The combination of laser radar and IMU inertial navigation technology can establish a real-time point cloud map of the vehicle’s surrounding environment. The combination of navigation technology can accurately restore the external environment of the tank. Even in the dark and harsh weather conditions, the observer can effectively observe the external environment of the tank. For internal sensors, IMU inertial navigation can monitor the acceleration and angular velocity information based on the carrier’s motion status to obtain the carrier’s pose transformation state. Based on the tank-mounted multi-line laser radar as the hardware basis, research is conducted on algorithms such as data collection, matching, and pose calculation of laser point cloud data. This fusion positioning algorithm is based on the LeGO-LOAM algorithm for laser radar. The input source in the algorithm is laser point cloud data and the gyroscope data and accelerometer data of IMU inertial navigation. The laser radar sensor can obtain pose information through its own point cloud registration, and the IMU inertial navigation algorithm can obtain corresponding velocity and pose information through a strapdown navigation algorithm. The output information of IMU in the algorithm serves as the initial value for the laser radar sensor to solve the pose information. Through the ESKF algorithm, the updated laser radar data information and the real-time output information of IMU are fused to provide pose information for inter-frame registration of laser point clouds. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Practical application has shown that this method solves the output current ripple and the rise and fall time of the current, meeting the working requirements of rod control power supply in nuclear power plants.

To address the problems of poor generality and difficulty in obtaining opti-mal parameter combinations for existing surrogate models, this paper pro-poses a construction strategy for an adaptive Elliptic Basis Function neural network model based on particle swarm optimization (PSO-EBF). The K-means clustering algorithm is introduced in the EBF model to improve the efficiency and diversity of model construction. On this basis, the PSO algorithm is introduced to take the EBF model parameters: width coefficient, number of kernel functions, smoothing coefficient, etc. as design variables, and take the model determination coefficient R2 as the optimization objective, and automatically search for the optimal parameter combination of the model. The numerical experimental results show that the PSO-EBF model constructed in this paper can effectively improve the efficiency of surrogate model construction. Compared with ISight commercial software, the accuracy of the PSO-EBF model is higher than that of the traditional EBF model, which proves that this adaptive model can effectively solve the complexity and blindness of surrogate model construction process and improve the efficiency of model construction. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

The initial disturbance of the projectile has an important impact on the accuracy of artillery shooting, and in order to reduce the initial disturbance and improve the shooting accuracy of large-caliber artillery, a high-speed camera method is adopted to study the initial disturbance of the projectile. The velocity, attitude angle, and angular velocity of the projectile at the muzzle are used to characterize the initial disturbance of the projectile. A binocular camera calibration model is constructed to obtain the camera parameter matrix, and the three-dimensional reconstruction of the markers on the projectile and the gun barrel is performed to obtain the initial disturbance parameters of the projectile and the muzzle vibration parameters. This method has the characteristics of non-contact and strong flexibility, and the obtained experimental data truly reflects the state of the projectile at the muzzle and the muzzle vibration parameters during the period from launch to muzzle exit of the projectile. Truck-Mounted Howitzer has outstanding advantages such as a high level of information technology, good tactical mobility, and strong comprehensive combat capabilities, playing an important role in modern warfare. Different road surfaces and vehicle speeds seriously affect the off-road performance of Truck-Mounted Howitzer. To study the dynamic characteristics of the Truck-Mounted Howitzer under different working conditions, this paper establishes a three-dimensional model and a driving dynamic model of the Truck-Mounted Howitzer. Dynamic simulation analysis is carried out using SOLIDWORKS Motion software to obtain the dynamic characteristics of typical parts of the vehicle body under different road surfaces and vehicle speeds, and its ride comfort is evaluated. The accuracy of the simulation results is verified through comparison with experimental data. This paper presents a novel learning-based method for a robotic manipulator to achieve liquid pouring across different liquid levels using only visual sensors. Previous works have relied on either online reinforcement learning or imitation learning, which are limited by sim-to-real gaps or data efficiency. In this paper, we propose to combine supervised learning and offline reinforcement learning, utilizing a human demonstration dataset containing only successful pouring at the highest level. Specifically, our approach employs supervised learning for a visual classifier, transforming the visual input into a categorical distribution over liquid levels. The offline reinforcement learning method is applied to a binary-conditioned control policy, which takes a binary signal and the robot's proprioception as inputs to determine the action. The binary signal indicates whether the desired liquid level has been reached based on the target liquid level. Through experiments, our method demonstrates superior effectiveness compared to a state-of-the-art imitation learning algorithm. Moreover, tests in unseen scenarios and multiple liquid level commands verify the generalization and transferability of our approach. © 2024 IEEE.

The shielding effectiveness (SE) of structural components is one of the important indicators of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance, and it is related to the size, material, frequency and test points position in the structure. The measurement of SE is governed by a variety of factors. SE of structural components is affected by the measuring antenna size which is adopted to different frequencies and the testability of certain observation points. To address this issue, this paper introduces an example of the SE of DCS cabinet of nuclear power plant control system, where the neural network algorithm was used to build the relationship between spatial location and SE in the cabinet at specified frequency, so that the SE of unknown points could be predicted by the SE of known points. Besids, the model parameters were optimized by training with a large amount of data, the HPR1000 safety-class DCS cabinet was adopted for the verification, and high prediction accuracy was obtained. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Liquid metal-based microchannel heat sinks (MCHSs) suffer from the low heat capacity of coolant, resulting in an excessive temperature rise of coolant and heat sink when dealing with high-power heat dissipation. In this paper, it was found that expanded space at the top of fins could distribute the heat inside microchannels, reducing the temperature rise of coolant and heat sink. The orthogonal experiments revealed that expanding the top space of channels yielded similar temperature reductions to changing the channel width. The flow and thermal modeling of expanded microchannel heat sink (E-MCHS) were analyzed by both using the 3-dimensional (3D) numerical simulation and the 1-dimensional (1D) thermal resistance model. The fin efficiency of E-MCHS was derived to improve the accuracy of the 1D thermal resistance model. The heat conduction of liquid metal in Z direction and the heat convection between the top surface of fins and the liquid metal could reduce the total thermal resistance (Rt). The above process was effective for microchannels with low channel aspect ratio, low mean velocity (Um) or long heat sink length. The maximum thermal resistance reduction in the example of this paper reached 36.0%. The expanded space endowed the heat sink with lower pressure, which might further reduce the pumping power (P). This rule was feasible both when fins were truncated (h_(2) < 0, h_(2) is the height of expanded channel for E-MCHS) and when over plate was raised (h_(2) > 0).
