Wetland,as one of the weakest ecosystems in the world,is deteriorating rapidly in many *** wetland is the biggest urban wetland in China,located in the inner of Daqing city,Heilongjiang *** is divided into two areas by Wolong road,the east is provincial natural reserve and the west is *** paper describes a remote sensing change detection approach used to assess Longfeng wetland *** images were used,i.e.,Landsat MSS in August 1979,Landsat TM in July 1990 and in August 2001,LISS-Ⅲ in July *** spectral mixture model(LSMM)method was used to classify the wetland and the results were *** results showed that the land cover types of Longfeng wetland had been greatly affected by human civilities(such as city extension and fishery),which was more deeply in unprotected area than in natural reserve.

For waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), large quantities of waste printed circuit boards (PCBs) are released into environment. In light of their characteristics including complex structures, high metals content and potential hazards, waste PCBs are regarded as the most difficult parts of WEEE to be recycled. Therefore in recent ten years, the issue has attracted much attention from researchers and enterprises. This article reviews the latest processes of waste PCBs developed from laboratories to pilot engineering applications, and presents the most suitable available technology for waste PCBs, typically categorized as manually dismantling and automatic approaches in developing and developed countries, respectively. Towards achieving the better sustainability and recyclability for waste PCBs, nonmetal powder and precious metals should be developed for a deep recovery following mechanical treatment. Additionally, a significant shift is emerging from dismantling for recycling of printed wiring boards, to disassembling for remanufacturing of electronic components, which will indicate that a new paradigm of reclaiming waste PCBs is shaping.

On the ground of high resistance to pressure, long life and good retractility, the welded metal bellows are widely used by the space industry. Their performance reductions have a serious effect on the system reliability of space products during the storage. The strength and stiffness analysis of welded metal bellows are performed by theoretical research, numerical simulation and test verification in this paper. Moreover, it is ascertained that the main failure mode of bellows is stress looseness. Then the residual load carrying capacity is confirmed as the failure criterion of bellows. The variation of residual load carrying capacity with time is derived on the base of Larson-Miller model. Then, the assessment model of bellows storage durability is based on stress-strength model. At last, some welded metal bellows storage test data are evaluated through this method, and life evaluation on storage durability of bellows is presented. This method is great guidance significance for optimizing the design of welded metal bellows assembly and assessing storage reliability of space products.

Effect of Lead Contamination on Soil Microbial Activity Measured by Microcalorimetry

Microcalorimetry was used to investigate the microbial activity in three types of soil （orchard soil, crop soil, forest soil） in Wuhan, China, and to evaluate the influence of different concentrations of lead （Pb^2＋） on soil microbial activity. The experimental results revealed that due to different physical and chemical characteristics of the soils, soil microbial activity in three soil samples were in a descending sequence： orchards soil, crops soil, forest soil. Six levels ofPb viz. 0, 10, 20, 40, 80, 160 μg·g^-1 were applied in these soils, and the results showed that an in- crease of the amount of Pb^2＋ is associated with a decrease in microbial activity in the soils due to the toxic effect of Pb^2＋. In order to gain further insight of the sequential change of microorganisms, determination of colony forming units （CFU） was performed to provide a negative linear correlation between the heat effect and the respective number of microorganisms in the system.

Induction motors are widely used in industry, and usually have a long life. To predict the life and reliability of the motors within a reasonable time, a simple and available accelerated degradation testing method is presented. To simulate the unbalanced load on the motor, the lamina with circular holes is mounted on the shaft of the motor eccentrically, and different unbalanced loads are obtained by changing the mounted places of the lamina. A motor accelerated test with three kinds of stress is applied, and the Orbit Areas are used to reveal the performance degradation index of motor. The life and reliability of the motor is finally predicted and evaluated with a balanced lamina mounted on the shaft as its normal working condition. The accelerated degradation testing approach has been proven to be practical to predict the life of the motors.

Purpose of VLSI failure analysis is to find effective measure to eliminate or reduce the same failure to happen again. But failure mechanism or failure mode of VLSI is variety. If the VLSI failure analyzer can not find out the root cause, wrong prevention method may be adapted and failure may still happen next time. This paper introduces fault simulation test, which is an effective way to distinguish the similar failure mechanism and confirm the failure mode, such as latch-up effect, electric over stress (EOS), etc. It can provide useful reference information for the users or producers. At the same time, several typical failure analysis cases are used to show how the fault simulation test works.

Biclustering of DNA microarray data that can mine significant patterns to help in understanding gene regulation and interactions. This is a classical multi-objective optimization problem (MOP). Recently, many researchers have developed stochastic search methods that mimic the efficient behavior of species such as ants, bees, birds and frogs, as a means to seek faster and more robust solutions to complex optimization problems. The particle swarm optimization(PSO) is a heuristics-based optimization approach simulating the movements of a bird flock finding food. The shuffled frog leaping algorithm (SFLA) is a population-based cooperative search metaphor combining the benefits of the local search of PSO and the global shuffled of information of the complex evolution technique. This paper introduces SFL algorithm to solve biclustering of microarray data, and proposes a novel multi-objective shuffled frog leaping biclustering(MOSFLB) algorithm to mine coherent patterns from microarray data. Experimental results on two real datasets show that our approach can effectively find significant biclusters of high quality. © 2011 IEEE.

Aperture coupling is the primary way that electromagnetic interference energy into the metal chamber, which would damage the electronic equipment. Articles use FEKO electromagnetic simulation software to analysis the aperture coupling electromagnetic field inside the metal chamber with equal-area different shape (square, circular, rectangular) and the different number apertures. Analysis results showed that: equal-area condition, the round hole chamber has the best shielding effectiveness, multiple hole chamber shielding effectiveness is better than a single hole chamber. © 2011 IEEE.

The lightning direct threat to flight safety, study characteristics of the aircraft struck by lightning based on SAE-ARP5416 lightning protection testing methods and the international standards, using CST EM Studio software to simulate lightning attachment points on equal scale aircraft models. Studying the relevant parameters influence to the simulation results. The relevant parameters obtained based on the simulation of aircraft lightning partition, the zoning results are consistent with the SAE-ARP5414 Aircraft Lightning Zoning results.
