For Double Heterogeneous(DH) systems, the analysis shows that the lattice modeling method has a great advantage in efficiency compared to the stochastic explicit modeling method, but the Lattice Modeling Method with Single-Particle Universe(LMMSU) has difficulties in calculating the problem of DH system with multiple particle sizes. In this paper, a Lattice Modeling Method with Multiple -Particles Universe(LMMMU) is proposed . The LMMMU has a computational error of less than 30 pcm when dealing with particle-dispersed fuel systems and still less than 50 pcm when dealing with particle-dispersed burnable poison systems. The memory footprint is reduced to 5.21% and the computation time is reduced to 1.25% compared to the stochastic explicit modeling method. The LMMMU also shows good compatibility when dealing with the problem of filling by two types of dispersed particles. Comprehensive analysis shows that the LMMMU is better than LMMSU in terms of applicability, efficiency, and accuracy. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Deep learning models have revolutionized various domains but have also raised concerns regarding their security and reliability. Adversarial attacks and coverage-based testing have been extensively studied to assess and enhance the dependability of deep neural networks. However, current research in this area has reached a state of stagnation. Adversarial attacks focus on exploiting vulnerabilities in models, while coverage-based testing aims to achieve comprehensive testing but overlooks application scenarios. Moreover, evaluating test cases solely based on their fault-revealing capability is insufficient. To address these limitations, we propose an innovative interdisciplinary framework that incorporates human-computer interaction methods in deep learning security testing. By considering the attributes of model application scenarios, we can design more effective test suites that intend to reveal the model's behavior across various scenarios, aiding in the identification of potential defects. Consequently, the test suite plays a crucial role in the testing process of deep learning models, contributing to the assurance of model robustness and reliability. Additionally, we establish a comprehensive evaluation metric for test suite quality, considering factors such as diversity and naturalness. This framework promotes reliable and secure deployment of deep learning models, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration between artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction.

This paper presents a pixel design of SPAD-based TOF sensor fabricated in CMOS technology. The pixel integrates a p-well/n-well SPAD device and an active quenching circuit. To reduce the wrong photon counts coursed by DCR and the background, 2×2 SPADs and quenching units are assigned with a time-to-digital converter (TDC).The TDC is based on a ring-oscillator to achieve high time measurement accuracy. The sensor is fabricated in 180-nm CMOS technology. The simulation results show the active quenching circuit effectively reduces the dead time down to 8 ns. The TDC helps the system achieve time measurement with a precision of 150 ps. © 2025 SPIE.

The potential for flow instability in passive residual heat removal systems (PRHRS) to result in equipment damage underscored the necessity for the development of effective mitigation strategies. In order to reduce the flow instabilities that occurs in the PRHRS, the idea of a fluctuation attenuation scheme based on a spring vibrator structure had been proposed. The structure was based on pressure pulsation attenuator in hydraulic systems and had been optimized. A model of a spring vibrator fluctuation attenuation pipe section was developed and its fluctuation attenuation effect was verified under specific parameters. Such as branch pipe length, cavity cross-sectional area, spring vibrator position, spring vibrator stiffness coefficient, and piston mass. The impact of these factors on fluctuation attenuation was investigated. The results demonstrated that, under identical inlet fluctuation conditions, the fluctuation peak at outlet of the pipe containing spring vibrator structure decreased. The optimization of the above parameters had been demonstrated to enhance the fluctuation removal effect of the spring vibrator structure. This study presented a novel approach to relieve flow instability in PRHRS. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Data centers have the characteristics of huge energy consumption and strong power fluctuations. To solve the problem of unstable supply and demand such as frequent power fluctuations in the micro-grid of the data center using renewable energies, this paper establishes a controllable load model of server clusters based on the task migration mechanism by analyzing the various tasks and characteristics of large cloud data centers, as well as edge computing nodes. Through the collaborative optimization control of edge and cloud computing tasks, and dynamically adjusting and migrating the server cluster load, a new data center tie-line power control method is proposed. The results of calculation examples show that the method can achieve power smoothing of large-scale cloud data center tie lines through cloud-edge collaborative control. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In the field of flight control systems, actuators play a crucial role, and dynamic stiffness stands as one of the pivotal metrics to gauge their performance, reflecting the actuators' resilience to external disturbances. Hence, investigating dynamic stiffness is paramount for enhancing the overall performance of flight control systems. This study focuses on a hydraulic dual-parallel actuator system, wherein a mathematical model is established to derive the expression for dynamic stiffness. Leveraging the Amesim software, a simulation model of the parallel actuator system is constructed to conduct an in-depth analysis of its dynamic stiffness characteristics. During simulation, sinusoidal loading forces of varying frequencies are applied at the output end of the actuator system, and displacement response data is collected. Subsequently, the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is employed to obtain dynamic stiffness, enabling an analysis of its variations. The relationship between the system's natural frequency and dynamic stiffness is explored, along with an investigation into the primary factors influencing dynamic stiffness. Simulation results indicate that enhancing both support and connection stiffness,reducing load mass and enlarging the piston area can enhance the system's dynamic stiffness, thereby meeting the performance requirements of flight control systems. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2024.

The coastal wetlands of the Yellow River Delta(YRD)in china are crucial for their valuable resources,environmental significance,and economic ***,these wetlands are also vulnerable to the dual threats of climate change and human *** substantial attention to the historical shifts in YRD's coastal wetlands,uncertainties remain regarding their future trajectory in the face of compound risks from climate change and anthropogenic *** on a range of remote sensing data sources,this study undertakes a comprehensive investigation into the evolution of YRD's coastal wetlands between 2000 and ***,the potential fate of coastal wetlands is thoroughly analyzed through the Land Use/Cover Change(LUCC)simulation using system Dynamic-Future Land Use Simulation(SD-FLUS)model and the extreme water levels projection integrated future sea-level rise,storm surge,and astronomical high tide in 2030,2050,and 2100 under scenarios of SSP1-2.6,SSP2-4.5,and *** revealed that YRD's coastal wetlands underwent a marked reduction,shrinking by 1688.72 km²from 2000 to *** decline was mostly attributed to the substantial expansion in the areas of artificial wetlands(increasing by 823.78 km2),construction land(increasing by 767.71 km²),and shallow water(increasing by 274.58 km²).Looking ahead to 2030-2100,the fate of coastal wetlands appears to diverge based on different *** the SSP1-2.6 scenario,the area of coastal wetland is projected to experience considerable *** contrast,the SSP5-8.5 scenario anticipates a notable decrease in coastal *** to the inundated area suffered from the current extreme water levels,the study projects a decrease of 6.8%-10.6%in submerged coastal wetlands by 2030 and 9.4%-18.2%by 2050 across all *** 2100,these percentages are projected to decrease by 0.4%(SSP2-4.5)and 27.1%(SSP5-8.5),but increase by 35.7%(SSP1-2.6).Results suggest that coastal wetlands in th

Metamorphic testing is one of the effective methods to alleviate the test oracle problem. Metamorphic relation is the core of metamorphic testing, and there is no effective automatic identification technology. This paper transforms the metamorphic relation recognition issue into a symbolic expression regression problem. The test input pairs are generated using the preset input pattern, and the output pattern is mined by gene expression programming. After reduction and verification, a valid metamorphic relation is obtained. Experiments show that this method can identify the relation obtained by static analysis and a more significant number. At the same time, compared with existing technologies, it has apparent advantages in effectiveness, reliability, and performance. © 2022 IEEE.
