Under the condition of limited interference resources, how to maximize the benefits of multiple jammers interfering with multiple radars has become a research hotspot. This paper has designed a reasonable interference evaluation method. Aiming at the disadvantages of genetic algorithm and ant colony optimization, made some improvements, and combined genetic methods and ant colony optimization, besides, a new crossover and mutation method based on constraints is proposed, which overcomes the shortcomings of invalid iteration of genetic algorithm and easy to fall into local optimal solution of ant colony optimization. Through simulation analysis, the fused algorithm can reach the optimal value within a short number of iterations, improving the utilization efficiency of the jammer. © 2020 Institution of Engineering and technology. Research on mechanically beam-steering of horn antenna using non-uniform meta-surface is presented in this paper. After optimizing the layout of quasi-I-shaped unit cell, we designed a flexible bi-layer meta-surface that can bring a main beam deflection of 40°. When the meta-surface is sliding along the long side of horn antenna, the main beam can be steered accordingly in a range of ±40°. A mechanically radiation reconfigurable antenna is thus achieved by a simple structure. Sliding of the meta-surface relative to the horn can be realized by a motor-driven conveyor belt when the prototype is fabricated in the following research. © 2020 IEEE.

The role of sea surface temperature(SST)forcing in the development and predictability of tropical cyclone(TC)intensity is examined using a large set of idealized numerical experiments in the Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF)*** results indicate that the onset time of rapid intensification of TC gradually decreases,and the peak intensity of TC gradually increases,with the increased magnitude of *** predictability limits of the maximum 10 m wind speed(MWS)and minimum sea level pressure(MSLP)are~72 and~84 hours,*** of the analyses of variance for different simulation time confirm that the MWS and MSLP have strong signal-to-noise ratios(SNR)from 0-72 hours and a marked decrease beyond 72 *** the horizontal and vertical structures of wind speed,noticeable decreases in the magnitude of SNR can be seen as the simulation time increases,similar to that of the SLP or perturbation *** results indicate that the SST as an external forcing signal plays an important role in TC intensity for up to 72 hours,and it is significantly weakened if the simulation time exceeds the predictability limits of TC intensity.

This paper designs an array antenna with a planar printed structure. The antenna element adopts a rectangular slot antenna, and the antenna element is excited by a T-shaped feeding structure. The microstrip power distribution network is used to feed the antenna radiator array with equal power. The microstrip power distribution network and slot radiator array are located on top and bottom of dielectric substrate, and the array antenna is implemented by use of the printed circuit technology. In order to improve the gain, a metal reflector ground is placed below the dielectric substrate. A planar printed slot array antenna working in X band is designed. The coaxial line is used to feed the array antenna at the bottom. The whole antenna structure is easy to feed and suitable for fabrication. The designed array antenna was numerically calculated using full wave electromagnetic simulation software. At a working frequency of 10.1GHz, the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of the antenna is about 1.35, and the gain is about 21.46dB. The design of the antenna scheme can be used as a reference for the actual application of engineering.

The continuous miniaturization of 2D electronic circuits results in increased power density during device operation, leading to heat localization and placing higher demands on their performance thresholds. The risk to thermal breakdown and subsequent damage, due to the energy dissipation in the 2D semiconductor field-effect transistors (FETs) supported on the bulk substrates, represents a significant challenge in maintaining their optimal performance. Herein, this study investigates energy dissipation behavior in multilayer PdSe2 FETs for the first time. The high-field breakdown behavior is firstly studied in multilayer PdSe2 FETs on SiO2/Si substrates, where a maximum current density of ≈2.74 MA cm−2 is observed, which is comparable to that of multilayer black phosphorus FET and significantly higher—by about five times—than that of multilayer MoS2 FET. Additionally, the thermal boundary conductance (TBC) of PdSe2/SiO2 interface is measured at room temperature using Raman thermometry. The TBC is found to be ≈12–13 MW m−2 K−1, which is relatively low compared to the other known solid–solid interfaces, indicating that enhancing the performance of PdSe2 FETs can be possible by optimizing the TBC at the PdSe2/SiO2 interface. These findings provide valuable insights for design of high-quality and high-performance PdSe2 electronic and optoelectronic devices. © 2025 Wiley-VCH GmbH.

Falls are one of the reasons why older people need to receive care. Walking training is effective for preventing older people from falling. Accordingly, various research related to walking training has been conducted. We aimed to introduce robots in walking training of older people, and we developed a walking-promotion robot. In this paper, we designed motions for promoting walking by older people and evaluated the effects on the participants motivation to walk and the impression of the robot conveyed by the robots motions. From the experimental results, we confirmed that a robot did affect the participants motivation to walk.

In the study of the multi-UAV penetration mission decision method, the Heterogeneous Agent Soft Actor-Critic algorithm uses the HAML framework and the maximum entropy principle to enable UAVs to have stronger anti-jamming capability and exploration capability. However, it is difficult to accurately evaluate the action value of UAVs and the training stability is poor. To address this issue, this paper proposes a multi-agent based on the state prediction-HASAC (SP-HASAC) jamming decision method. Based on the idea of advantage function decomposition and environmental dynamics model, the state prediction network is designed to extract more abundant spatial information of penetration battlefield and achieve accurate evaluation of the action value of multi-UAV. Combining with the negative domain activation theory, the ReLU function is improved to realize the stable training of multi-UAV. The simulation results show that in the electronic penetration scenario of three UAVs against a single radar, the training convergence time of the proposed improved algorithm is reduced by 22% compared with the original algorithm. Three UAVs penetration to twice the burn-through distance still has more than 70% penetration success rate.

This paper introduces an array antenna by use of printed monopole antennas as element. The designed array antenna consists of two layers of dielectric substrate and a metal reflective ground. The array antenna element adopts trapezoidal printed monopole antenna, and the element is fed by coplanar waveguide (CPW). The array antenna radiator is located on the top of the upper dielectric substrate, and the feeding microstrip power divider network is located on the bottom of the lower dielectric substrate. The antenna element radiator is vertically connected to the microstrip feeding power divider network in a coaxial-like manner. The whole structure of the antenna is simple, and the feeding structure is convenient, which makes it suitable for fabrication and assembly. A printed 4x4 monopole array antenna was designed and the relevant simulated results are provided. The simulation results show that at the 10GHz, the designed array antenna has a gain of approximately 12.73 dB and a return loss of approximately -11.75 dB. The antenna scheme discussed in this paper can provide technical reference for the design of planar printed array antennas.

Tropical rainfall is important for regional climate around the *** a warming climate forced by rising CO_(2),the tropical rainfall will increase over the equatorial Pacific where sea surface warming is locally ***,we analyze an idealized CO_(2) removal experiment from the Carbon Dioxide Removal Model Intercomparison Project(CDRMIP)and show that the tropical rainfall change features a stronger pattern during CO_(2) ramp-down than ramp-up,even under the same global mean temperature increase,such as the 2℃ goal of the Paris *** tropical rainfall during CO_(2) ramp-down increases over the equatorial Pacific with a southward extension,and decreases over the Pacific intertropical convergence zone and South Pacific convergence *** asymmetric rainfall changes between CO_(2) ramp-down and ramp-up result from time-varying contributions of the fast and slow oceanic responses to CO_(2) forcing,defined as the responses to abrupt CO_(2) forcing in the first 10 years and thereafter,respectively,in the abrupt-4xCO_(2) *** fast response follows the CO_(2) evolution,but the slow response does not peak until 60 years after the CO_(2) *** slow response features a stronger El Niño-like pattern,as the ocean dynamical thermostat effect is suppressed under stronger subsurface *** delayed and stronger slow response leads to stronger tropical rainfall changes during CO_(2) *** results indicate that returning the global mean temperature increase to below a certain goal,such as 2℃,by removing CO_(2),may fail to restore tropical convection distribution,with potentially devastating effects on climate worldwide.
