phenomena, even fire, and explosion. Cumene hydroperoxide (CHP), is a traditional liquid organic peroxide for industrial purposes and is applied as a free radical initiator for polymerization reactions in the petrochemical industry. Its utilization in the industrial processes had certain potential safety hazards. In this work, linearly ramped thermal decomposition in CHP was performed using differential scanning calorimetry under a nitrogen atmosphere. Kinetic analysis is made using data from the ramped measurements with two integral strategies (Flynn-Wall-Ozawa and Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose). The gaseous products of thermal decomposition in CHP are investigated via thermal gravimetric evaluation coupled with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. Combined with the experimental results, the possible decomposition path of CHP is discussed. This makes up the gap of unclear decomposition mechanism of CHP in inert atmosphere, and has important reference significance for its industrial production and application. © 2023

A Valuable and Low-Budget Process Scheme of Equivalized 1 nm technology Node Based on 2D Materials

Emerging two-dimensional（2D） semiconductors are among the most promising materials for ultra-scaled transistors due to their intrinsic atomic-level thickness. As the stacking process advances, the complexity and cost of nanosheet field-effect transistors（NSFETs） and complementary FET（CFET） continue to rise. The 1 nm technology node is going to be based on Si-CFET process according to international roadmap for devices and systems（IRDS）(2022, https://irds. ieee. org/), but not publicly confirmed, indicating that more possibilities still exist. The miniaturization advantage of 2D semiconductors motivates us to explore their potential for reducing process costs while matching the performance of next-generation nodes in terms of area, power consumption and speed. In this study, a comprehensive framework is built. A set of MoS2NSFETs were designed and fabricated to extract the key parameters and performances. And then for benchmarking, the sizes of 2D-NSFET are scaled to a extent that both of the Si-CFET and 2D-NSFET have the same average device footprint. Under these conditions, the frequency of ultra-scaled 2D-NSFET is found to improve by 36% at a fixed power consumption. This work verifies the feasibility of replacing silicon-based CFETs of 1 nm node with 2D-NSFETs and proposes a 2D technology solution for 1 nm nodes, i.e., “2D eq 1 nm” nodes. At the same time, thanks to the lower characteristic length of 2D semiconductors, the miniaturized 2D-NSFET achieves a 28% frequency increase at a fixed power consumption. Further, developing a standard cell library, these devices obtain a similar trend in 16-bit RISC-V CPUs. This work quantifies and highlights the advantages of 2D semiconductors in advanced nodes, offering new possibilities for the application of 2D semiconductors in high-speed and low-power integrated circuits.

Oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)occurs at the cathode of electrochemical devices like fuel cells and in the Huron-Dow process,reducing oxygen to water or hydrogen *** the past years,various electrocatalysts with enhanced activity,selectivity,and durability have been developed for ***,an atomic-level understanding of how materials composition affects electrocatalytic performance has not yet been achieved,which prevents us from designing efficient catalysts based on the requirements of practical *** is partially because of the polydispersity of traditional catalysts and their unknown structure dynamics in the electrocatalytic *** we establish a full-spectrum of atomically precise and robust Au_(x)Ag_(25-x)(MHA)18(x=0–25,and MHA=6-mercaptohexanoic acid)nanoclusters(NCs)and systematically investigate their composition-dependent catalytic performance for ORR at the atomic *** results show that,with the increasing number of Au atoms in Au_(x)Ag_(25-x)(MHA)18 NCs,the electron transfer number gradually decreases from 3.9 for Ag25(MHA)18 to 2.1 for Au25(MHA)18,indicating that the dominant oxygen reduction product alters from water to hydrogen *** functional theory simulations reveal that the Gibbs free energy of OOH adsorption(ΔGOOH*)on Au25 is closest to the idealΔGOOH*of 4.22 eV to produce H_(2)O_(2),while Ag alloying makes theΔGOOH*deviate from the optimal value and leads to the production of *** study suggests that alloy NCs are promising paradigms for unveiling composition-dependent electrocatalytic performance of metal nanoparticles at the atomic level.

This study examines the critical velocity for initiating a covered explosive via fragment impact, crucial for enhancing ammunition safety and reliability. Using numerical simulation techniques, the initiation threshold and influencing factors under non-normal impact conditions are investigated, which are more relevant to battlefield scenarios. The Jacobs-Roslund formula for NTO based insensitive explosive is calibrated, which is applicable for both flat-nosed and standard conical-nosed fragments. To account for a large range of impact angles, a correction term is introduced, and the predicted values are in good agreement with the simulation results. The effects of fragment pitch, yaw, and charge curvature on the critical velocity are found to be minimal at impact angle not exceeding 25°. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing.
