Winter jujube(Ziziphus jujuba'Dongzao')is greatly appreciated by consumers for its excellent quality,but brand infringement frequently occurs in the ***,we first determined a total of 38 elements in 167 winter jujube samples from the main winter jujube producing areas of China by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer(ICP-MS).As a result,16 elements(Mg,K,Mn,Cu,Zn,Mo,Ba,Be,As,Se,Cd,Sb,Ce,Er,Tl,and Pb)exhibited significant differences in samples from different producing *** linear discriminant analysis(LDA)and orthogonal projection to latent structures discriminant analysis(OPLS-DA)showed better performance in identifying the origin of samples than unsupervised principal component analysis(PCA).LDA and OPLS-DA had a mean identification accuracy of 87.84 and 94.64%in the testing set,*** using the multilayer perceptron(MLP)and C5.0,the prediction accuracy of the models could reach 96.36 and 91.06%,*** on the above four chemometric methods,Cd,Tl,Mo and Se were selected as the main variables and principal markers for the origin identification of winter ***,this study demonstrates that it is practical and precise to identify the origin of winter jujube through multi-element fingerprint analysis with chemometrics,and may also provide reference for establishing the origin traceability system of other fruits.

This study aimed to determine the regulatory mechanism of dietary zinc lactate(ZL)supplementation on intestinal oxidative stress damage in a paraquat(PQ)-induced piglet ***-eight piglets(mean body weight 9.51±0.23 kg)weaned at 28 d of age were randomly divided into control,ZL,PQ,and ZL+PQ groups(n=7 in each group).The ZL-supplemented diet had little effect on growth performance under normal physiological ***,under PQ challenge,ZL supplementation significantly improved average daily gain(P<0.05)and reduced the frequency of *** improved intestinal morphology and ultrastructure by significantly increasing the expression level of the jejunal tight junction protein,zonula occludens-1(ZO-1)(P<0.05),and intestinal zinc transport and absorption in PQ-induced piglets,which reduced intestinal *** supplementation also enhanced the expression of antioxidant and antiinflammatory factor-related genes and decreased inflammatory cytokine expression and secretion in PQinduced ***,ZL treatment significantly inhibited the activation of constitutive androstane receptor(CAR)signaling(P<0.01)in PQ-induced piglets and altered the structure of the gut microbiota,especially by significantly increasing the abundance of beneficial gut microbes,including UCG_002,Ruminococcus,Rikenellaceae_RC9_gut_group,Christensenellaceae_R_7_group,Treponema,unclassified_Christensenellaceae,and unclassified_Erysipelotrichaceae(P<0.05).These data reveal that pre-administration of ZL to piglets can suppress intestinal oxidative stress by improving antioxidant and anti-inflammatory capacity and regulating the crosstalk between CAR signaling and gut microbiota.

Robust Dynamic Latent Variable Model for Dynamic process Monitoring With Missing Data in Cyber-Physical Systems

Although remarkable studies on dynamic process modeling and monitoring in cyber-physical systems have been conducted, there are still several limitations to these approaches, rendering them unsuitable for practical applications. Firstly, the common dynamic models are built based on complete data, which means that their modeling performance usually deteriorates when there are missing measurements. Secondly, practical data often exhibits more complex characteristics, such as non-stationary and non-Gaussian noises. Therefore, a robust dynamic latent variable model is proposed to address the challenges of dynamic process modeling and monitoring in complex measurement environments with missing values. The proposed method effectively handles non-Gaussian noises and recursively estimates missing values, thus enhancing the monitoring performance within the dynamic latent variable modeling framework. Finally, the feasibility and superiority of the proposed method are evaluated through a numerical example and a real wastewater treatment case, demonstrating its effectiveness and practicality in real-world scenarios.

Liquid metal-based microchannel heat sinks (MCHSs) suffer from the low heat capacity of coolant, resulting in an excessive temperature rise of coolant and heat sink when dealing with high-power heat dissipation. In this paper, it was found that expanded space at the top of fins could distribute the heat inside microchannels, reducing the temperature rise of coolant and heat sink. The orthogonal experiments revealed that expanding the top space of channels yielded similar temperature reductions to changing the channel width. The flow and thermal modeling of expanded microchannel heat sink (E-MCHS) were analyzed by both using the 3-dimensional (3D) numerical simulation and the 1-dimensional (1D) thermal resistance model. The fin efficiency of E-MCHS was derived to improve the accuracy of the 1D thermal resistance model. The heat conduction of liquid metal in Z direction and the heat convection between the top surface of fins and the liquid metal could reduce the total thermal resistance (Rt). The above process was effective for microchannels with low channel aspect ratio, low mean velocity (Um) or long heat sink length. The maximum thermal resistance reduction in the example of this paper reached 36.0%. The expanded space endowed the heat sink with lower pressure, which might further reduce the pumping power (P). This rule was feasible both when fins were truncated (h_(2) < 0, h_(2) is the height of expanded channel for E-MCHS) and when over plate was raised (h_(2) > 0).

Monoterpenes are typical aroma components of muscat grape cultivars,providing pleasant floral and fruity aromas to grapes and ***,the molecular mechanism of monoterpene biosynthesis between muscat and non-muscat grape remains ***,the muscat grape cultivar‘Jumeigui’and the non-muscat grape cultivar‘Kyoho’were chosen as plant materials for a comprehensive transcriptome and metabolite *** gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)analysis demonstrated that a total of 27 and 23 monoterpene compounds were identified and quantified in the‘Jumeigui’and‘Kyoho’grape,respectively.‘Jumeigui’grape accumulated significantly higher concentrations of monoterpenes than‘Kyoho’***,geraniol,linalool,geranic acid,and β-citronellol might be important odorants contributing to the floral character of the‘Jumeigui’grape due to the high levels odor activity values(OAVs).Transcriptome analysis demonstrated that the expression profiles of VvDXS,***1,Vv TPS-b/g showed a positive correlation with monoterpene accumulation in *** addition,the expression patterns of the genes involved in jasmonic acid(JA)synthesis and signal were also positively correlated with monoterpene *** these results will help guide the functional verification of candidate genes related to monoterpene biosynthesis,as well as identify the master transcriptional and hormonal regulators of this pathway in grapes.

Nonlinear industrial process fault diagnosis with latent label consistency and sparse Gaussian feature learning

With the increasing complexity of industrial processes, the high-dimensional industrial data exhibit a strong nonlinearity, bringing considerable challenges to the fault diagnosis of industrial processes. To efficiently extract deep meaningful features that are crucial for fault diagnosis, a sparse Gaussian feature extractor(SGFE) is designed to learn a nonlinear mapping that projects the raw data into the feature space with the fault label dimension. The feature space is described by the one-hot encoding of the fault category label as an orthogonal basis. In this way, the deep sparse Gaussian features related to fault categories can be gradually learned from the raw data by SGFE. In the feature space,the sparse Gaussian(SG) loss function is designed to constrain the distribution of features to multiple sparse multivariate Gaussian distributions. The sparse Gaussian features are linearly separable in the feature space, which is conducive to improving the accuracy of the downstream fault classification task. The feasibility and practical utility of the proposed SGFE are verified by the handwritten digits MNIST benchmark and Tennessee-Eastman(TE) benchmark process,respectively.
