With the growing popularity of API-driven multiservice application (mashup) development, the burgeoning web APIs have left developers drowning in the sea of web API selections. Matching developers with the most appropriate APIs is the key to improving user satisfaction and promoting more popular web applications. As a result, more and more researchers pay attention to web API recommender systems based on collaborative filtering. However, employing collaborative filtering to recommend APIs is challenging due to the severe sparsity of mashup and API interactions. To address this problem, we propose a probabilistic generative model, called the Binary-API Topic model (BAT), to parameterize mashups and APIs. Technically, BAT is equipped with a mechanism to extract binary-APIs and predict unknown pairwise interactions. To improve generality and capture more relevance from a limited number of interactions, we learn binary-API topics by directly modeling the generation of API co-occurrence patterns across the repository (all mashup collections from ***). The main advantage of BAT is that it preserves API co-occurrence patterns in model learning and exploits the rich global relevance. Finally, through extensive experiments, we demonstrate that BAT can achieve the highest performance on the sparse real-world data set.

Electroencephalogram (EEG) equipped with high time resolution that distracted by incoherent brain sources which including ocular artifacts (OAs) generating by blinks is of great significance. Therefore, these OAs got corrected before extracting information from EEG is indispensable. Improved Moment Matching (IMM) is a high-speed denoising algorithm suitable for removing OA in multi-channel EEG, which is an improvement of the moment matching method used to remove stripe noise in hyperspectral images. On foundation of this, this paper proposes an optimization algorithm for IMM based on Gaussian decay function (IMM_G). In the first place, the construction of the reference signal is optimized via utilizing a Gaussian decay function, thereby preventing the signal distortion caused by the filter. And then, a method for judging the to-be-processed interval is proposed to realizes the individualized processing of different channels. As a result, through quantitative comparison experiments with simulated data and real data from the UAIS laboratory, it was identified that IMM_G showed less time complexity, significantly enhanced arithmetic speed and denoising consequence while the detail retention ability of the original method for the non-blinking region of multi-channel EEG data is maintained. Hence, this method could be extensively used in High-density EEG (hdEEG) OAs removal scene. © 2022 IEEE.

Irradiation hardening is one of the most important aging effects of reactor pressure vessel (RPV) steel in long-term service. A number of studies have indicated that irradiation hardening is mainly caused by irradiation induced defects, such as dislocation loops and precipitates. In this paper, we have simulated the irradiation damage of low-copper reactor pressure vessel (RPV) steel. The generation of Mn-Ni-Si precipitates is simulated by the cluster dynamics model based on rate theory. On this basis, the crystal plasticity finite element method based on modified crystal plasticity model is used to simulate the effect of Mn-Ni-Si precipitates on the mechanical properties of RPV steels. The simulated results has been compared with the experimental results from the literature. By coupling the cluster dynamics and the crystal plastic finite element method, we suggest a multi-scale simulation method to simulate and predict irradiation damage of RPV steel. © 2020 American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Flexible air-breathing hypersonic vehicles show significant and complex aerodynamic, scramjet propulsion system, flight dynamic and elastic coupling characteristics, which usually are highly nonlinear. These result in huge uncertainties, parameter perturbation and internal disturbance, which can no longer be ignored, and therefore, extreme difficulties for flight control design. A unique parameter adaptive non-singular terminal sliding mode method is proposed for longitudinal control law design of a flexible coupling air-breathing hypersonic vehicle. This method uses adaptive reaching law gain instead of additional adaptive compensation term to handle the uncertainty to improve robustness. The stability of the close loop system is proved via a Lyapunov way. The longitudinal tracking control law for velocity and angle of attack is designed based on a rigid dynamic model of a flexible air-breathing hypersonic vehicle. A strong coupling model of the same vehicle, considering aerodynamic-scramjet engine-flight dynamic-elastic couplings, is established as the verification platform of control law designed. Simulation results obtained based on the coupling model demonstrate that the control law designed has good performance and acceptable robustness. © 2021, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Inc, AIAA. The integrated charging system of Electric vehicle consists of a single-phase PWM rectifier and a Buck converter. When the single-phase PWM rectifier works with unit power factor, the dc-link voltage contains a large voltage harmonic of twice the grid frequency. Although the output voltage ripple can be controlled within the required range using the proper control of the Buck converter, the second-order harmonic on the dc-link capacitor is inevitable. This paper proposes a de-side decoupling method for the second-order harmonic problem of the dc-link voltage of the integrated charging system. A de-side decoupling half bridge is connected in parallel to absorb the ripple power of twice the grid frequency. This paper analyzes the operating principle of the de-side decoupling half bridge. Based on a theoretical analysis of the topology and the design procedure for controlling system, the proposed converter is designed and simulated. Finally, simulation results are given to verify the method. © 2020 IEEE.

Optimizing various wireless user tasks poses a significant challenge for networking systems because of the expanding range of user requirements. Despite advancements in Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL), the need for customized optimization tasks for individual users complicates developing and applying numerous DRL models, leading to substantial computation resource and energy consumption and can lead to inconsistent outcomes. To address this issue, we propose a novel approach utilizing a Mixture of Experts (MoE) framework, augmented with Large Language Models (LLMs), to analyze user objectives and constraints effectively, select specialized DRL experts, and weigh each decision from the participating experts. Specifically, we develop a gate network to oversee the expert models, allowing a collective of experts to tackle a wide array of new tasks. Furthermore, we innovatively substitute the traditional gate network with an LLM, leveraging its advanced reasoning capabilities to manage expert model selection for joint decisions. Our proposed method reduces the need to train new DRL models for each unique optimization problem, decreasing energy consumption and AI model implementation costs. The LLMenabled MoE approach is validated through a general maze navigation task and a specific network service provider utility maximization task, demonstrating its effectiveness and practical applicability in optimizing complex networking systems.

Predicting Reverse Flow Characteristics in Equal-Height-Difference Passive Heat Removal system for Ocean Nuclear Power

The equal-height-difference passive heat removal system (EHDPHRS) via natural circulation driving and utilizes ocean as infinite heat sink for heat dissipation, showing broad application prospect in ocean nuclear power field;but the heat removal pipe normally encounters the reverse flow of the cold seawater into the pipe, leading to operation instability and even condensation-induced water hammer. In this study, the integration of the volume of fluid model and the condensation model based on surface renewal theory is used to simulate the reverse flow characteristics in heat removal pipe under single-and two-phase natural circulation conditions. The interfacial heat and mass transfer are calculated by user-defined functions. The numerical results reveal that the buoyancy force ( [[EQUATION]] ) and condensation driving force ( [[EQUATION]] ) both accelerate the reverse flow, while the inertial force ( [[EQUATION]] ) restrains the reverse flow;the reverse flow length presents monotonous decrease with increasing flow velocity under single-phase conditions and parabolic-like trend for two-phase flow. A prediction correlation for reverse length is developed using dimensionless Reynolds number, Grashof number and vapor volume fraction, covering single- and two-phase conditions. The predicted reverse length by the correlation agrees with 94% of the results within deviations of [[EQUATION]] 15%. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The propagation of 38 GHz and 3.5 GHz in typical scenarios of high-speed maglev train is studied. Referring to the magnetic field configuration of Shanghai Maglev, the viaduct and tunnel scenes are modeled and simulated. The propagation characteristics at 38GHz and 3.5GHz are compared in terms of receiving power and Doppler frequency shift, and the broadband path loss and delay spectrum parameters are modeled, which provides suggestions for the design of high-speed data transmission communication system. © 2021 IEEE.

Tilting quadrotor aircraft not only has the advantages of tilting twin-rotor aircraft, such as vertical takeoff and landing, free hovering and long-range transportation, and high-speed cruise, but also can improve the flight performance, carrying capacity and maneuverability of the aircraft. Taking a 100kg electric tilting quadrotor UAV as the target platform, the design technology of flight control system of the UAV was studied, including the reasonable and feasible system configuration, software and hardware development technology, system control law design technology, and the establishment technology of simulation platform of the system. The results show that the technical approach for the design of the flight control system of the electric tilting quadrotor is effective and can satisfy the operation requirements of the UAV. © 2023 IEEE.
