High-performance multifunctional polymeric materials integrated with high fire safety,excel-lent mechanical performances and electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding properties have great prospects in practical ***,designing highly fire-safe and mechanically ro-bust EMI shielding nanocomposites remains a great ***,hierarchical thermoplastic polyurethane/cyclophosphazene functionalized titanium carbide/carbon fiber fabric(TPU/CP-Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)/CF)nanocomposites with high fire safety and mechanical strength and toughness were prepared through the methods of melt blending,layer-by-layer stacking and *** TPU/CP-Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)showed improved thermal ***,the peak of heat release rate and total heat release of the hi-erarchical TPU sample containing 4.0 wt.%CP-Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)were respectively reduced by 64.4%and 31.8%relative to those of pure TPU,which were far higher than those of other TPU-based *** averaged EMI shielding effectiveness value of the hierarchical TPU/CP-Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)-2.0/CF nanocomposite reached 30.0 dB,which could satisfy the requirement for commercial ***,the ten-sile strength of TPU/CP-Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)-2.0/CF achieved 43.2 MPa,and the ductility and toughness increased by 28.4%and 84.3%respectively compared to those of TPU/*** hydrogen bonding in combination with catalytic carbonization of CP-Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)nanosheets and continuous conductive network of CF were re-sponsible for the superior fire safety,excellent EMI shielding and outstanding mechanical *** work offers a promising strategy to prepare multifunctional TPU-based nanocomposites,which have the potential for large-scale application in the fields of electronics,electrical equipment and 5 G facilities.

Factors Influencing the Thermal Conductivity of Silt in the Yellow River Delta

The thermal conductivity of marine sediments is an important thermophysical parameter in the study of seafloor heat flow and marine engineering *** the effect of thermal conductivity of marine sediments in the environment has a major engineering value and theoretical *** this work,a modified test method was used to measure the thermal conductivity of silt in the Yellow River Delta under different void ratios,moisture contents,temperatures,and *** showed that the thermal conductivity of silt in the Yellow River Delta decreased with the increase in the void ratio and increased with the water *** with sand and clay,silt in the Yellow River Delta was the least affected by the void ratio and moisture *** low temperatures,the heat transfer of soil was controlled by the average velocity of the phonons;therefore,the thermal conductivity of silt in the Yellow River Estuary increased with *** thermal conductivity of pore water decreased with increasing ***,certain salinity levels resulted in a phenomenon known as the‘compressing twin electrical layer’,which led to an increase in the contact area between soil *** the increase in salinity,the thermal conductivity of silt in the Yellow River Delta experiences an initial decline and a subsequent *** proposed thermal conductivity test method is more accurate than the existing technique,and the findings provide a basis for further study on the thermal characteristics of submarine sediments.

Five new semiconductors Pb_(5)Sb_(12+x)Bi_(6-x)Se_(32)(x=0,1,2,3,and 4)have been synthesized for the first time,which adopt pavonite-type structure and crystallize in monoclinic C2/m space *** crystal structure is composed of two different types of polyhedral ***-I is a galena-like structure motif that forms with[MSe_(6)](M=Pb,Sb,and Bi)octahedra and slab-Ⅱcontains one octahedral[MSe_(6)]block and paired squared pyramids[MSe_(5)].Pb_(5)Sb_(12+x)Bi_(6-x)Se_(32)exhibits n-type semiconductor behaviors and the remarkable Seebeck coefficient from-64.1μV K^(-1)for x=0 sample to-242μV K^(-1)forx=4 sample at 300 ***,the Pb_(5)Sb_(12)Bi_(6)Se_(32)has the highest carrier concentration of 1.35×10^(20)cm^(-3)in pavonite-type *** complex compositions,mixed occupancies of the cations,and quasi-two-dimensional structure lead to the low lattice thermal conduc-tivity(κ_(lat))less than 0.48 W m^(-1)K^(-1)from 300 to 723 K,at which Pb_(5)Sb_(16)Bi_(2)Se_(32)especially shows the ultralow value of 0.25 W m^(-1)K^(-1).As a result,the thermoelectric figure of merit,ZT~0.34 at 723 K,is obtained for the intrinsic Pb_(5)Sb_(12)Bi_(6)Se_(32).

Exploiting the intelligent photocatalysts capable of phase separation provides a promising solution to the removal of uranium,which is expected to solve the difficulty in separation and the poor selectivity of traditional photocatalysts in carbonate-containing uranium *** this paper,theγ-FeOOH/konjac glucomannan grafted with phenolic hydroxyl groups/poly-N-isopropylacrylamide(γ-FeOOH/KGM(Ga)/PNIPAM)thermosensitive hydrogel is proposed as the photocatalysts for extracting uranium from carbonate-containing uranium *** dynamic phase transformation is demonstrated to confirm the arbitrary transition ofγ-FeOOH/KGM(Ga)/PNIPAM thermosensitive hydrogel from a dispersed state with a high specific surface area at low temperatures to a stable aggregated state at high ***,theγ-FeOOH/KGM(Ga)/PNIPAM thermosensitive hydrogel achieves a remarkably high rate of 92.3%in the removal of uranium from the wastewater containing carbonates and maintains the efficiency of uranium removal from uranium mine wastewater at over 90%.Relying on electron spin resonance and free radical capture experiment,we reveal the adsorption-reduction-nucleation-crystalliza tion mechanism of uranium onγ-FeOOH/KGM(Ga)/PNIPAM thermosensitive ***,this strategy provides a promising solution to treating uranium-contaminated wastewater,showing a massive potential in water purification.

Potential application of jet 3D printing technology for crack repair on asphalt pavement

To clarify the key points and direction of injection 3D printing technology for repairing pavement cracks， the types and repair methods of common pavement cracks are summarized， and the characteristics of pavement crack repair methods are introduced， including advantages of the injection method. Two kinds of 3D printing technology， 3D printing main molding technology and the advantages of 3D printing technology for repairing pavement cracks are introduced. Based on injection method and 3D printing technology， the injection 3D printing technology， equipment and 3D printing materials are proposed in this paper. It is summarized as follows: （1） Jet 3D printing technology is used to repair pavement cracks without slotting cracks. Repair material in the nozzle is jetted at a high speed， and the bond strength with crack wall is high， the repair effect is good. （2） Research on the technology of automatically determining the print path after the equipment identifies cracks， so that the equipment can complete the two processes of picture confirmation print path and print head jet repair material at the same time. The efficiency and accuracy of printing cracks are improved. （3） Emulsified asphalt is modified by mineral powder， water-based epoxy resin and styrene-butadiene rubber; Asphalt is modified by rubber， SBS， polyethylene， epoxy resin， etc.， or by adding two or more polymers; The materials such as polyurethane and adhesive can be modified by titanium dioxide/shape memory polyurethane composite material and DTF （Duct Tape Federation） self-adhesive suture tape. Our research group intends to use rubber and C9petroleum resin to modify SBS modified asphalt. While El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO)modulates landscape fire activities across the Pacific Rim,the detailed patterns and mode-specific variations of these effects remain poorly *** study aims to address that gap by systematically assessing the spatiotemporal variations in burned areas from 2001 to 2020 during different modes of ENSO,namely,Eastern Pacific(EP)El Niño,EP La Niña,Central Pacific(CP)El Niño and CP La Niñ*** evaluate the modulation patterns using classical correlation and cross-spectrum analyses,focusing on five hotspot regions:Temperate North America(TENA),Southern Hemisphere South America(SHSA),Northern Hemisphere South America(NHSA),Equatorial Asia(EQAS)and Australia and New Zealand(AUST).El Niño and La Niña exhibit asymmetrical opposite effects on burned areas,as *** findings reveal spatial non-uniformity in the impact of ENSO on landscape fires,with La Niña enhancing burned areas in TENA and SHSA,whereas El Niño predominantly affects AUST,EQAS and *** and EP ENSO events differ in intensity and their large-scale circulation *** differences cause notable variations in the regional burned *** vapour redistribution emerges as the key *** study emphasises the heterogeneity in ENSO modes in regulating landscape fires,providing insights for future landscape fire risk assessment and prevention efforts under climate change.
