Generative API usage code recommendation with parameter concretization

Many programming languages and development frameworks have extensive libraries(e.g., JDK and Android libraries) that ease the task of software engineering if used effectively. With numerous library classes and sometimes intricate API(application programming interface) usage constraints, programmers often have difficulty remembering the library APIs and/or using them correctly. This study addresses this problem by developing an engine called DeepAPIRec, which automatically recommends the API usage *** to the existing proposals, our approach distinguishes itself in two ways. First, it is based on a tree-based long short-term memory(LSTM) neural network inspired by recent developments in the machinelearning community. A tree-based LSTM neural network allows us to model and reason about variable-length,preceding and succeeding code contexts, and to make precise predictions. Second, we apply data-flow analysis to generate concrete parameters for the API usage code, which not only allows us to generate complete code recommendations but also improves the accuracy of the learning results according to the tree-based LSTM neural network. Our approach has been implemented for supporting Java programs. Our experimental studies on the JDK library show that at statement-level recommendations, DeepAPIRec can achieve a top-1 accuracy of about 37% and a top-5 accuracy of about 64%, which are significantly better than the existing approaches. Our user study further confirms that DeepAPIRec can help developers to complete a segment of code faster and more accurately as compared to IntelliJ IDEA.

A lunar regolith in-situ analysis payload deploying a mass spectrometer is proposed to exactly detect the water ice of the South Pole of the moon for china future lunar exploration missions. In order to realize the goal, an airtight heating furnace for volatile extraction from lunar regolith is desired. In this paper, sealing methods for lunar regolith volatile in heating furnace to future proposed in-situ sampling and analysis of lunar samples were investigated based on power requirements, furnace closing accuracy requirements, dust tolerance and operation in the Lunar environment. Methods implemented include a balanced metal hollow ring seal, a double channel ferrule tab ring radial seal and a spring energized seal. Comparing the performance of sealing methods under the above conditions, a spring energized seal is selected as the heating furnace seal. The materials and structure of the seal are designed based on the rigidity requirements, leakage rate requirements and working environment requirements. In order to test the sealing performance of seals after repeated sealing in high and low temperature environments, a seal leak detection system was designed. The test results indicate that the seal can meet the sealing performance requirements after repeated sealing at various temperatures.

To combat the contaminating effects of heavy-metal ions on water resources, we prepared blue photonitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots (NCDs) from Salix psammophila (SP) as a raw material, doped them into a microcrystalline cellulose hydrogel, and successfully created a composite hydrogel (NCDs-SP-MCC-gels) for concurrent fluorescence detection and Fe3+ adsorption. The NCDs-SP-MCC-gel was examined for their shape, chemical composition, fluorescence characteristics, and adsorption behaviors. Results demonstrated that the NCD-SP-MCC-gels displayed a broad linear range of Fe3+ fluorescence response (200–1000 mg/L;detection limit = 56.2632 mg/L) and a high adsorption capacity for Fe3+ (610 mg/g). The adsorption data fitted the Langmuir and pseudo-second-order models well. Further research was conducted on Fe3+ detection and adsorption onto the NCD-SP-MCC-gels. This study proposes a green and sustainable way to create a material for the detection and absorption of heavy-metal ions. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The supercooled water droplets in the air will form a water film on the aircraft during flight, which will then form icing, which will have an impact on the aerodynamic performance of the aircraft and even endanger the flight safety. In this paper, based on the Eulerian Wall Films model, the partial wetting effect is introduced, and the water film flow on flat plates driven by airflow shear force is investigated. The flow behaviours of water film with different contact angles under different flow rates were explored through water film test. The effectiveness of the calculation method for water film flow characteristics in this paper was verified by comparison between numerical simulation and test records, which laid a foundation for the anti-icing calculation in subsequent studies.

In the severe high-temperature environment caused by aerodynamic heating,the vibrational excitation,dissociation and ionization of gas may successively occur,which are known as real gas *** the real gas effects,the thermodynamic properties of gas vary drastically and significantly influence the performances of the active thermal protection system of hypersonic vehicles,especially in the case with coolant outflow,for example transpiration *** paper numerically investigates the transpiration cooling performance with the consideration of the interaction between coolant outflow and hypersonic flow under the real gas *** mathematical models and coupled numerical strategy are firstly validated by experimental data,then the influences of real gas effects on the transpiration cooling of a wedged leading edge(WLE) are studied under a flight Mach number range from 8 to 12 and a flight height of 40 *** analysis and discussions of the numerical results reveal some important phenomena and demonstrate the need to consider real gas effects.

Hafnia-based oxide thin films exhibit unconventional robust ferroelectricity at the nanoscale, paving the way for advancements in next-generation nanoelectronics. However, the stability and dynamics of ferroelectric polarization in hafnia-based oxides films, particularly at the nanoscale, warrant further exploration. In this study, we delve into the factors influencing the formation of the ferroelectric phase. Our findings illuminate that the confinement effect of the capped layer enhances the stabilization of the metastable orthorhombic phase, thereby bolstering its ferroelectricity and endurance. Furthermore, we identify an unprecedented polarization-switching behavior in HfO2-based ferroelectric films, characterized by a decrease in the remanent polarization and an increase in the coercive field as the temperature drops. This peculiar phenomenon can be ascribed to the reduction in the long-range interaction of polarization dipoles upon cooling, as evidenced by the dielectric spectrum. The diminished long-range interaction results in the emergence of nanodomains and a re-entrant relaxer behavior, offering novel insights into the origin of ferroelectricity and the stability of ferroelectric polarization in hafnia-based thin films. Given the commendable compatibility of Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 films with Si substrates and a pyroelectric coefficient of -62.1 μC/m2·K, they emerge as a prime candidate for sensor device applications. © 2023, The Authors. Investigations on the Two-Phase Flow and Heat Transfer Behaviors in a Central Uniform Dispersion-Type Heat Exchanger

In order to improve the temperature uniformity of multiple chips, a central uniform distributed heat exchanger (CUD) is designed. Firstly, using ethanol solution as coolant, the cooling ability of the heat exchanger is numerically investigated by using VOF gas-liquid two-phase flow model, and the two-phase flow experimental system is established to verify the correctness of the numerical results. The results verifies the accuracy of the numerical simulation method. Secondly, the two-phase flow boiling heat transfer behavior are compared with that of single-phase flow with water as coolant. The results show that with the increase of inlet flow, the thermal resistance and average temperature of two-phase flow change less than that of single-phase flow. This indicating that two-phase flow has better advantages in improving the temperature uniformity of multiple heat sources. Thirdly, the heat transfer characteristics of radiators with different Wi are studied. Finally, the prediction functions of the boiling heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop is established, and the multi-objective genetic algorithm is used to obtain the best parameters of this heat exchanger.. Furthermore, the heat dissipation of the optimized heat exchanger design is studied numerically. The simulated results are in good agreement with the optimization results. © 2022, The Authors. A better understanding of the mmWave channel coherence time will play a significant role in both communication and sensing. Traditional literatures consider that the channel coherence time in mmWave communication will be very short due to high frequency, which makes the channel estimation more difficult. However, we believe that the propagation characteristics of the mmWave channel will affect its coherence time, i.e., channel sparsity may limit its time variability. In this paper, we investigate the time-varying nature of mmWave channel by analyzing its Doppler spread based on the clustered sparsity model. After the derivation of Doppler spectrum DPS and the simulation analysis based on the two-cluster channel, we found that the maximum angle between clusters and the power distribution between clusters are two main factors limiting the Doppler spread. Finally, the realistic mmWave NYUSIM model is used for Doppler spread comparative analysis with Clarke’s model and find that Doppler spread of NYUSIM channel is far less than that estimated based on Clarke’s model. Thus, it is demonstrated that even if the mmWave frequency is high, the clustered sparsity characteristics makes its channel coherence time not as short as thought intuitively, which is meaningful for mmWave vehicular sensing and communication.

Assessment of Coupled Effect of Steam Pipes on Seismic Analysis of reactor Coolant system

reactor coolant system is connected with auxiliary pipes, surge pipes and steam pipes. In order to facilitate the dynamic analysis of reactor coolant system, it is necessary to decouple the pipes connected with the reactor coolant system. Although some international standards stipulating requirements for the decoupling of subsystems from the main system, in order to further explore the influence of decoupling steam pipes, the seismic response of reactor coolant system with or without steam pipes is simulated by using ANSYS program. Firstly, the modal analysis of reactor coolant system is carried out to analysis the influence of steam pipes on the resonant frequency of reactor system. Then, the standardized seismic dynamic analysis of reactor system with or without steam pipes is carried out. The nozzle load (inlet and outlet nozzle load of main device, such as reactor pressure vessel, steam generator, pump) and support load (of main device such as reactor pressure vessel, steam generator, pump) are output and compared. According to nozzle load and support load, it can be seen that the steam pipes have little influence on the seismic analysis of reactor coolant system, i.e. steam pipes can be decoupled in the seismic analysis of reactor coolant system.
